It's family owned and we were visited by the cutest little guy who is the owner's grandson. The place is overly decorated, but in good way. The owner changes decor based on the season. Super cute spot with vintage vibes. Breakfast was bacon and eggs. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, crisp and seasoned well. Eggs also perfectly cooked. Bacon was yummy. This restaurant is adorable, but that's where the buck stops. I came in with some girl friends on a Saturday morning. We were seated immediately and asked what drinks we wanted. I ordered a coffee. Our drinks came after ten minutes of waiting and mine tasted like warm dish water. That should have been our first warning to leave. We then waited another ten minutes before they asked us what we wanted to order. I ordered the chili relleno. The dish was fabulous, but it took over 45 minutes for our food to come. If a dish takes that long, a warning would have been nice. There were two waitresses working at the time, but they barely came to check in on our party. read more

Cute little place right downtown. Staff is friendly. I like how they have an option for hosting events. It did feel crowded with all the decorations. Limited seating so make sure you get there early. Lasagna was much larger than I expected and it tasted good. I feel the bread has room for improvement. I really liked the carrot cake and suggest ordering a slice! read more

My husband and I took our daughter to Granlund's on Mother's Day. We hadn't been there for years. We walked in a quaint delightful place that we remember. I normally take pictures of our food for reviews, but I got busy and forget. We all had sandwich's which were very good. It took a little while to get which our good but it was ok. I ordered a San Francisco melt. The sandwich was delicious. The atmosphere reminds me one of those old Americana houses. The interior had a great ascetic. My only issue was the restaurant does feel small and crowded, but doesn't take away from the feel and the comfort foods. I a nice spot to visit if want a good sandwich! read more

The restaurant is super cute and decorated for the holiday/season, I really LOVE this! They really go all out on the decorations. Friendly staff is always a plus and this spot had the best service! We met the owner & it really is a nice touch to have anyone who runs a restaurant, come out to see how you liked your food and your visit. They're only open for breakfast & lunch, we'll need to come back as we only tried the breakfast and it was delicious! I had the eggs Benedict & my fiancé had eggs (cooked to perfection) and bacon. Restaurant is quaint and beautifully decorated- they also serve an afternoon tea which I feel it's probably more suited for. Service was slow- wait staff seemed inexperienced. I ordered eggs Benedict which I had to send back cause the eggs were extremely over cooked. Meals came out slowly and some guests were almost finished before others received their meals. Was here a year ago and gave it 5 stars but I will never go back here again. Food was still good but I have 2 complaints about the owner. I ordered a sandwich and opted for jalapeño on it that was an extra 1.50. When I received my sandwich it had Ortega chilies on it which was another option. I finally got the owners attention and said I had asked for jalapeños she said no, you asked for Ortega I said NO I asked for Jalapeños. She left to go get them and my friend said you definitely said Jalapeños! When she came back she very roughly put them on the table and walked away without a word. The second complaint I have about her is the 3 of us asked for separate checks and when it was time to pay, she had it on one. I reminded her and she rudely replied, "well you can figure it out if you have cash." Very bad customer service on both issues!!! read more

For a sit down brunch-type meal, the ambiance is charming and quaint - you're enjoying simple, hearty fare in what feels like a museum of Victorian tea sets and flowers. I was both awed and delighted by the discovery. The waitstaff are friendly, and you can tell this is a true mom-and-pop establishment run well and owned by good people. They are happy to answer questions about the tea sets, and told me that they mainly host tea parties - behind the main dinner seating area, there is a lovely tea room. The food and coffee we had was delicious I can't remember what it was I ate but I think it was some kind of Sonoran bake with red sauce and corn tortillas and cheese with house fried potatoes on the side and I am still dreaming about it. I highly recommend this for a refreshing brunch - it may not look trendy but it's got moxie and should be on every locals list to try at least once. read more

What a pleasant surprise this place was. It looks really fancy on the outside. It is really nice on the inside with flowers everywhere. We were the only ones here. The food was crazy good. I really tried to find something to nitpick about, but couldn't. The eggs, bacon, potatoes and French toast were all done perfectly. The salsa is crazy good. And the jalapeño cheese toast is really good. The server was very nice. It has a very nice ambiance. Like you are eating in a garden. We both ate for less than $30. Unheard of today. My daughter and I went there for lunch. Place had 3 other parties besides us. 1 more came in after us. After being taken to the farthest table to the back, she gave us menus and left. Not sure if she's a server or the owner. She tended to all 3 other parties, even the man that came after us, but not us. She took the man's drink, took his order, at this point we were done looking at the menu, waited another 5 minutes...we made eye contact and she tended to the other parties again. She didn't even offer us a glass of water. We waited 15- 20 minutes after being seated and since we got completely ignored we left. Perhaps she was busy, overwhelmed...I don't know but for her to take the time to bring that man his drink (ice tea) and take his order and he came in AFTER US is completely rude. read more
