With the holidays and all, I didn't have a chance to search for and hire movers until a week before I was due to move. I received a very fast response (on a weekend), with a standard quote. Follow up questions were answered quickly and communication with the administrative stuff was great. On the morning of moving day, my crew of 3 showed up to move my 2 bedroom apartment on time. Ronal was "the main guy" and brought Dillon and Augustine up to my apartment and the three of them wasted no time getting started. I had most everything that needed to be already packed in boxes, so 2 of them started moving those and the other one starting bringing up blankets and wrapping furniture. I had kind of a quirky setup in the building I was moving out of, so with that and the wrapping of everything they were done moving out in 3 hours. Transition to my new place (very close by) and we had a short delay because of the building management. After that was sorted, the 3 of them got cranking on moving all my stuff in. These guys barely took a break the entire time. I offered them what I had (some cups of water and 1 banana each) and they paused for 5 minutes to scarf that down and kept going. I ordered some lunch for them and offered to let them take a quick break to eat and they decided they wanted to wait until they were finished. They started at 9:00 and were done by 3:00. I did notice a small piece broken off my table after everything was moved in. I mentioned it to Ronal, he apologized and asked if I wanted to file a claim. It's an older IKEA table, so I declined. All in all I am super satisfied with A2B movers. Highly recommend them for an in town move. read more

San and Sasha were absolutely great! The reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because it took 2 tries before this company actually moved my elderly Veteran. The first time I scheduled a date and time to for them to move him, two workers showed up, looked around the house, said they will be back and never came back and never moved my Veteran. No one could give me an explanation of why that happened. The 2nd time I scheduled the move I made sure I was present in order to prevent that from happening again. I called the company in between locations to clarify their mask policy. They confirmed yes, of course movers are supposed to wear masks. I asked them to call him to remind him, which they said they would, but his nose was still out the whole time. Would not hire these people unless you want to get coronavirus. Jeff at the business office was really responsive, polite, and professional. When we chose to delay our move at the last minute due to the wildfires, Jeff helped me get a truck the very next day, with no fuss or extra fees. The moving crew Max, Zef and Marat were also excellent. We had a tough three story walk up, and I was only half finished packing, but they busted their rumps to pack the rest and hoof it out in record time. (One Big Man One Big Truck) so I figured I'd comment on what I saw. Whoever was on the truck on 24th ave. Between Geary and Anza today, you guys/gals know very well how to pack a truck. This means a LOT in the moving world. I would hire you guys for my next move but...the company I worked for already has me covered.
