The materials are ethically sourced. 3. The jewelry is just gorgeous. (Maybe that should be the number one thing?) Savannah made my custom wedding ring set and made the whole process so simple. We went through two design meetings and she made beautifully rendered drawings each time. I was probably a pain because I had about 50 different images of rings I liked and wanted her to somehow meld all these different aspects into one piece. I was also probably a challenging customer since I wanted to use heirloom materials from family pieces. She melted down a gold heirloom ring for the gold accents, used a rounded star ruby from a ring my husband had given me year prior and the diamond chips from my mothers engagement ring. I knew that I loved Savannah's style, work and the design we came up with but I was still nervous to see the final rings. When I finally saw them I was floored. They are perfect. We had so many ideas and questions, all of which she took into consideration when crafting what became my wedding band. I have always been a fan of the hammered look on jewelry and wanted this style incorporated, my husband liked some jewelry Savannah has made in the past that featured rays carved directly into the piece. Savannah wasn't sure if it'd be possible to include both. We were thrilled to see the finished band that had beautifully integrated both styles paired with a stunning alexandrite jewel (which she recommended). I am in love with the ring and am so happy to wear it every day. Once our wedding photos are processed I will def post a photo. All in all, Savannah is a pleasure to work with. Like I said in my first review, I have used Britz quite a few times. They sized and soldered my…read morewedding set together. We also purchased my wedding band from them along with my husband's. When I received a watch for my graduation I knew I would be taking it in to Britz to get sized. Not anymore. I have had problems with the size of my wedding set since it left the store. The owner Tim insisted that I would want it a smaller tighter size. (He has since said the same to my best friend about her ring.) I went with it because he was the professional, not me. This ring has been TOO small for me. I have pictures and video from our wedding where my husband is struggling to get the ring on. Getting the ring off is another story. I have had to be incredibly choosy about when I wear my ring and when I take it off. Often times I can't get it off. I try windex, soap, even the floss method. Nothing works. My finger ends up purple and numb from the whole ordeal. To top it all off I have started developing skin problems when I wear my ring. Moisture is getting caught under my ring so my finger looks like I have been in the bath for too long. That skin starts to peel and later burn like hell. Meanwhile I can't get my ring off to do anything about it because it is too small. Since all of this started I have had to pick whether or not to even bother wearing my wedding ring. How horrible is that?! I want it on my finger all of the time but I can't because it is too small. I went in to Britz months ago and asked him for a quote to size my wedding set up, solder my new band on to the other two, and to re-plate it. This would cost me $475. I went in yesterday to talk to them about this quote and how I would like some wiggle room on price considering this problem stems from their professional recommendation. The gentleman who does the work was very kind and respectful to me. The owner on the other hand was incredibly rude. I have never been treated with such disrespect BY A STORE OWNER. After giving me dirty looks he said, "So you want me to give you a discount because your body fluctuated?" No sir. My body did not fluctuate. I know my body. My fingers have not gotten bigger or smaller since my wedding. The ring has been a problem the whole time. But since you have been SO RUDE I will take my business to Kay's. They will charge me $150 for the same exact work and I bet they will treat me with more respect. You have lost my business and the business of my family and friends.

It's apparent that he really values artistic integrity and originality. I love my ring even more than the one I originally had in mind! The woman herself, Celeste, was at the shop when I stopped in and was so warm and welcoming. They have a variety of designs. I especially liked the one with a peacock design, and there was one with some leaves blowing that I was quite taken with. I also saw a beautiful one with a compass rose that was a wooden dial. There was even one with a Sasquatch! They also take commissions and you can send a photo of your pet with which they'll create a watch face. You can't get more unique than that. The watch materials may include wood, mother of pearl, abalone, and so on which makes them really just stunning. I'd love to get one of these sometime because they of course are practical but they're also a beautiful accessory and fashion statement. I was given an Apple Watch that I never actually wanted (it has a couple useful features) and can go many months without wearing or thinking about, but something like this would feel much more practical to me (if for no other reason than having to charge up a watch is just ridiculous to me). I think at some point I'll be back in person or via their website to buy one of their pieces--it's a matter of narrowing it down to which of a few designs I really want.
