Eating on a keto diet is fairly easy at a restaurant that serves breakfast. But, it is always helpful when a Keto menu item is already on the menu. Abby's serves their Keto meal with 3 eggs and a choice of breakfast meat - I chose the sausage patty. I have never felt so disrespected in a restaurant as I did right now having lunch with my fiancee. Our server was great! He gave a great recommendation for food and was on top of things. My issue was when I was trying to cash out. A lady server was cashing out a customer and I stood behind her waiting to pay. An elderly gentleman had just walked up and the cashier called him by name motioned for him to come over and took his tab and card. She then looked at me asked if I had a card I said yes. She looks at the server I had who was close to her and told him to ring me up on another register. It was rude. Just because I am not a regular does not mean I can be shoved to the side. Now im feeling like it's possible race thing as I'm Hispanic and she was white who took the white gentleman while I got pushed to the Hispanic server. It may not be that way but perception is everything. This literally makes me not want to come back. I even told my fiancee I didn't ever want to come back because I felt so disrespected. Horrible feeling considering our meals were delicious. We love mom n pop shops for the amazing experiences and love that gets put into food. But she made it sucky. read more

First the wait wasn't long considering it was 9:30 on a Sunday morning and the waiting area was full when we got there. Definitely comparable to the rest of the breakfast places around. The food was awesome. We couldn't decide what to get so we got the cinnamon roll French toast and the chicken fried steak and shared. We also got a cinnamon roll and a coffee cake. Our plan was to nibble on the cinnamon roll and coffee cake before we got our food. Things did not work out as planned. The coffee cake was amazing (definitely rivals Clarkie's cinnamon streusel muffin) and both that and the cinnamon roll were so light and fluffy. The frosting on the cinnamon roll is pretty sweet, so get some of their cinnamon butter on it ( if you're getting this item you're definitely not counting calories anyway). The chicken fried steak was tender and crispy, the cinnamon roll French toast came with their cinnamon butter and didn't even need syrup. The over medium eggs were done well (if you order those you know how hard it is to get them done well). In short (lol) everything was delicious. Now the service. Like I said, wait time wasn't bad and once we were seated we were helped very quickly. Jenny was wonderful and super helpful with recommendations. We waited for about 20 minutes but the food was worth the wait. The best thing about this experience is Jenny. I hope anyone reading this will be so privileged to sit in Jenny's corner. Service is everything when it comes to the food industry. Jenny was so polite, and has the most pleasant demeanor. Her smile makes you feel like you're the only person that she's taking care of. She wears a service apron that has a lot of pins/buttons on them. One of her pins says "Be a kind human". She lives up to that statement. Found this little spot on Yelp! Yelpers really came through in this one. Stopped by on our way to Oak Glen for their Apple Butter Festival, and sure glad we did. Our party of four had the 1-1-1, country breakfast, country fried steak, and I had the eggs Benedict with a side order of the biscuits with gravy. Everything came out timely and very tasty. Cannot beat these prices... seriously. Stephanie was our server and consistently checked on us--made sure everything was right, coffee mug was full, replenished my hot water with lemon, and our selection of hot sauce. What a great little hidden gem in Yucaipa! I was in town for a pickle ball tournament and had some time to spare to get some breakfast. I usually don't post one visit reviews but I may never get to this place again since I'm never in town. So here's my one plate review: The homemade corned beef hash. Probably one of the best I've ever had. Seriously. Just seasoned perfectly and cooked with a perfect crisp. We went here for breakfast. I had the California eggs Benedict which was amazing, my sister had the vegetable omelette and agreed that the food was delicious. Our waitress was really attentive to our coffee cups as well as making sure we had everything we needed. The tables were clean as well as the restaurant itself.
