We bought a high end washer dryer combo that lasted six months before the motor went out. Kelly's said there was nothing they could do about it. They sent out The Appliance Hospital to do the warranty work. They took quite a long time to come out and evaluate the situation. They said the motor was shot and they would have to order a new one. When the new one came in it was no good so they had to order another one. This time it was the wrong motor. Again we are waiting. This happened three times so far and it's still not working and they in the process of pulling it in and out tore the expensive dryer hose and will not accept responsibility for it and even got rude with my wife over it. We are coming up on three months without our washer and dryer and Kelly's has been no help whatsoever. If I had bought it at Costco I could have at least returned it. read more

Bought a washer and dryer from Kelleys a 1-1/2 years ago and the circuit board went out on the washer. Kelleys will not help in any way. They only rely on you buying extended warranty service and to shuffle you off to some other company to get anything fixed. NEVER BUY from a company that can't stand by their product, and expect that if your appliance goes bad, to wait over a month to possibly get it fixed. At least at costco you can return a defective product and get a new one same day. Screw you kelleys appliance. Bought a New Fisher Paykel refrigerator with a 2 year factory warranty on 11/5/24. Delivery 2 weeks later. They tried to deliver the wrong refrigerator, which was damaged, because they couldn't locate the fridge I actually purchased. They finally found my fridge. It showed up a week later at my house with the compressor platform completely detached so they took it back to the warehouse. Then I talked to sales lady a week later about an update. She said she was getting no cooperation from the worthless manager and she suggested refunding my money. So they did finally refund the purchase on 12/7/24 minus the $69 delivery charge for a fridge they never delivered??. I will never walk into their store again. Of course when your fridge is stocked for an apocalypse and also out of warranty, it decides to die. I noticed that my fridge was not cooling properly last night and moved as much stuff as possible into a cooler. This morning, I called Kelly appliances and spoke with Brian. He was so kind and understanding, gave some great recommendations of appliance repair techs who could take a look. Those recommended techs were just as kind and professional. A tech was able to come out quickly that same morning, but unfortunately, my fridge couldn't be saved. I called Brian back for quotes on a replacement fridge and again, he was so kind and got right on it. He really made it easy figure out which fridges would actually fit my small wall space. Plus, the unit was on sale and he didn't try to push into purchasing anything super expensive. The other hiccup that we ran into was that delivery spots were booked up for a full 2 weeks (which was actually the same when I checked other places). Brian advocated and worked with his supervisor to help me get the fridge delivered in 2 days! Thank you so much for your help Brian! Poor customer service. Ordered a gas stove from Aaron that they needed to order, took a week to get, paid to have it delivered and installed. After it was installed the stove was making a really loud noise from the fan when in use (he whole time), you can hear it throughout the house. I have elderly parents that I care for and I need to be able to hear what is going on and the fan makes it a little more difficult (to some this may be small but when they are a fall risk it is a bigger deal) . I called Aaron to let him know to see what my options were. He spoke with his supervisor and they wanted to send a company out to look at the stove. The company came out took a look then charged us over $100.00 to look at the stove. I called Aaron as we were not told that we would need to pay a service fee; he said that we should have to since it was new and under warranty, he advised he would talk to his manager and call us back Monday as it was Friday 3:30 pm (guessing he did not want to work late). Monday comes and no call so I call and leave him a message on his voicemail. I call Tuesday and I am told he is off on Tuesdays, Wednesday comes along I get a call my phone rings 1 time then hangs up, no voicemail, no call back, I then call him twice and leave messages both times. Thursday comes along I FINALLY get to talk to Aaron and he tells me he called me and my husband multiple times and that he told us that WE needed to talk to the manager. I told him that if that was the case we would of not been leaving him messages and he should of informed us of that when he "called" us one of the many times. He then transferred me to his managers voicemail which I left a message on and yes, I am still waiting to hear back from them. He guided me toward a GE front load washing machine and dryer pair (GFW450SSMWW and GFD45ESSMWW), an Amana ACR2303MFW stove and oven with all dials, and even a Whirlpool WRS571CIHZ side-by-side refrigerator and freezer with an ice machine! Bought and paid for a refrigerator at the beginning of a remodel. I was assured that this was no problem and that they would store my unit until I was ready for it. Months later, I popped in and let them know I was ready for the refrigerator. I was informed that they no longer had my refrigerator as they had sold it to someone else. I bought a refrigerator at Kellys. It was delivered and was installed. The delivery people knew it was not level and just left anyway. I was called the day after to see how the delivery went and told them that it was not level and I was actually afraid to open it because I was afraid it would fall on me. I was told they were terribly busy (wonder if delivering other items is more important than good customer service) but they would get back to me. I have never heard back from them in three months. Finally remembered Kelley's. Called, spoke to JC. Mr Cunningham explained they had several in stock. Drove down. Literally walked out with a new unit in less than 20 minutes, and nearly half the price of the other places. Thanks to my brother who's a former plumber, had it installed and working like perfect 20 minutes after getting it home. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. We live nearby and went in to buy a small refrigerator for a rental property. One of the five or six sales reps standing around told us they had nothing in the size we needed. I commented on a floor model that was perfect, to which he responded, "If we sold our floor models, we'd have no showroom." (I love this logic: 'We need models on the floor to show our customers what we don't have to sell!') Much to our dismay, he offered NO alternative, nor a date when they might have anything that would suit our need... Hi, I recently bought a new Beko Dishwasher at Kelly's. Everyone was very friendly and they even had a great person ready to install my new joy. However, who would ever think the customer, me, would have to ask if the dishwasher actually dried the dishes. No, I didn't find out this dishwasher did not have a dry cycle until it was already installed. I was shown how to close the soap dispenser and the nice stainless insides, the adjustable racks. But never did anyone care to share that the Beko dishwasher runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes and the dishes are still not dry. Yes, they are sanitized by hot, water, but pretty wet when the cycle is done. I know it is buyer beware, but really, do you think you have to ask if a dishwasher has a dry cycle? read more

