I've had one too many terrible experiences at this Labcorp location. The older lady likes to use the largest needle to draw blood and then proceeds to lean on the armrest while she's drawing blood (which hurts!). TWICE I've had them totally skip over and NOT draw all of the requested lab tests. One was really important so I've been almost obsessively checking, calling and messaging Labcorp about it. Then I find out from my gynecologist office that it was never drawn!!! read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a laboratory. The staff were extremely rude, irritated, and aggressive, with absolutely no sense of responsibility. The samples were left unattended, and the place was overcrowded and disorganized. They clearly do not value people's time. Even though I had an appointment, I still had to wait for hours. Avoid this location if you can (if you are walking in) I came in and checked in at10.30 and still waiting and now it's over 2p.m. The guy told me there was 8 People in front of me at 11.30 and almost 20 peoole went in and I'm still waiting. Very inefficient and people just skipping you once someone with appointment comes in. It's not like they have 4 rooms 2 for appointments and 2 for walk-ins. I checked in, 10 minute wait cool. The tech I had was the best ever. I'm sometimes a hard-stick (difficult to draw blood and painful) and she helped me to locate my good veins wow. She poked me didn't even feel it and got blood right away. I learned about 10 years ago if you're a hard-stick, drink warm water on the way to lab. When you get there while you're sitting move your legs and pump your arms. Works every time. P.S. I had a few appointments at the Arcadia office. I heard the staff was very rude and impatient with elderly people. When it was my turn, the phlebotomist, Teresa, pricked my arm five times and punctured my veins, leaving bruises that took a long time to heal. So I decided to make another appointment, because that office is close to my home, but when I checked in, I asked the receptionist if I needed to get tested on the correct day, as my period was about to start. She replied that she didn't know. I asked her if she hadn't gone to school, since she would need to know the proper preparation for drawing blood. She arrogantly replied that she hadn't. I also spoke to the manager, and she tried to justify everything by saying that they only drew blood and weren't doctors, so they didn't have to know that. read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All patients are expected to wear a mask. All of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I'm writing to complain about the staff responsible for blood work. I had bad experience at different Labcorp locations. It's dissatisfied for the safety and hygiene for the blood work procedure. The elderly staff who helps me for the blood work lick her saliva to turn the document pages when she check me in. Then she folded the gauze to cover my injection site after the blood draw but don't forget she just licked her saliva. This is not the first time I've seen for that so I don't want to keep quiet anymore. During the procedure, I found she accidentally dropped the glove on the floor and grabbed it back to her pocket which is full of unused gloves instead of throw it away. I worried about if I will get infected and especially when we are low immunity. Today, I had my blood work at other Labcorp location. It's very dissatisfy for the staff who did the blood work for me regardless for the short staff, and the waiting time is taken longer which the receptionist told us. The attitude from the staff who did the blood draw for me is so rude and neglect my pain. She wrap and tie super tight on my arm two times, makes me screaming out in pain and said she couldn't see my vein if the bandage wrapping is not super tight. Then she looks like annoyed by my painful screaming and insert the needle makes me very painful again. This is not the first time I have the blood draw experience, so I know my vein is visible as many medical staffs said. I never have such painful experience like this time. I understand that it is short staff and maybe work overloaded for her. However, she should not venting emotions to the patients and it's inhumane and disqualify as a medical worker. read more

For the third time, the front desk claimed my lab orders were not in the system. I had to leave since there was nothing I could do. I inquired from my doctor and the assistant confirmed the lab orders were sent electronically. I called back the lab and was told the system was down. I could have understood that if they said that in the beginning. They tried to gaslight me by changing their story. They probably didn't want to admit that they didn't do a thorough search. I'm not going back to this lab. This is probably what they want. Less patients, less work, no wage reduction! Win-win for them! read more

I love this location because it's one of the few walk-in locations. Other labcorps you need an appointment and they are always booked at-least a week out. I arrive when they open at 7:30, check into the keypad and that's it. I find that they run efficiently here and all of the employees are skilled at catching the vein the first time making it quick and painless. read more

