I recently purchased an electric vehicle (EV) and was looking to get a home charger installed. Duke…read moreEnergy has an EV charger prep program to get reimbursed for preparing your home or garage with said charger. They will reimburse up to $1,133. After extensively asking Duke all the questions to get this reimbursement, I asked for a list of contractors they have worked with. They gave me a list of 5+ electric companies. Go Green was the 3rd one I called and the only one that answered. Right away, they showed me elevated service. I explained the situation to them and they offered a free consultation to come check out my garage and give me an estimate for the EV charger installation. The very next week, Richie, the technician, came out and met with my husband to check out the space. The first estimate was a little more than what we wanted to spend (with one expensive part being the cost of the surge protector). My husband asked if we could provide the surge protector would Go Green supply the labor for installation. Richie said they could do that and also that he will come up with 5 different customizations of estimates based on different services and promotions. Richie left and within a few hours, the estimates were in my email inbox. I ended up choosing one of the mid-level ones and signed the invoice ocking in the price. Go Green had to order some parts so installation happened a little over 2 weeks later. Richie was the technician for installation too. It took him and his partner a little over 2 hours to install the charger. The city also needed to approve the charger so Richie said Go Green would handle the communication with them so they could come out. I did put in a request with him for a certain day and the city was able to accommodate. Once I received all my documents (the proof of EV registration, my paid invoice, and the approved permit), I applied for Duke's EV charger prep program. I was rejected about a week-ish later for not having an itemized invoice up to their standards. I immediately called Go Green and told them what happened and within the hour, they emailed me a new invoice which I re-submitted to Duke. Two weeks later, Duke emailed me approval for the program and two weeks after that, I received my check in the mail. This is a long review, but I wanted to explain the full process of working with Go Green to get approved for the EV charger prep program. I cannot recommend them enough. They are efficient and professional. I am extremely happy with their work!

They were competitive on price, and they are a smaller, hungrier company looking to do right by their customers and employees. When they did my install they were training a young man named Carson. 6 years later, Carson came on a service call to see why my AC was down, and found my 20 years later old intake had collapsed on itself after not being able to pull enough air. They were able to quote, get materials, and turn around the service call in a day or two. I'm impressed 6 years later Carson stuck around - that tells you the company is good and working with their teams to keep talent. This is a family business and they treat their employees and customers like family as well. I trust this company, they've done right by me for the past 6 years. Newcomb Maintenance came highly recommended. Unlike the other area contractors, he actually returned my call almost immediately and came the same day to review the job. He arrived as promised, taking a few measurements and making a sketch as we talked. He submitted his quote via email followed by a call in case I had any questions. To say that it was reasonable is an understatement - he came in at a third of the first bid that I received. Amazing. When the work began, Mr. Newcomb arrived with his crew - reviewed the project points and made the necessary introductions. From that point, the work moved quickly and ever so efficiently. Each day the team arrived as promised, worked diligently and only took a break for lunch. Four days later the work was completed and Mr. Newcomb returned for the walk through to inspect the work. Everything was handled with care - from first meeting to review the project to planning the job to execution to finishing and even cleanup. Newcomb Maintenance is a highly professional team with the knowledge, know-how and diligence to get the job done as efficiently as possible. We highly recommend them for any contract work your household or business may need.

The service has been exceptional so when we needed a new heating and air conditioning system we called Sutton Brothers immediately. Our system was 20 years old and was at the end of its life. Ian, a Sutton engineer, spent a number of hours reviewing our needs. He was very thorough and professional. He developed a plan for replacing the system and left us with a detailed plan to install a new system. Sutton Brothers' price appeared to be very reasonable and they would be able to install our system within a few weeks. We interviewed another firm, to do our due diligence. They came up three solutions that ranged from 40% to 120% more than Sutton Brothers. We selected Sutton Brothers. Tito and his partner Eduardo installed the ac and heating on our schedule, arrived on time and completed the job within eight hours, and left the property better than when they arrived. My wife works from the house and she said she barely knew they were there. I strongly recommend Sutton Brothers for their service, price and tremendous staff.