I recently spent $11k at Kelly's as part of a whole house remodel my husband and I are undertaking. We shopped and bought from Kelly's because they work behind the scenes with our remodeler. Given my druthers, I would have gone to Best Buy; however, a discount was alluded to (and did not manifest!). What did happen was the "senior" salesperson sent an invoice over with pricing. I popped the same models into Best Buy and discovered instantly that the range and dish drawer we wanted carried a rebate amounting to $1,000 off. When I pointed it out to them, the sales person did adjust my invoice (but shouldn't they have pointed it out to ME??). The amount of back and forth (death by 1,000 paper cuts) to finally land the sale was unacceptable, not to mention backwards, in that I was the one striving to close the sale! It is obvious your sales staff don't work on commission (I was actually thinking maybe he already made December's #'s and was trying to push me to January, which extended beyond the offered rebate, to add to MY stress!). The timeline from telling the salesperson what I wanted to actually getting a clean invoice and finally being able to pay Kelly's took TWO WEEKS. I understand people get busy (especially during the holiday season) and had this "senior" salesperson included in the note a blurb about how they're understaffed or maybe it'll take x long for me to get back to you or ANYTHING to have my expectations set, I would not be the frustrated ex-customer writing this review now. As it was, there was a black hole of communication and I could have bought this stuff thousands of times at Best Buy for less money (auto rebate deduction in the cart - genius!) in the same timeframe it took me to close the deal at Kelly's. The benefit of them working behind the scenes with my remodeler left me feeling like I didn't have much of a choice but to accept sub-par customer service. Going forward, I will never again give Kelly's my business nor will I recommend them. Eleven thousand dollars may not be a big sale to Kelly's, but it's a big sale to me, and I prefer to give my money to the local guy working at the local Best Buy as opposed to the local retailer who not only doesn't know how to sell, but isn't good at order taking either. read more