The lady at the front desk was rude and inpatient, who claimed I was 15 mins late after I received the texts, but I was at the clinic within 10 minutes of receiving the texts. I've been here twice and both experiences have been similar and very different than other labcorp offices in the area. Basically, it feels like a mess. Went to this location in the morning on 3/6/25 and, IMO overall this place is the absolute worst. Waiting times take forever. The front office staff (male) was very curt with us and demanded we pre-pay an estimated copay /co-insurance. Also, clearly there are no 'sick patient protocols,' (i.e. every time we've been there, there's at least one patient coughing up a lung, with an apparent 'no masks required' policy (or enforced, if they do have one). But of course, combined with their no mask required when you're sick policy, you're forced to sit in with the sick infected patients, with actual signs posted telling you that you can't wait outside of their office by the elevator away from the sick people. So essentially if you're not sick when you get there, you will be by the time you leave. I have been to the 301 Huntington lab also , and wow what a contrast. The 301 Huntington Lab is run so much more efficiently and professionally . The 622 lab could definitely take some lessons from them. read more

My son had an appointment for a blood draw this morning. Teresa was his phlebotomist and she was skilled and friendly. All done within a couple of minutes. The check in process was easy and convenient. I clicked 'check in' on the link that was in the confirmation text that LabCorp sent. During the covid era, they ask that we wait for a text back before entering the office to limit the number of people inside the waiting room. We waited in the car and within 5-10 min, we got a text saying 'come on in'. Easy peasy read more

My mom got her blood drawn on 5/30. A huge bump showed up after got home. The elastic tape is so tight that the area around are purple and green. It has been 9 days and her arm is still bruised and expanded, the needle point is still swollen. Went to the office and asked if we should be concerned or see a doctor. the front lady says it's normal... how could this be normal. I ask if this happens to lots of people, she says yes. I would not recommend this lab. The phlebotomist who did the blood draw lacks of experience and should be trained before this happens to the next patient. I would've rate 0 star. read more

Made an appointment online and arrived there a little early (as instructed). Checked in myself through the electronic kiosk (scan your drivers license, quick and easy). Waiting room is an ok size but with COVID restrictions and volume of people waiting it felt full / a little uncomfortable. They have text notifications etc so you don't have to wait in there. As I stepped outside, I thought I heard my name called and poked my head back in but the lady at the desk wasn't looking, so I started to head back down to the lobby. Took a few steps and got an automated text message telling me to head back as they were almost ready for me. So that made me look like a weirdo, bouncing in and out of the room. Found an empty seat, within 5-10 minutes they asked for my Dr paperwork. Lady at the desk isn't excessively friendly (or friendly at all really; mask doesn't hide the unsmiling eyes) but I don't care; my interaction is limited and goes without a hitch. Handed paperwork over and within another 5-10 minutes I was invited inside to get my blood drawn. Technician was a little cursory / abrupt but professional and efficient. Possibly French. Found a vein quickly and took blood without issue. Needed to provide a urine sample (surprised me; luckily full bladder) and directed me to the restroom, pointing out tray to leave the sample. And that was it. Pretty quick, all things considered. I was seen before some others who were waiting longer because they were walk-in appointments. I know this because there's a big screen showing abbreviated names of those checked in, color coded to show who made appointments or not. The majority were walk-ins. Don't be a walk-in. My advice would be to create an appointment online and save yourself a lot of hassle. Sign up with your cell phone number / email and make the check in process / notifications easier. Oh, and make sure you fast 8-12 hours; I was declined service at another location due to not fasting (Dr's sheet didn't indicate I had to..? But really I should have known!) and this was the earliest new appointment / location I could find, but at 2.15PM - fasting until This late in the day sucks; plan ahead!! read more

This Lab Corp is horrible. I had the displeasure of going here as opposed to Quest and it was bad. There were only 2 people working or so that is what we were told. The girl at the front desk would not answer any questions. She was so rude telling everyone including me to sign in and have a seat, My question was simply what was the wait time because I was a walk in, I knew I'd have to wait so all I wanted was an idea of how long the wait would be. 2 hours later I walked out, And I will not return to this lab EVER! read more
