Super easy to check in and there's a screen in the waiting room that tells you how long your wait is (we got in even faster than the time presented). Felt very covid safe, everyone is required to wear masks and you have the option to wait outside too. read more

My family has used them for many years. Their billing department is horrendous! My daughter went for a vitamin D blood test and was charged for the cost $241.00. I have called them 6 times at different months open 3 cases for the same issue, emailed them the proof of explanation from the insurance that reflects that there was no charge that I owed. I even spoke to their supervisor. She was useless because she could not access my emails. Her comment was that it goes to a different department and I just need to wait. I was told by my provider to submit a GBS test at the quest lab myself. Quest has processed all of my labs during my pregnancy and 2 weeks to my due date my provider switched. I physically went to the lab to submit my specimen, explained the situation, and was found in the system. They accepted my specimen in person. I was told by my new provider this morning that quest declined my test. I have called all numbers to this facility and there are only automated call lines. Now 38 weeks pregnant I have to go in person to the lab to find out why it wasn't accepted and be at risk in the pandemic. The call lines are no help for these labs and if I could speak to someone at the office this could be resolved quickly. I am very disappointed with the call system. read more

Absolute worst service. I'm not sure if Caroline is the manager or the one they send out to create conflict with patients in the waiting area. I witnessed her argue with 3 different patients in the 1 hour I was there. Completely wrong way of running an office and treating patients. Very hostile. Had a later appointment but came in early and was put down as walk in. I wasn't told I was put down as walk in until I asked the front desk later. If I was told to come back at the appointment time, I would have been happy to. Asked how long would it be and she said they are short staffed and sorry about that and they are trying their best. Then she called someone else's name and that was it. I only asked a question and it wasn't in a rude tone. I observed she was nicer to others. So I decided to try again and ask her about something, but it was just answered and that's it. Hmm... okay then. Maybe she's busy and rushing? I don't know what is happening at the front desk, but I rather not take it personal. Hopefully, another person won't be treated like how I was treated. It's near the end of the year, so more phlebotomists should be given more time slots to work since many patients want to use their benefits before the end of the year. Noticed one lab station was empty so short one phlebotomists at least. Many phlebotomists need to work more than one job to make a living anyway, so why not help both the employees and the patients. With appointment, I have waited from 8:20am to 10:10am. Three months ago, service and efficiency was top marks with less patients in waiting room. Today, employees look overwhelmed but I know it's not their fault. They need more employees to help with patient flow. read more

I scheduled an appointment for blood/urine test. It was needed for my new life insurance that apparently uses Quest Diagnostics for those tests. They offered to come to my house or I could go over to their local office. Since I work from home, I told them it would be nice to take a short break and go over to their office. I was 12 minutes late, there was no one at the front desk. I could only check-in via the kiosk and I received a message on the screen right away that since I was there more than 10 minutes late, I had to reschedule. I was livid but I caught attention of some employee passing by and I even told her that it was me who was doing them a favor by showing up at their office. I was still told that there was nothing she could do and I had to reschedule. It's funny how it works, every time you're late for your appointment, it's automatically your fault, but hey if you show up on time and then wait another 30-40 minutes, that's perfectly fine. Remember it's a 2 way street. Now I will schedule an appointment for in home visit, but you better make sure your personnel shows up within 10 minutes of the appointment, otherwise we are going to re-schedule. Pretty clean, customer service was good. The wait was not long at all maybe 30 minutes without appointment. The man who drew my blood was very nice and it was not painful at all. The waiting area is very spacious and I like that the seats are not crammed together like in other labs I have been to. There is a TV in waiting area. I came in today at about 11:35 to get blood work done. The lady was rude and short from the get-go. She called my name and pronounced my first name wrong and I corrected her and she just gave me a weird look and said yeah. She just seemed like she was in a rush and hated being there and was in a really bad mood. I told her that I'm scared of giving blood and that sometimes I faint and she was like well then you should of come earlier because we don't have time to deal with that today and we would've had more time if you came earlier cause we're closing soon. no sympathy no I'm sorry no are you OK when she was giving me blood and I was upset nothing she was just awful about it. I didn't know that they were closing at 12 and I understand but the way she went about it was so rude. If She was nicer about it and explained it like a normal person, I would understand but just her demeanor was just so rude and offputting. I have avoided getting bloodwork done for years because I'm so scared of getting blood work done because of a bad experience I had a long time ago and I haven't gotten bloodwork done in so long. I forgot that there was a urine test before and I didn't have to go to the bathroom so when I gave her my urine back. I apologized and said I'm sorry it's probably not enough. I said haven't gave blood in a long time and forgot that there was a urine test so I told her if you give me some water then In a couple minutes I'll be able to go to the bathroom for the urine test. And she was like we are closing at 12, it is 1155 I don't have time to wait around for you. I would've gone to the bathroom and the whole thing would've took me tops five minutes so she would've been out of there at 12 and everything would've been fine and she could have been out by 12 or god forbid it was couple minutes,it's not the end of the world.. she was just so rude about everything and she said that she didn't have time to wait around for me which is unprofessional to me. I can't believe how rude someone can be. so now I have to come back to do the urine sample which I understand about time and closing but she just didn't need to be so rude. Super Disappointed in this experience. You should hire kinder more caring nurses that actually care about what they're doing and how the patient is feeling rather than if they're gonna be closing a couple minutes late. read more

