Fasted all day to get routine bloodwork but just got a sign the the Quest on Huntington, Arcadia that says that they are permanently closed. States to go to the Quest on Duarte rd, Aracdia nearby. Since I got there early , I went to Huntington and there is no appointment found, I went on standby waitlist just see to see after 2 hours, no movement. Everyone in the lobby were super upset and it felt very uncomfortable with so many frustrated, upset, vocal people. It felt like DMV, where the workers are indifferent and not trying to help. The lady indicated that corporate knows about the permanent closure of their facility and still books patients. I suggested they notify corporate again to fix that to avoid hundreds of people scheduling appointments unaware they're booking for a closed facility.

11.1o.2o23 This place used to be so much more lively and better customer service 3 years ago. Now, the front desk was blocked off. You will need to sign in either if you have an appt or walk-in at the kiosk they have in the front. So, there was no customer service in the front. They were definitely short staffed. There were only two nurses routining and taking all the patients. So, they weren't really having it. I'm sure they were tired, but I think they should still put more care on the patients because patients aren't the tools they should put their anger and frustration on. Let's just say this was the most painful blood draw I have had. It was ok when she put it in. It hurt but is acceptable, but I know some nurses do such a great job that it has absolutely no pain. I wonder how they do that because you're still getting poked by a needle. Anyway, it was when she took it out that hurt like crap. It felt like she didn't do it at the angle she put it in, so I felt like she had just forced it out. Picture for reference and heads up. The nice thing is they show the people that has an appt vs stand by aka walk-ins on the TV. It doesn't show your full name but you can tell it's your name and your place in line. I got lucky that 3 walk-ins in front of me didn't show up, possibly got tired of waiting, so I didn't wait for 5 hours like one of the nurses said, walk-in could be 5mins to 5 hours wait. I waited close to 1.5 hours with 6 people in front of me. I even got time to get a drink nearby.

Does blood work for a physical requires insurance ? If not, what is the cost?

They will take you insurance and your doctor’s order for blood work before they take your blood. I don’t know if they take cash payment.

But this place will exceed your expectations. It's very clean and well kept when you walk the hallways. The residents are taken care of well and you can see them walking and visiting each other. I was happy to see so many residents smiling as well as staff members interacting so much. My mom has gotten great care here and they always keep me in the loop of any changes in her health. They call me right away if anything urgent happens. My mom has been very stable and very well taken care of here. My recovery has required extended care and personalized Therapy, and I've been extremely satisfied with the support I've received here. the staff has been professional, kind, and attentive, especially the therapy team who have kept me motivated and focused. The facility has also handled all my follow-up doctor appointments, and transportational needs, keeping I'm actually thinking of taking one of the patients here for my family informed every step of the way. Overall, the care here has been excellent. I would highly recommend Rosemead Healthcare Center to anyone needing short term rehab rehabilitation after surgery.

Care from male lab tech was friendly, but subsequent female techs were cold. Had bloodwork done, came to find out the machines are not calibrated enough or well enough resulting in a catastrophic misdiagnosis that I dealt with for 9 months. I was number 34. When they call your number you give your ID and Insurance card. They give you a cup and you do your urine sample in the public restroom outside the clinic and you HOLD ON TO IT. Then they call your name to go in for your blood to be drawn. Start to finish, I was there for exactly 2 hours. They were organized in the way they handled the huge amount of people. They had 2 nurses inside taking blood. One nurse handling the intake. And another doing Misc organizing/managing. I have gone here in the afternoon once before and it was very quick and everything was done inside the clinic. I just think Saturday mornings are just extremely busy for them. Having appointments would be helpful, but they do things smoothly for the amount of people they're seeing in a day.

There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between patients. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big, but the lot does get full very quickly since they share the lot with a lot of medical offices. Some parking spots are smaller than others, so watch out! Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, welcoming, informative, and funny. Seriously, from the receptionists to the MRI techs, everyone was phenomenal. I like how the MRI techs walk you through what you'll experience before the exam starts. They also have a changing room / locker room for you to change and leave your stuff in. They have a nice mini waiting room inside with a bathroom and water dispenser once you exit the main waiting room. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum, but they charge 3% if you use your credit card.
