At this time there were no reviews for eyebrow by threading so I was just hoping and praying that they were going to be good. By the way threading is an amazing thing and much better than waxing so Eugene needs to catch on! The eyebrow place is in a little kiosk stand in the valley river center mall. Yup, people can just walk on by and watch as you get your eyebrows fixed. Although that doesn't bother me, I actually encourage it. $13 for eyebrow threading... Much steeper than the $4 it costs in NY. When you get there you sign the sign in sheet, I never waited more than ten minutes. To get your eyebrows threaded only takes a maximum of two minutes which I love! The older woman who works there is by far the best! She perfectly shapes my eyebrows every time. The younger lady once made my eyebrows way way way to thin and I suffered for months waiting for them to grow back. Needless to say, just make sure you tell them what you want. If there is a line of people they rush and don't do as good of a job so when they hand you the mirror asking if everything looks okay, if you see problem areas or missed hairs make sure you speak up!!! I made the mistake of not saying anything and I had to go home and pluck out all the extra pesky hairs. Overall this place works for me and the majority of the time they do a good job. On August 28th my 17 year daughter had a consultation with stylist Sena to go over an appointment…read morefor a full color of vibrant green. She showed her a picture for an example and she agreed she could do it and the amount of $360 for the appointment. On September 2nd she had her hair appointment and the results were no where near her expectation. She sat in the chair for 5 hours and when she was finished Sena told her "Well you got semi cool hair". My daughter left in tears and stated to me she "never felt uglier". (Fortunately she had a friend fix it for her that night). I called the salon and talked to the manager Morgan asking for a full refund and she would not return to the salon for a correction as it already was redone by her teenage friend with the exact results she wanted. I was also told my child, who is a minor, was asked and signed a waiver for no liability of damage. Parental consent should have been given per Oregon Law. Morgan said that my daughter told her she was 18, (my daughter said she never discussed her age) nor was she asked for ID. I have asked Morgan for the immediate copy of the waiver and still haven't received it. After multiple email, and phones calls, asking to speak to the owner, communication ceased. I went to the salon today and asked to speak to the manager, owner, and stylist Sena. Morgan came to the front desk and I again asked her if I could talk to Sena and the owner, in which she told me the "owner lived out of state and doesn't answer phone calls because she trusts her to run the salon". I asked for a copy of the waiver and she refused and said my daughter needed to come in herself because she was the client. I replied that wouldn't be happening and as her parent I was representing her. Morgan then became aggressive after I told her that I had no choice but to write a bad review and post on social media so this doesn't happen to another client, much less another teen. I also told her I would be filing with Small Claims court to recoup loss of money. At that point Morgan loudly asked me to leave the salon, in which I did without incident. I am yet to talk to the stylist Sena, or owner, Renae Tichenor nor do I have anyway to do so because the email goes directly to Morgan. Not once did Morgan offer an apology or any sympathy. I suggest if you find interest in this salon to go elsewhere. We are highly dissatisfied and my child was left emotionally distraught. With only a couple days notice, Rachael was able to fit me in. I showed up incredibly nervous, both for the possible pain, and for what it was in general. Rachael was fantastic, though. She walked me through the whole process, explained everything, and seriously knows her stuff. The education was both interesting and acted as a welcome distraction, and before I knew it she was all done. She's really good at putting you at ease while doing a fantastic job.