I just had an awful experience. My phlebotomist appeared to be very inexperienced. Bania A. (Arcadia Location) stuck my left arm and was unsuccessful after examining both arms and she searched, driving the needle further into my arm to no avail. She then decided to try my right had. The same thing happened until I suggested that I schedule another appointment due to the lack of success and the pain. The tape popped off my left arm covering the insert wound and as I left, she didn't bother covering the wound that she had just made in my hand. I will be making another appointment at another location only until my doctor advises if I can go elsewhere. read more

I've been to this place 3 times, and they don't care for the patients. Just rude staff. I'm just really disappointed. The second time I went, I told the girl that I didn't like needles. I should give it 0 points, liar. This place is a liar. I worked in from 9.20am until 11.30pm. The staff was very rude. They kept calling patients for appointments and ignored the people queuing up in the lobby. We asked if there was any work in. , a lady said yes, you may wait for five minutes, or you may wait for 3 hours. When I signed in, the machine showed that there were eight people in front of me who had to wait for an hour. I think this is a scam, deceiving customers into spending nothing in the lobby. Wait for a few hours and treat us like monkeys. If there is a shortage of people, let us know clearly. I specifically asked for leave to wait for the examination. I am really angry. I am a pregnant woman who has been waiting for the examination on an empty stomach and dare not go to the toilet. , they don't care about the patient's feelings at all. I made an appointment for a Saturday at 10:15 am. This place is packed!!! My last count was 16 people in the waiting room. They have stacked the chairs up in the corner to reduce the crowd however it is pointless if they allow that many people in the room. On a positive note, my phlebotomist was AMAZING! This quest location is terrible! I scheduled an appointment for a pregnancy glucose test two weeks in advance. Got there and they were running late. They pulled me in at 1150 (20 minutes passed my scheduled time) told me they couldn't take me because it was too close to their lunch break!!! Unbelievable!!! I now go to the Glendora location. Much bigger, nicer staff and more adequately staffed so they are normally on time and organized. read more

Our children's phlebotomist was so comforting with them and there was not one tear shed. I was dreading this day and couldn't believe how smooth it was. i went to do the blood test at this Quest location. The lady who draw blood from me polk me for 3 times. It is super bad !!!!!!!!! This is not the first time Quest staff did this on me. I believed they hire no experience staffs to draw blood. I feel so fear, so bad!!!!!!! She search for 2 minutes still can't find the blood vessel. I dont know why she still polk me if she is not sure. Eventually, she polk me three times but still can't make it. She asked for another lady do it for me. She can find my blood vessel easily. I feel like I want to hire a lawyer to sue Quest. I warned her dont polk me if she is not sure. Tell your family doctor DO Not send patients to Quest to do blood test again. read more

I came on a Tuesday at 10:30 am without an appointment, walked up to the counter, and checked in with a tablet. On the television I noticed my name was in a queue, with the wait time of 5 minutes. It was accurate because within 5 minutes I was called in. My blood was drawn by a very nice lady and all together I was done in 10 minutes. This quest is efficient and I would definitely go back. It has been about 10 or so years since I'd been to the 612 building and I needed to make an appointment for my mother. My sister and I each tried to make the appointment on the phone...TWICE. This is an automated system (Hello? Can anyone actually pick up a phone at businesses to make appointments for patients, anymore?!), and when it got to the point where we had to spell the last name, no can do. The automated system couldn't understand us. Each of us tried two times. The automated system basically hung up on us on the third try of spelling the last name. I could not have said the letters any clearer. In case you weren't aware, QD, there's a GLITCH in your automated phone system that you need to fix! After not being able to get an appointment by phone, my sister drove to the office to make an appointment in person and was told we were using the wrong phone number to make the appointment, gave her a piece of paper with an 888 number on it (did not help her make an appointment), and we tried the 888 number and guess what?! It was the same automated system that we called in the first place using the original phone number. Then we tried to do an online appointment. It couldn't have been more UN-USER friendly. It took me 4-5 tries to figure out how to click the time we wanted to book. By the time I figured out how to make an online appointment, my sister decided to take my mom without an appointment (and doesn't recommend that option). I've never had this kind of problem at this office the few times I've gone there, but if I have to go again, it will not be at 612 Duarte, in Arcadia. read more

I was sent here by the first Quest as the test I needed had to be taken after 2pm for better results and they closed at 12pm. Arrived a few minutes before 2pm and was instantly greeted by a nice older gentleman. As soon as 2pm hit, I was called back by Alma who was gentle and kind. Check in was easy and you can see where you are on the list to the right of the TV screen. Very easy. You made my 85 year old father waiting in the lobby for 2 hours! Unacceptable! Why, especially during this uncertain state of the coronavirus, would you have an elderly person wait and potentially be infected by all the people coming in and out of your facility, for 2 hours?? This is concerning on many levels. You even have a sign on your counter that says if you haven't been helped in 30 min come talk to us and yet my father went up on multiple occasions to no avail. Checking someone in and processing paperwork should not take 2 hours before being seen. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION if you care about your loved ones!!
