Basically line up 15 min before it opens or come late in the afternoon. No one wants to be here and having to wait in line just makes it worse. Overall once it's your turn the blood drawing is quick and painless read more

It's crazy to see how this lab is open , only one lady in the back drawing blood , no one is at the front checking in patients,as a new patient you come in and don't know what to do ? Just sit to be asked to take a number . Saw one staff outside and she stated she is taking a break and just to sit and wait.staff drawing blood stabbed my vein read more

The front desk staff member, Angela, was very rude and displayed a negative attitude towards everyone who came in. She tried to kick me out of the lab while I was in the process of updating my insurance. I informed her that I would call my insurance to resolve the issue immediately, but she rushed me as if she didn't care. Please consider training your staff, as this behavior was unacceptable read more

The office is newer than others in the area but the girl in the front is soooo slow with paperwork! Need more staff ! read more

The lab is so dirty, especially the restroom. Unbearable. We went there in the morning, the floor of the bathroom was full of paper, never seen anything like this. I told the staff in the office, they didn't care. read more

Did a walk in and was seen rather quickly. The phlebotomist crystal was sweet, caring and very nice!!

Highly do not recommend coming to this site. Front desk employee named Stella was extremely rude and kept berating me for asking a question about insurance copay charge. I came multiple times before and previously confirmed with my insurance the copay amounts (since I need to go often to get blood work done). She contacted the manager, who confirmed that the amount I brought up was correct and that Stella's amount was not. Stella raised her voice at me and verbally harassed me while I was filling out paperwork and even followed me to when I went in to get blood work done, stating that I was still wrong even though she already confirmed with her manager what the amount was. When I finished and came out, she still continued to raise her voice at me. If you intend to visit this site, please beware. read more

Very bad service. I called them many times asking them questions but not answered. So I had to visit in person. When I went in, I tried to calling again to see if their phone worked or not. The phone kept ringing. The staff siting at the phone just ignored it. I asked them why they refused to answer the phone. They just said they were busy and they would not answer any phone until they were not busy. I told them if they could have received my phone, I would not have to come in person. Anyway, very bad service. They are good at making excuses. read more

I came in at 4pm for blood work and a urine sample. There was no waiting and I was the only person there. The young lady that helped me was nice and quick. The instructions given to me were very clear and straightforward. I got out in 20 minutes. There is also convenient parking behind the building. I did not encounter any issue during my visit, so I will definitely consider coming back in the future, especially during the afternoons. read more

Another low rating for this hole but who cares, right? Can't comment on the quality and accuracy of test results because I don't have a way to assess that side. But the consumer service is pretty pathetic. One lady in the entire office doing all the tasks form the front desk to running collecting blood samples and who knows what else. But again, who cares, cuz that's all that's available for many of us. read more

Literally go here. Arrived 2pm on weekday and the phlebotomist was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. Quality care. New location at 101 Wheeler Ave unit D. Follow the signs. Ample parking too. read more

Nobody picked up the phone - not surprising from what I've seen in the reviews - and when I went in person, there was nobody in the office. The sign said they were taking a break and they'd be back in 15. 45 minutes later, nobody was there. read more

Somehow my insurance provider and group has changed, I've call Anthem to change it and effective immediately, Anthem even said it might not show up right away and gave me a ref# where I can provide to them to confirm just incase and they refuse to confirm read more

One person working and she is extremely rude. Would not recommend this location to anyone. There needs to be more staff if she can't handle the job by herself. read more

There is only one employee who works here, and she's pretty much the rudest you can get. You can tell she doesn't want to be there, she'll roll her eyes at you and stay stuck on her cell phone. It took me awhile there because I had trouble with my insurance and she was unable to locate it. As I kept contacting my insurance to update it, I needed a different number because she gave me the wrong one. I also had questions for her but she was always taking her personal phone calls on her cell phone. Super unprofessional! Then later after my insurance was corrected, I sat there waiting and she was doing paperwork. I ask her if she was waiting for me to do my urine test first because I was unsure of what was happening. I sat there for a bit so decided to ask her, and she says with the most snobbiest voice "I'm doing paperwork." She looks at me, looks down and cleans her desk then takes me in. Yes, I'm taking up sooo much of her time! Get me in and out lady! I don't want to be there just as much as you! She was miserable and never cracked a smile with anybody. I was petrified because she had to stick a needle in my arm! read more

I called to make an appointment. I have no prior experience with this lab. The phone rang and rang, finally someone with a very strong accent answered and I couldn't understand what she said. I asked "is this sun labs"? She said "yes how can I help you" (At least I think that's what she said). It sounded like she was in a bathroom or hallway, definitely had the phone on speaker. I said "I'd like to make an appointment" she replied but it was unintelligible. I said "what"? She screamed at me (no joke) and said (I think) "No appointment, walk in"!! My response was "how rude" and I hung up. Called another location and the gal was very sweet, I will be going to the one in another city. read more

I went to get my blood drawn like a few weeks ago. It was quick! The person who was doing it was good... I shall go there in Arcadia new location it's a lot better than the old location! read more

Zero would be more accurate. The office and staff in Arcadia was just disgusting. Staff in West Covina office was considerate and helpful. Room where blood was drawn was more like a storage room. I don't know how they get away with it. Trying to find a way to never have to use this lab again. read more

Literally they have a new person working all by herself. Poor lady is freaking out. There are issues with both the people in front of me, which from my understanding of overhearing the conversation, is totally avoidable with someone who is actually familiar with the office and system. Any business that leaves a "new person" alone to handle the office by herself needs to get 1 star. This is not a critique on the lady herself. She's doing the best that she can with the hand that she was delt by bad management. read more

