He was able to take care of what we needed done and was more than fair on his price. We will definitely use him again in the future. Not only did he do a good job, but he called back several days later to make sure that everything was working fine and that we were pleased with his job. NOW that is what I call "great service." He goes by "AJW Handyman Services" now. 1-336-471-1218.

Honest, quality work…read more We have gone to Tom (owner) and Custom Woodworks for a half dozen projects over the last few years. He has done everything but a full remodel on my home - deck, screened-in porch, kitchen steps, front porch, bathroom remodel, basement, cabinetry, built-ins - you name it. We own a historic house and must abide by the (sometimes difficult) historic association and CWW has been great in playing within the rules. We go back to him over and over because he's good, fair, and honest. He has proved to be able to do just about any project (see above), and has also acted as a general contractor on a few, highly specialized projects requiring an electrician or plumber. I have already recommended him to 6-7 friends, and figured it was time to represent on Yelp. Hopefully this will get him a few more referrals. After I noticed some settlement issues, I called a few companies in the area to get quotes on repairs. AW&FR offered me a very reasonable price, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and I felt no pressure to sign anything. This was not the case with every company, and AW&FR felt they could achieve the same results with half the cost. The contract was very simple to understand and Ed set very clear expectations on scope of work, date of work, and time to complete, and felt confident this would address the settlement issues. Mike, Ed, and the team came by yesterday and installed 6 helical piers on my property while having to work around some complications with underground utilities. They were able to lift the house a few inches and I can already notice the improvement in my floors. I have attached a previous crack repair on my brick veneer. After the house lift, the crack sealed itself. They left the work site with the expectations I had and that were in the contract, which was disturbed, level grade soil. The final price was what was agreed to, and there were no surprises. If you need work done on your foundation and want it done by normal, hardworking people at a reasonable cost, I would highly consider contacting AW&FR.
