The chimney cap had a lifetime guarantee according to the service agreement I was provided. During a recent storm, said chimney cap blew off. I sent 2 Yelp requests to Chicago Chimney Service about it and got no response. I then called and left a message about it and again, no response. So no, I don't recommend this company as if anything goes wrong down the road, they will not stand by their warranties. I hate leaving any negative review, but other people need to be aware that this company will not stand by their work in the long run, so look for a more reputable company from the get go.

I contacted the company and Wayne promptly returned my call. Wayne and his son Jason came out, assessed the damage, shored up a section of the internal wall, removed the damage cinder block and rebuilt that section. Afterwards, they removed all of the damaged outer bricks and replaced it with new brick. The wall looks far better than it did prior to the damage. Wayne and Jason provide superior craftsmanship. They're knowledgeable and took the time to detail exactly what needed to be done and answer my questions. I appreciate how they thoroughly cleaned up the worksite afterwards.