This place has absolutely the worst business model I've ever seen. After several visits to the store to checkout and research appliances, I was ready to order for my new home. We were already in their computer system and there were no questions about what we needed. Placed my order (paid for the appliances) but was told that they could not provide me with a delivery window until after their processing department actually placed the order with the warehouse. Okay, no problem. One day goes by, two days, three days, four days., five days. Still could not give me a date or even a window of when we could expect to receive the appliances. In face, the salesman said he was going on vacation and didn't have time to help figure it out. I cancelled my order with Kelly's and placed it online with a major retailer. Pricing was slightly better and I knew immediately when the items were expected to arrive. I was even given options to suit my specific schedule. Flawless. Several friends in Eugene experienced the same thing and waited months for basic communication. I have no reason to ever shop at Kelly's again. read more

You have brought peace (and quiet) back into my life. The manufacturer was unable to repair the issue of nearly constant loud noises coming from the fridge (growling/grinding/swooshing) and the manufacturer refused to replace it. I reached out to Kelly's for help. When discussing the problem with my sales person she empathized with my situation. She assured me we'd be able to come to an amicable solution and she was right. She was my advocate and worked with her manager to resolve this issue. I was in desperate need of a washer and was able to save up for a speed queen. When my washer was delivered the delivery guys told me that they had dented the front frame but it shouldn't affect the washer at all and that they would report it to the store and I may qualify for a small refund. I called the next day I noticed it was scratched up as well, so I called them to see if they would do anything for the dent and scratches. They told me they could get me $100 back which I thought was amazing. We'll that was back in April. I've called every week since then trying to figure out if I was in fact getting a $100 refund. I speak to someone new every time and get the same run down that they'll get to the bottom of it and call me back Customer service is lacking a lot here, I've been waiting months for a refund or even a phone call back and haven't received either. BUYERS BEWARE! I would probably give 0 stars. Kelly's does a disservice to shopping local. If Kelly's is our option then Big Box Stores are the way to go! At least they care for their customers. After numerous calls with salesman and installer, 5 schedule dates with 5 no shows and not a single courtesy call to inform us. We are left to call and leave messages of which are never returned in a respectful time. Multiple calls and leaving messages are usually returned a week later. The store is powerless over their network of installers and you will find yourself also at their mercy. At one point the salesman told my husband that this problem is between us and the installer ( this was the stores recommendations "one of the top installers in the state"). Yesterday morning my husband called the store to cancel the sale or get some help. Salesman said only the store manager Lorenzo can do that but he would have him call me. After waiting all day for a call from the store manager, no call. There is an embedded culture throughout the company that lacks a sense of urgency to care for their customers and honestly a basic lack of respect. It is evident that the issues start at the top with a low customer service priority, lack of concern with follow through and poor business operations that we have been a victim of. These will quickly become your problems. Please trust us. Choose another company. We heard friends that had issues but we shook it off as circumstantial. I suggest you trust this review and the many others from customers that can prevent you from falling victIm to Kelly's broken systems and the endless chasing of them for service. read more

I walked in and saw Pete and knew I was in great hands! I told him I had an issue with my fridge, and since I have an extended warranty, handled! Now, I was looking for the washer and dryer set I cast my eyes upon last year but after I gave my "must haves", Pete showed me his dream set! (What girl doesn't love a confident salesman? I can't bend over too far due to 2 back surgeries (not do I want to) and I have a lot of friends who hate the front loaders due to the "mildew smell" on their clothes. We bought an entire set of new professional series kitchen appliances in April. They delivered the refrigerator in early May and both doors were dented. The refrigerator was also installed incorrectly (tilting back about 2 inches). I contacted the sales rep, Jonas from the Eugene store, while the installers were still there. He reassured that the doors would be ordered right then and the incorrect installation fixed. Here we are August 1 and it still is not fixed and still waiting for the doors. I had to contact them repeatedly about getting the rest of the appliances, micorwave, dishwasher and gas range. Finally in June the microwave was delivered. It arrived with a dented door also. AGAIN, the sales rep reassured me that it would be ordered and replaced. Six weeks later no replacement door for the microwave. AGAIN, I am tasked with following up because I have never, and I mean never, got a follow up text, call or email from them. So in July, 10 weeks after the original order they finally delivered and installed the dishwasher and gas range/cooktop. But when they were being installed we noticed that the new Frigidaire Professional Series in the 3 months from order and delivery of the $2500 refrigerator to the delivery of the dishwasher and range had changed the handles. Once again, the sales rep said he would take care of it. Today, August 1, almost a month after they were installed I asked about the handles and the sales rep said "he ordered them and he would check with the manufacturer". I would NEVER buy from Kelly's again. It was not any less expensive (and it was expensive) than the competition. And their service, support, follow up, have been terrible. I have not ruled out talking to a lawyer and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They still have not delivered two fridge doors and the microwave door. read more