My husband went to this lab for blood draw/test. They lost his insurance ID card!!!! They told my husband that they couldn't find it?????? What kind of lab service is this?!!!! Besides, they even told my husband that his name didn't show up in their system. That's why they were not able to do blood test for him today. But my husband's insurance was active according to the insurance company Aetna. They asked him to call the insurance. Even after the insurance company said my husband's status is active they still won't do the blood test on him. Waste of our precious time. read more

This place is so horrible there's one lady doing everything she's the check in/receptionist and draws the blood/lab work. It's kinda gross seeing her answer phones in her gloves then go to the back and take blood not changing the gloves especially during this time. read more

My husband just went in for lab work, and walked in on the young Hispanic girl, holding hands behind the reception desk making out with her boyfriend. He was not a staff member and apparently came in to bring her coffee. She even asked her boyfriend if he wanted to wait outside or wait in the back office while she attended to my husband. Very unprofessional. Calling corporate to notify them of this. read more

Please hire a second person to help run this laboratory. Current worker is doing 4 things at once. She's doing her best but it is easy to make a clerical or sample test mistake. Only 3 people ahead of me and wait time was ridiculous. read more

Definitely should have checked Yelp. Google had a 3.9 rating. You can't even make an appointment it's first come first serve which would be great if I wasn't working. Why IS there only 1 person doing check in with the same gloves she uses to draw my blood. AND this is the 1st time I've had to pay a copay for lab work. This is my arm after the visit. I've had worse but on my best visits all you see is a dot. I was told this is "my" lab thanks to my "group" which I WILL be changing. read more

This place is fu*king ridiculous!!! ONE person runs the lab. I'm writing this review as I've been waiting 1.5 hours to have my blood drawn. This lady clearly can not multitask and should not be running this place alone. I don't know what to say, I guess it really isn't her fault as management should provide help. Quite sad really. Be prepared to wait forever. read more

Only 1 person runs the lab so it will take you at least 2-3 hours to complete your lab work. This one individual draws the blood and checks in patients. I was in line from 7am and got out by 10:15. Customer service is horrible! Additionally the lab was unsanitary. Urine samples were left out on the receptionists/ secretary desk where you sign in. For my understanding biohazard material should be stored properly away from others. Lastly, they charge you extra fees if you use a credit card so use cash. read more

Horrible customer service. Only one person working. Lab technician favors other people on the list... so it's not first come first serve. Don't come here! read more

Horrible experience, first they don't offer appointments so I had to miss work. Then they had someone helping out, ONE PERSON to attend hundreds of people. She couldn't open the lock, we waited 20 minutes before another office finally helped her. They saw she was struggling and offered no help. I'm so annoyed, THEY NEED TO OFFER APPOINTMENTS read more

Of course this business is unclaimed. Who ever owns this business is too cheap to hire another person to help the ONE only worker who is the clerk and phlebotomist. It's not fair to the people of the community to come for a simple blood draw to sit and wait so long in order for some business to profit from something that is medically necessary. The bathroom has no soap and no hand sanitizers. They use the same rubber to draw blood. I think the state needs to come out and check this place out. read more

I called sun lab to ask a simple question. The woman on the phone had the worst attitude I have ever experienced just for asking a very simple question. I called her out on her attitude and she immediately calmed down. I guess she thinks she can speak to anyone how she likes without them returning the same attitude. Try to avoid this place if possible. If not, don't let them run their mouth on you. Stand your ground. read more

Why can't they hired more people to work here? Having one person run the whole lab is a bit ridiculous being the clerk and the phlebotomist. Talking about saving money but doing a disservice to your patients. Companies now a days do not care about anything but making money to fill their greedy pockets! read more

I just called Sun clinical laboratories to get the cash discount prices for some lab work and I was EXTREMELY disappointed!!!! The two ladies I spoke with both REFUSED to give me prices over the phone, when just five minutes before I called two other labs and they listed the prices for me one by one!!!!!!! These people are HIGHLY unprofessional and DO NOT know how to deal with customers in a proper manner!!!!! I will not be going to this lab!!!!!!!!!! Take your business elsewhere!!! read more

Very good service and quick even though there is only one people work there. I went to another sun lab to do a two hours sugar test. After waiting for 40 minutes, they told me they didn't have time for me. They sent me to this lab. The minute I went In there, there were a lot people waiting and I told her I need at least two hours. She immediately arranged me to get blood draw first because she tried to let me finished the test before the lab was closed. then I waited there for two hours to do another two blood draw. She explained to other patients why she had to do that and thanks for their understanding. Thanks her very much. read more

Prior to coming in I gave them a call to see if an appointment was necessary. I had to call multiple times before my call finally went through only to be greeted by a rude tone and told no appointment was needed. I came that same day and was told that the test I needed done could only be performed M-F. Reading the comments it seem idiotic that only one person runs the whole lab and then be told that a specific test is only performed certain days of the week. The weekend passes and I come in; there's a few other people ahead of me and the woman is tending to someone. I'm standing there stupidly waiting to be told something (eg "please sign in and we'll get to you shortly"). I end up taking a seat and the person next to me rudely tells me to sign in- I sign in and take a seat again. The woman finishes talking to the man and I get up and try to on hand her the power given to me and she rudely tells me it's not my turn and that my paper is to be submitted when I'm seen. Overall the communication skills of this woman are quite terrible. More people definitely need to be hired in order for them to run and efficient business. read more
