One of my favorite shopping experiences while visiting Austin ! Love all the band shirts , horror movie action figures & sick posters . You should definitely visit while in Austin or going down 6th street.

We recently had a really fun trip to Austin and stumbled across Aaron's Rock & Roll. As a music player and lover this store took me back to my high school daze! We got our favorite band shirts for ourselves, family, and even our grandkids! This is the kind of novelty shop we appreciate! Cheers to the crew at Aaron's R&R for being there when we came through town!

It doesn't matter what time of year it is, it's always Halloween in here!

Spencer's at your local mall only wishes it could be as half as cool and awesome as Aaron's Rock & Roll store. I've been shopping at this place for over 20 years now and it will always be my go to source for unique gifts. Not just another cookie-cutter souvenir store, you'll truly be hard pressed to find such an weird array of retail odds and ends gathered for sale in once place anywhere else.

Pretty sure it's closed for good right now, called the number and straight to voicemail, doors are boarded. Like there's no door handle

However, this time was a lot different and I was able to find the perfect gifts for my friend's birthday as well as fun items for myself. It seems like the selection has remained the same although Atown is keeping up with current and modern trends. For example, there were a lot of ICE based items tucked away as well as current celebrity crushes who are on everybody's minds. The coolest thing I found was a James Talarico candle but other than that, a lot of the items that were for sale were pretty kitschy and I believe they are the same wholesale items I have seen before. I must shoutout the incredibly helpful service from Audrey who went above and beyond to help me find items for my friend's birthday. She was super sweet, and I would've been wandering around the store aimlessly if it wasn't for her direction. Additionally, she even came up with combination gift ideas which was pretty sick. Atown is lucky to have her! I think my PTSD is no longer because of her assistance. Great store, unfortunately high prices. However, no one does it like Atown!

There are 3 or 4 separate areas you can visit and they have things from locally made earrings and art to coasters, desk plates, rubber ducks of famous people, religious candles with random famous people, funny socks, clothes, and so much more. The staff is friendly and outgoing, they even had a woman at the door greeting you and offering you a hand basket if you wanted or needed one. There were 3 or 4 cashiers and at least one lady walking around greeting you and seeing if they could help. It is pricier then your chain store but the products are cooler, unique, and many times locally made. Things you can't get at other stores or amazon. Like so many places, it's one downside is parking. It is a small lot, if you part in front you basically have to back in to spot blocking traffic or back out into traffic. There is a small side lot that is better but you basically have to 3 point turn out of that spot. Always willing to pay a bit more to support local. We don't get out of our area/comfort zone much but we do love this place. #Supportlocal

The dresses are all handmade and artisanal or whatever, but this five-star review is for the amenities. First of all, the panhandlers who love to harass and congregate outside the CVS haven't followed me into the store here, so the hobo shielding is strong with this one. The seating arrangement is also exquisite--the perfect iPhone Throne for, let's face it, probably dudes like me who wouldn't have come here on their own accord. Since it's a single-seater (with an ottoman!), the capacity is far more limited than the long bench at Outdoor Voices, so if you and I end up here at the same time, we'll need to fight for it. No face shots, please, and leave my Yelpin' hand be.

The dresses mostly run over $100 and aren't exactly my style. The prints are mostly fun and colorful and almost 60s-70s ish. I found their sterling silver jewelry and earrings to be more interesting. They had lots of unique flower shaped earrings that ranged around $32-44. They also sell kids clothes and gifts. The interior was a little dark. The dresses were mostly made of stretchy or comfy fabric. The dresses are more casual in nature (wrap dresses, summer dresses). They also sold bathing suits for around $80. I don't know if the bathing suits are made in-house.

In addition, you'll be able to find items from various eras as far back as the 30s through the 70s. I've seen some stuff there even older than the 30s.
