We visited this place twice during our trip to Lisbon and it will not be the last visit for sure. Luis is a great host - definitely a reason why we had to return for my birthday. The food is just perfect- All the different tastes and flavors. Luis uses the best products in a simple but most delicious way. He made us try very nice wines and specialties from different parts of Portugal. The menu he offers is highly recommended. Seeing all the other happy guests enjoying their food and wine made us happy. Luis can be very proud of this concept. Thank you so much for this great experience during our trip to beautiful Lisbon.

Today I'm thankful for this, one of my favorite places to eat in Lisbon…read more It's off the beaten path, and a lot quieter and more accessible than the Time Out Market. If you're looking for a good daytime activity in Lisbon, get over here with all your friends, eat all the things, and then window shop/actually shop as you wander back toward the city center. There are a LOT of different stalls manned by very personable people, and we split up, ordered whatever we wanted, and reconvened at all of the very comfortable tables to eat everything. We had: ramen, two different steaks, rice and beans, salad, fries, oysters, shawarma, a few different baos, candied nuts, and one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. And honestly, it was all pretty affordable. There are even some cute little clothing shops, if you ever get tired of eating. I don't, really. Truly, a great stop in Lisbon.

There are some friendly vendors here and my son and I purchased all our vegetables for Thanksgiving…read moreincluding butternut squash, Brussels sprouts and asparagus. Cash was needed for those. We stopped into an organic olive oil place and the lovely and informative purveyor gave us an olive oil tasting. I mentioned the next day was U.S. Thanksgiving and we were making an all vegetarian meal. She ,wisely, suggested we check out their selections of organic wines. We bought a red and a white and a white that were excellent. They accepted credit cards .I'm told there is a good farmer's market there on Saturday's. Some basic Portuguese was needed for the vegetables vendor but the young woman in the olive oil store offered to speak English. This was a fun experience we won't forget.

We celebrated our anniversary here a few days ago. When we first tried to dine here several years…read moreago during August the restaurant was closed for vacation. We were disappointed at the time but we found many other restaurants that had good seafood as well. We were traveling with other family members this time and thought this restaurant would be the best places to try pretty much every seafood dishes available in Lisbon and some of the unique foods that we can't get at home. We had barnacles, glass shrimp (it is supposed to have eggs outside the shell but unfortunately we were told the season was over so there were no eggs), spider crab, oysters with caviar, scallops, razor clams, and cheese with bread. My daughter's boyfriend tasted the barnacles for the first time and he loved it. We ended up ordering it twice. Everything was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food. Excellent service.

Fresh seafood, worth a try if you ever visit Lisbon!…read more Highly recommend ordering the clams! It was so delicious especially when you dip bread into the sauce! Scallops were also very delicious! Very sweet! The crab was my least favorite. It didn't taste very fresh... it seemed like it was prepared and sat in the fridge for awhile before serving it. Overall, I highly recommend this and try the other items on the menu. Must make a reservation as they most likely will be booked up and won't be able to accept walk ins.