Unfortunately, when Jeff retired from operating Willamette Appliance (we were customers for over 30 years furnishing both residential & income properties) so did his customer-centric service. Kelly's may have purchased the business, but does not stand behind products or service. Our Fisher & Paykel fridge failed a week after the initial 2-year warranty expired (over $2K for a supposedly "durable" item. We were not extended an additional warranty at time of purchased and we failed to inquire. Kelly's could care less that their product failed prematurely and made no attempt to accommodate us. We'll head to Costco for our multiple appliance requirements in future, or other big box option (offer standard 4 year warranty out the door they stand behind). Gave Kelly's a second try after our first experience in buying the LG Door-in-door with craft ice which was never actually ordered from their warehouse because the saleslady dropped the ball after i had to remove all of the food to our downstairs refrigerator only to haul it back upstairs three different times. We expected it on a Fri, and they didn't even bother to update us--cuz they 'forgot' to order it from their own warehouse. The second time this happened we cancelled the order with Kellys and purchased it from BestBuy. I like to keep my money local and support our local businesses and had bought many appliances at Oldfields over the years before these folks took it over. So, gave Kelly's a second chance with the purchase of a GE Cafe induction range. While I understand about supply chain obstacles, this unit took a year to be delivered. Not once did 'LORENZO' call and update us after the initial delivery date of approximately three months after purchase. After six months, still no update or info from LORENZO, no call... i had to call them, and had to continue to do so until the unit arrived because LORENZO did not keep us updated, would not answer our questions, and did NOT return our phone calls. With this purchase we bought the extended warranty and also applied for the rebate of cookware, sous vide probe, and HestanCue smart pan. Nearly four months now since the unit has been installed and we still have not received the extended warranty or the rebate products. I called LORENZO again, asking about these items and he offered no help... no guidance, no assistance... told us we were on our own and to call GE and gave me a phone number which was useless. He was rude, arrogant and patronizing, same as before. Funny, he was nice and helpful when we purchased the appliance... he is the guy who gives sales reps a bad name. In addition to the frig and stove/range, we purchased a dishwasher and are now in the process of purchasing SpeedQueen washer/dryer..... from HomeDepot and Nielsens. In December 2018 I purchased a gas range/double oven from Kelly's (formerly Oldfield's). My husband and I chose to shop for a new oven at this business because our family and extended family have been customers of Oldfield's for many years. Our old electric range died and we decided to follow my dream of switching to gas for our home cooking. Originally we had planned to spend less than 600 dollars to purchase a basic model gas range. The salesman at Kelly's showed us the options available on modern gas ranges and we came across a floor model made by GE anything had been discontinued and the original price had been cut roughly in half. We returned home without buying anything in order to consider our options. We returned the next day to look more closely at the floor model GE range. It has a tag attached to it which started that the range and both ovens had already been converted for use with LP gas. We don't have natural gas available at our home, so any range we purchased would need to be converted for use with LP. Because this particular model had already been converted, that fact influenced our decision to buy it. We were told that the range was in perfect condition and the only reason it was discounted was because it was the floor model. They was no box, so the salesman wrapped the stove in plastic wrap and had it moved to the loading area of the store. After paying for the range we drove our truck to the loading area. There was no loading ramp, so our salesman and another employee put the stove on some sort of mechanical lift in order to get it up into our truck. When we got the stove home and attempted to install it in our kitchen, we discovered that the two "feet" on the right side of the stove could not be adjusted to make the stove level. Upon further inspection we discovered that the right side of the stove was severely damaged bear the bottom, as if it had been dropped on that side. The feet were broken and unable to function. We have to place the right side of the stove on boards to level it, but that makes it impossible to slide the stovr into its place completely, so we have it installed several inches away from the back wall. After hooking up the gas connections and lighting the stove we discovered that the proper nozzles for LP gas were NOT installed as we had been told by the salesman, and as the label on the stove declared. Additionally, the replacement nozzle kit, which should have come with the stove, was incomplete. It appears that some of the correct nozzles had been taken. When we contacted the store about these issues, they refused to offer any assistance or discount to make up for the time we would be without a usable stove or for the costs of making the necessary repairs and adjustments. My husband called several times and was told they would call him back, but they did not. The stove also came with the incorrect knob for the top oven. I didn't bother calling the store, I contacted GE directly and they replaced the knob. We spent $2000 on this stove and we are extremely disgusted with the way we are being treated by Kelly's. They misrepresented the product, and we relied on those misrepresentations in choosing to buy the stove. This constitutes fraud and I would strongly discourage others from doing business with these incompetent liars. Our family has purchased many appliances from Oldfield's ( now Kelly's) over the years, but those days are over. Never again. read more

