    A cute little cafe by the castelo. There's a few tables and a long high top inside. The Pastel de Nata is more creamy and sweet thank eggy. Not my favorite, but still pretty good. I also tried the port soaked croissant- that's was an experience. Lots of sandwiches and other desserts to try!

    I had this place on my list from the start but then someone said a local recommended it too so I had to add it to my itinerary I came on a day I was mainly cafe hopping or sitting at parks and site seeing The line was out the door but not too long Ordered a pastel, sausage pastry, and fresh OJ Went upstairs to the sitting room area and got a spot right next to the window which was perfect for people watching The pastel was great but not one of my favorites. The OJ was absolutely delicious along with the sausage pastry! Really enjoyed that one. Definitely give it a try to compare to other pastel spots

    Good pastry stop before the castle but nothing special , they claim their pastel de natas is the best which is not the case, the montagero shop is the best. I tried a bunch of different desserts but nothing stood out, even the coffee was average. They have seating upstairs and a lot of drink options . The drunk pear was interesting and the mango sorbet was great. The cheesecake was very light and not too sweet

    Crazy busy but excellent excellent egg tart. The service was quick and professional. Inside was clean and neat. Definitely a place that you need to stop by. It carries hundreds of years of tradition and culture and brings them to the modern day.

    Our favorite of all the bakeries and coffee shops we went to. The service was great, and the place has great views of the surrounding streets near the castle. The food and coffee were incredible! - The Port wine croissant is one of the best pastries I've ever had, and I could eat one every single day. - The pastel de natas were really good as well and I'd recommend getting a few You have to come and get some pastries from this place!

    Been here multiple times over the years. One of the top Pastel da Nata's in the city. Great crust and creamy filling. Often lines out the door but it moves quickly.

    We came at around 10:00am for breakfast. We had the ham and cheese croissant, pasteis de nata and cappuccinos. There was not much seating downstairs but there was lots of seating upstairs. The ham and cheese croissant was my favourite. It was flaky - the cheese was savoury and had just the right amount of ham in it. They also cut it in half for us which was great. The pasteis de nata was not the best I've had. It was pretty flaky but the custard wasn't creamy enough for me. The cappuccino's were okay - they weren't strong enough but overall did the trick of waking me up As for service - I gave it a 3 as there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and there was no where to put the dirty dishes as the bucket was all full.

    After hearing lots of great reviews of Pastelaria Santo Antonio, my wife and I decided to pay them a visit. As we were in Lisbon, my wife and I were going to a few bakeries to try which had the best Natas. We ended up ordering one to share from here, and thinking back now, I wish we had ordered more. The Natas were very fresh and warm. The custard filling had a very nice taste and the outside was nice and flaky. The interior of the shop was nice and cozy. The servers were also very kind. It was raining outside so they offered us a complimentary warm drink. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some natas!!

    This has been the best bakery we have visited during our trip! If you are visiting the famous Castelo S. Jorge, this is right on your way! Like 2 block priors arriving at the castle entrance. All their baked goods looked amazing so I got the Mozzarella and Tomato Baguette with Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, and my boyfriend got the Ham and Cheese Croissant, a coffee, and Orange Juice too. Now, this place has won the best Pastel de Nata in Lisbon in 2019, so for sure we added that to our order. My baguette was delicious! Cheese, tomato, and the baguette itself tasted so fresh and soft. My boyfriend devoured his croissant sandwich and he loved it! The drinks were so good too and the Pastel de Nata at the end was delicious! The perfect sugar dose, the dough was crispy and the feeling was creamy but with a good consistency. Service is quick since you order upfront and they will give you the tray right there. They have extra seating on the second floor and the place is clean and modern looking.

    Egg and custard tarts are a work of art, and Santo Antonio takes the pastries like a renaissance painting. My Asian bias is showing, but I normally opt for Chinese egg tarts. But this takes the cake (or carb... what are euphemisms?). Perhaps there's a colonial connection somewhere.

    On a quest for the best Pastel De Nata (Portuguese Tart), I discovered that Pastelaria Santa Antonio received an award in 2019. Having tasted several tarts here and in the states, I can attest that each bakery's version is delicious and possesses its own unique charm. The service was professional, and the transaction was swift. There is seating on the same level if the endless hills were a big workout for you. There is also setting up the stairs, along with toilets and an area where you can witness the entire process of how the tart is made. The ambiance was quiet which was prefec Overall, I would consider returning in the future. It is a short walk from the castle.

    Excellent food and for us location as it is next to our hotel. The ham and cheese pastry sandwich was so good I wanted more. Fluffy buttery pastry filled with goodness. My first Pastel de Nata was a mouth watering experience. Worth stopping by for breakfast or a quick bite

    As one of the many nata joints I've stopped by, Pastelaria Santa Antonio didn't stand out. A little too sweet and liquidy.

    So here's the interesting thing - this was one of *many* places to get pastel de nata that made to…read moremultiple lists of places you had to stop, which meant I obviously had to stop at as many of them as possible over the course of the couple weeks I was in Portugal, a couple months ago, in both Porto and Lisbon (also to a lesser extent, Coimbra). This means I can now say who made them best, and more importantly, why. The interesting thing is, I didn't think the pastel de nata here were particularly great, on any dimension - fairly flimsy, doughy crust, with a pudding-like, drippy filling that was too sweet and not quite eggy enough. Don't get me wrong, I'd still eat them any time someone offered, they were still tasty, you just have a ton of options nearby, some of them notably better than the ones here. I also tried one of their fancy-looking cookies, which definitely looked fancier than it tasted. Was just a cookie. Dessert-wise I was unimpressed. They were also always fairly busy, which made ordering feel a bit rushed. So why am I still giving this bakery 5 stars, and why did I come back here a couple more times, including to get food to-go the morning we left, to get food to take on the plane with us? For exactly one reason, and it's a weird one: oddly enough, the samosas here are the best samosas I've ever had, and by a wide margin. You'd think the best samosas ever would come from an Indian restaurant or bakery, but nope, they're here. The other small savory food items we tried were also pretty good, but the samosas are the juiciest, meatiest, most perfectly bursting with spices samosas I've had. Who knew? They also had pretty solid espresso and pretty solid free-squeezed orange juice, but those aren't hard to find in Portugal (I miss seeing inexpensive fresh squeezed OJ all over the city... especially *truly* fresh squeezed, to order, from whole oranges. Portuguese OJ definitely was the best. Though obviously not *better* than other places you can get the same thing around - probably indeed the same oranges. Definitely better than anywhere you can get fresh OJ for a few bucks in the US, though, if you can find such a place. :p)

That was interesting. Then, I didn't know how to bus my dishes. I just left them on the counter like all the other folks and went away.
