We really love cornerstone in Redlands so I expected the same from here. We frequently go to the Redlands location and they out of all the locations, provide the best food and service. IYKYK.. BBQ isn't cheap but if the service is right and the food is good, take my money. We came in because I had won an IG raffle and the staff knew nothing about it. That day we said it's ok, we can just buy our dinner because we're hungry and just wanted to try the location out. We spent about $84 for the both of us. Anyways, they did let us know that next time, the prize could be picked up and all would be good. Fast forward- we go again for a $50 gift card and feast. The manager tells us the prize was already picked up and there was nothing she could do. Someone had "pretended" to be me and picked up the prize. She handed me a $25 gift card and said she would give us a sampler. She added fries and some other things but she was not nice about it. Get this- she even took a picture of us which was so weird to me and like why didn't someone do this to the alleged other person... I had the original IG msg and everything to prove I was who I said I was!!!! She in fact did not care. I immediately wanted to leave but my boyfriend said let's give them a chance. I stayed and welp... ALL of the food they brought out was COLD and the chicken tasted old. The fries were the only thing warm and no I didn't bother to mention to the manager, I didn't want to feel disappointed again with her lack of empathy and the lack of professionalism. We took the rest of the uneaten food to go and just paid for the drink & the Brussels my bf ordered. Brussels 9/10. Service - negative 5 Manager- negative 10 Location is good, right in Yucaipa downtown. Unfortunately, we will not be back because of how we were treated by management and the whole win experience. I had a very disappointing experience at Corner Stone BBQ.This was our first time trying this place out and we will not be back. My husband and I sat at the empty bar on a Saturday evening. My husband ordered a beer and asked if they had non alcoholic beer for me to which the bartender( the older guy with glasses) said NO rudely. So I asked for a water instead. We then waited atleast 5 minutes to be given a menu by a different waiter. When we asked if we could order our food, the bartender snapped at me and said, I asked if you wanted a drink first. (Mind you I had asked for a non alcoholic so I wasn't drinking) The bartender seemed unable to manage making drinks and taking our food order and it wasn't very busy in the restaurant. At one point there were 3 people behind the bar arguing over something and we were still be ignored waiting to order food. After being talked to and treated that way we decided to leave and went to Rebels. When we told everybody we were leaving behind the bar, they all had a shock of look like why are you leaving.... There was no reason for the bartender to respond rudely or even make us wait when we were the only 2 patrons at the bar. Good customer service goes a long way, and this experience left me feeling very unwelcome. I hope that bartender improves his customer service and communication because the way we were treated was disappointing. I also hope whatever manager was on that evening knows that we were not treated very well. Brian the bar tender is awesome! Great service. The brisket from what I got to taste it was delicious. The tri tip was very good. Had the pork ribs instead of the brisket since they sold out. Had the corn salad, Mac n cheese, corn bread, potato salad, and beans. All was good. The whole spot is very good. The acoustics are good inside. The spot is really simple. The bathroom decor is fun. The hallway to the bathroom has some cool murals. The banana pudding was very good too. Overall we will be back. Especially for the old fashions. Came across this gem on our way back and wow, crazy good BBQ that far exceeded my expectations. Opted for Holy Trinity, which comes with ribs, briskets, two sausages, two sides (selected beans and corn salad) and rolls, every single item is great! Ribs and briskets are juicy and very flavorful, sausage has a nice kick. Note food portion is generous. Staff is extremely nice and attentive. I left without my credit card and the nice waitress came scurrying out before I drove off. Looks like they have three locations (Redland, Yucaipa and Beaumont). I went there on Saturday afternoon around 12:30, and I thought the place would be busy. We were only one seated, besides the 3 people at the bar. We order the brisket, tri tip, and baked beans. My son ordered the pulled pork, pork belly and Mac and cheese. The tri tip was dry and warm, the brisket was warm but tender. My goodness the food here is so DELICIOUS!!! We could smell the heavily aroma as we walked up. Our server was great suggesting what was most delicious and she was right!! We had the pork belly (that melts in your mouth) and brisket (oh so tender) with Mac and cheese (oh so creamy) and brisket baked beans (To die for!!) The side dishes were very good. The meat was not good quality -ribs were extremely tough and inedible, and brisket was so fatty and burnt. It was expensive for what you got, but the worst part was the server who was expressionless and tried to overcharge three couples for sodas that weren't ordered!! It was a scam. We own a business in town and have to order food quite often. We finally gave cornerstone a chance and Wow! We ordered the Family Style large feast. We are not huge on pork so we replaced the pulled pork with brisket. We got to try the ribs, the chicken, the trip tip , and brisket and they were all delicious. For sides we did macaroni and brisket baked beans which were perfection. For desert we tried the banana pudding and it was divine. The restaurant is really nice, can't really review the in dinning service as we have only ordered takeout so far but the woman who took my order was friendly and funny. I heard that they make the best breakfast burritos so my niece and nephew are visiting and we decided to go this morning, I will never order breakfast burrito from there again I mean, I maybe took two bites my niece ordered the omelette, which was pretty good and she ordered hashbrowns, and the hash brown she got looked like the one you get from McDonald's‍‍‍ yeah no maybe the barbecue for dinner ribs or chicken but not breakfast is not good there I would not recommend it. I was so disappointed by that breakfast burrito.. but the service was quick the waitress the young girl she was so sweet , we definitely left a tip for her because of the service she gave us, but not because of the food or the breakfast and I'm giving it three stars. As always the BBQ is spot on, I cannot say anything but...great food. I want to be clear, the food is excellent... This is their first attempt at a restaurant and they have missed the mark on a few things. They serve rolls with the meal, no butter, we had to ask for it. They do not stock even one, non-alcoholic beer (they missed 3 sales because of that). The Mac/cheese is very cheesy but needs seasoning (salt) to taste the cheese. There is no salt or pepper on any table, we had to ask. They serve a large portion of fries, with 2 tiny tear open packages of ketchup...not even enough for 1/8 of the fries. Put ketchup bottles on the table with all the bbq sauces. Really hoping they will see this and take our suggestions. read more

I came in for lunch today and tried the brisket and tri-tip with the brisket barbecue beans. The brisket was very good. I enjoyed it very much. However, the tri-tip was not. The flavor was decent but it was cut with the grain. I know tri-tip is one of those more difficult cuts to carve properly because the grain changes halfway through it. But the pieces I had were cut with the grain and were rather tough, but the taste was good. The brisket beans were spot on. I will try this place again and see what some of the other meats are like. read more

Ghost sauce is mid as heck. The ribs were very good, meat was soft but didn't just fall off the bone which is great. But the Brisket was burnt. Not smoky. BURNT. Turned to dust in my mouth to the point I finished my drink before I finished my meat. Tri tip was moist and soft but had no flavor . This restaurant has changed it's name from "Klüddes Smokehouse & Saloon" to "Cornerstone Barbeque". That said, the ambiance and basic menu remains pretty much unchanged. I still find the manner in which they serve food (especially steaks & meat dishes) atop a piece of paper on a tray vs. on a dish, irritating. I find it impractical to place a steak atop a piece of paper, such that as you attempt to cut the meat (or burger) with a serrated knife, your knife shreds the paper beneath, resulting in the kife catching & paper becoming 'one with your steak'. As far as the service is concerned, it's a small restaurant, so, if it's not busy (a good likelihood) service is good. read more