I have physically entered the store 4 times About this issue. I called the appliance repair that they were going to send out. They say they are going to contact me and let me know the status. Not once have I received a phone call the only contact I have with them is when I make the contact. This business was oldfields which was Built-in business for years. I would have shown zero stars but that's not possible. I am a grandmother so am a woman of a certain age which at Kelly's apparently renders me invisible. I've had three different experiences at Kelly's (one was when they were still called Oldfields) and all were bad. Their ample staff but all ignored me as they congregated around the sales counter in the front of the store conversing with one another. Once I went there when the ad in Sunday paper promoted a particular refrigerator that I wanted. When I went to the store not only was the advertised refrigerator NOT in stock but the staff got a good laugh that I "fell for it." I always want to support local businesses when possible but I ended up getting my refrigerator at Best Buy where the staff were happy to help me as well as get my money. read more

When you walk in the door, everyone is friendly and helpful until something goes wrong! Once your appliances have been delivered, they will not talk to you when something goes wrong. I purchased a new refrigerator and it doesn't make ice, and doesn't dispense water! I have emailed and called only to find everyone is pointing the finger for someone else to take care of. Also, my plumber is here. He asked if I purchased a "used" or "demo" dishwasher. When I asked "why" he said there's water in it and he has never seen that before! I am still waiting to hear back from Kelly's manger (Lorenzo) since it has escalated from Sales to Manager. If I don't hear back within 1 week of delivery, I will have no choice but to file a claim with their insurance. I would not buy from Kelly's nor can I recommend them. Customer Service is key, and from this experience, Kelly's does not have that. I'm very disappointed that I may have to take legal action to correct something so minor. read more

Where to start.... Talked Mama into buying midline GE he washer and matching dryer (along with extended warranty service contracts) from Oldfield's right before they changing over to Kelly's. The washer has never worked correctly even after many service calls and parts replacements and when Kelly's took over there was no longer a service department and the service contract was no longer honored, Say What ? So I take a 15 mile round trip to do laundry at my brothers house in the GE front loaders I bought from Oldfield's over 10 years ago that still work well. So fast forward 5 years of doing this we are able to save up to buy new units and not from Kelly's and not GE branded anything from now on. Buy from a reputable dealer not this establishment. Horrible customer service! Then they want you to do the work for them, making the calls etc.

We purchased all new appliances for our kitchen remodel, last April, at Kelly's in Salem. The refrigerator turned out to have a small dent and a scratch on one of the doors. I have called Kelly's numerous times and been told the door is on order. Considering that Kelly's advertises constantly, I have a hard time believing they can't get me a new door. I've asked for a new frig, but get no response. Having spent thousands at Kelly's over 20 years. I am highly dissatisfied. It would be difficult to convince me to buy from them again. read more
