The blades are really worn down and the bushings on the front wheels retaining bolts are cracked broken with pieces missing. Now with it stalling after running for a few seconds, it looks like it was gearing up to be in the shop a lot. So today I had this grand plan of making stops at three different locations to compare models and pricing of mowers. As luck would have it, our first stop was our only stop. Tractor Supply in JC was it. As I was looking over the mowers and popping open the filters and lids, an employee came over on his forklift. He could see I was seriously shopping. He was real knowledgeable about the mowers and the differences between them. Turns out he is the one who puts them together when they get delivered to the store. He also told us if there were any issues, bring the mower back so the can affect any repairs and make it right. What can I say? The price was average for this type of a Zero Turn mower. It was also very sturdy with upgrades that make the work easier to get done. We've had nothing but great service from this location, so I decided not to waste the rest of the day looking and ultimately coming back here, so we bought the thing and they held it while I drove home to get the trailer. When I got back, there it was waiting and ready for me to load it up and haul it home. We really appreciate how the staff all take their work here to the next level. They all work as if the store was owned by them personally and they want to take care of their customers.

If Lumber Liquidators can't guarantee a delivery date, or if they continue with subtle suggestions to switch to another cheaper quality product and they claim "we can most likely get this in a couple weeks" when the product you wanted is much higher quality, and currently on sale...that should be a huge red flag. Consider the following: I asked the salesman for an installation price. He told me $3.69 per square foot which I thought is a good deal since other local contractors had quoted me $4.00 per square foot. So I paid a $25 estimate fee which I normally don't do because honestly...that should be part of any contractors cost of doing business. Sure, it's refundable if you use that contractor...win win for them. Lumber Liquidators does install for 3.69 per square foot. But they add in all kinds of EXTRA FLUFF in their itemized estimate that any other contractor would simply include in their bottom line. For a wood floor this included: 1. saw blade 37.99 2. floor care maintenance kit 34.99 3. seam tape 41.93 4. self leveling cement 29.99 5. Adhesive 77.87 5. L-cleats) 94.95 I guess, According to Lumber Liquidators, after paying the $25 estimate fee, you also need to start buying tools for their contractors such as a 10-inch Dewalt Combo Pack saw blade listed on my estimate. LOL When adding in all these extras, the install price was $4.00 per square foot, just like everyone else in town. Don't forget delivery. Lumber Liquidators will deliver. In my case it would have been $375 for 2 pick-up loads of flooring. This is just another nickle and dime strategy to make up for the so-called "low prices." If you install yourself. If Lumber Liquidators has what you want in stock or promise a date it will arrive. If you have a big truck or trailer. If no other wholesaler or even Jerrys has a better price...by all means buy from Lumber Liquidators.

What was supposed to be a three day job has turned into a 10 month ordeal. Our installer, provided by LL Flooring, arrived and tore out the old floor. He then called the next day to tell us he couldn't come to finish the installation because his truck needed to have the distributor replaced. We offered to come and pull his trailer with our vehicle but he said he wasn't comfortable with that. We offered for him to use our tools, which we had everything he needed, but he was not comfortable with that either. His return to finish the job turned into weeks. We had a New Years Eve party planned that we had to have with the floor all ripped up. When the installer finally arrived to finish the job he smelled so bad we couldn't be in the same room with him. We sat upstairs while he worked. At one point we heard something hitting the walls and appliances. We went down to find that his air compressor hose kept flying off the compressor. In the process our walls, cabinets and refrigerator door were gauged. We have sent pictures of the damage to LL Flooring customer service. Besides the damage done to our kitchen the flooring job was done so poorly major portions of the floor required ripping up and replacing. The installer also did no clean up of the work space in the garage, we did all the clean up. He also left glue all over the flooring planks. Every time we spoke with customer service about this job they were of very little help. They spent more time telling us what they could not do rather how the problems could be remedied. After multiple calls and emails ten months later the flooring mess has been fixed. The refrigerator door with the gouge we were told they would figure out how to deal with that damage. That was 9 months ago. Now they just keep putting us off.

Just had one of the *worst* customer service experiences in a long time. I had two items to return -- totaling $48 -- with my receipt. The items were purchased from an Ace store in a different state, just 20 days ago. I was informed that this store is an "independent" store and that they would not be accepting my return because "it's their policy." Top it off the "assistant manager" (guy with a beard) had quite an attitude -- no customer service skills of any kind, rude, curt. I'll not get into it, but suffice to say this guy shouldn't be dealing with the public. He made me feel like a criminal for trying to return something bought in another store. Like I was trying to get away with something. It was surreal. This is contrary to every experience I've ever had at an Ace Hardware store. And any national chain frankly: You bought something in a different store, any store should take it back with a receipt and a smile. This incident reflects poorly on the entire Ace brand. They told me I could call the store where I bought it and mail it to them for a return. Yeah, not helpful. "Ace is the place with the unhelpful hardware man..." They kind of border on, get your shit and get out, while doing it with a smile. I've never been a huge fan of the store, it would get three stars at best. Before they arrived, our family received pillows as a Christmas gift and ended up loving those. When the Mattress Firm pillows were delivered, we never opened the box. Within a few weeks of purchase, I returned to the store to request a refund. Despite the pillows being unopened, unused, and brand new, the store refused to take them back. What made this experience significantly worse was the behavior of the store manager. She was rude, dismissive, and completely indifferent to the financial impact this had on our family. She refused to be helpful in any way, would not allow me to speak with anyone else or escalate the issue, and essentially shut the conversation down in a hostile manner. Being treated with this level of disrespect while being denied a refund for $500 of unopened merchandise is outrageous. There was no empathy, no customer service, and no professionalism shown. I strongly advise anyone considering shopping at this location to be extremely cautious and to get return policies in writing. Based on this experience, I will never shop here again.

Also, a person who needed to sleep in a heads up reclining position would be on a downward slant, which would be uncomfortable and untenable. You couldn't stay there. You would continue to slide downward. When I called the store, the salesperson said I had to pay 250.00, to return the bed. I think this is unfair. The bed is unsafe. He would not give me a supervisor's name or number and says that there is no one in a supervisory capacity he would give me a name or number to. This is wrong!
