Not sure what is going on with this company . They were contracted by my warranty company to service my dishwasher. They never called or showed up for my 12-5 pm time frame . I called the office at 3 and 5 pm and was told "you are on the schedule , a tech will call when he is on his way " I never heard from them . The next afternoon I called and they sounded surprised no one called me ! I was assured then that someone would be out the next day. I had my service called transferred to another provider. They called first thing the next day and preformed the service by 1pm. I never received a call from A-tech , but the next day a tech showed up without calling before! I informed I had another service on the way as I was not sure if A-tech would show up . I don't recommend them as it took 4 days for them to show up and they don't call on they way . I had the misfortune of being assigned this company by American Home Shield. It's been nearly 3 months, and I still do not have my dryer repaired. They made multiple appointments and did not show up. Not a call nor an apology. If I got a hold of the lady on the office phone, she will act like she wants to help you but there was never any follow up. Sometimes she just is nasty over the phone. very bad service, never got our air conditioner fix We waited for almost a month for A Tech to respond to emails from our warranty company, and they never answer the emails to pick up or have the parts delivered. I had to pay another company to fix my air and them got my money from the guarantee company. Also, they misdiagnose the air conditioner to charge the warranty company more money. Worst service I have ever seen. They have had an open workorder with my Home Warranty company since July 26. They made the initial service call, collected my $50, then never returned with the part that the home warranty company ordered for them to install. I have left them countless messages and they won't return my call. 99% of the time, it goes to vmail and 2 of the 3 times that I actually got someone on the phone they asked me to call back because they couldn't find me in the system and needed time to look me up. Absurd! Also...they lied to me at one point. I had been waiting for two weeks for the part so I called for a status and they said it was on back order for 5 weeks and that they were trying to get approval from the Home Warranty company to order it themselves and it would only take a couple of days. When I didn't hear back, I called the home warranty company to see if I could get them to approve and they told me that not only was their story not true, but that the part was due to be delivered the next day and that A-Tech had only order it a few days prior. This place is awful! I have American Home Shield. They assigned my dishwasher repair to this company on April 29, 2021. Never heard from them. Tried many times calling them with no answer. Finally got through to someone and she set up an appt. Told me the would be there at 8am on May 24. At 11am they still hadn't shown, called and actually got a man and he said we don't do exact appointments, well that isn't what your office person told me. Someone finally showed. Rude guy. Tears it apart, says i think this is what it is...puts it back together, well if you call it that. Looks at me and says you saw that didn't have a screw there. UGH. This was May 24th. I asked if that was the issue and he says well I guess we will know when I get the part. Says he has to order the part through AHS. I have been waiting. I have called many times only to get VM and no return calls. Finally get through to someone, she says he will contact the tech and he will call. NO CALL! I call AHS and they say well we need to call them. They call them and get the same answer. I was guaranteed a call back...nothing. Call AHS again, told they will escalate it and I will get a call in 24-48 hours. NOTHING! I have been going round and round for 3 months. NOTHING! Just got off the phone with AHS, they got the same answer out of the contractor and gave me the same answers. I have asked they just pull it from that contractor and they tell me they can't do that. Well how am I supposed to get my dishwasher fixed if they aren't going to come out. This is ridiculous! Shame on this contractor and shame on AHS!!!! Wish I read these reviews before I even called the contractor after they didnt call. I would have called AHS back and made them switch it to another contractor! read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service! I had to use this company for our dishwasher through American Home Shield. It has been over a month and parts are still not ordered. Their phone only works half the time. They promise to return calls and never do. It took 5 days to send in a diagnosis to the warranty company. They were non-responsive to the warranty company and me. Parts were shipped and delivered and per the tracking number were left at the front door. The receptionists blatantly lied and said she tracked the parts and they had not been delivered. I tracked them myself and found they were delivered. I just found out today that the parts they ordered were the wrong parts on top of everything else. As of today, the warranty company isn't having any luck with this company either so they are going to replace my unit because it has taken so long. I have never seen anything like this. From what I understand, the warranty company has put them on hold. If you have a choice, do NOT use this company! If you don't have a choice because you are using a warranty company, I would do anything possible to request a different vendor. read more

If you want to waste your time you will love these guys. Sharp referred me to them as an authorized servicer. Spoke to the tech and everything sounded great on the front end; he was going to get the parts and schedule my service. Never heard from again. When I called the dispatcher was very polite but forget about getting a call back. I've called at least a dozen times over the last two weeks; they even gave me the tech's cell phone and he doesn't respond. Run don't walk from these people. Had a really bad experience with this company(very long story). To summarize: They where contracted by my home warranty company to complete work and after their initial visit to diagnose the problem and order parts, they became horrible with follow through and communication. Rarely answered or responded to calls. When I did reach them, they were unprofessional, they'd give vague answers and never followed up as promised. Even my home warranty company couldn't get them to return calls. I have zero trust in this company given that they avoid communication with their clients and make non-stop excuses. Ended up hiring a different company to complete the work after 2.5 months of waiting on them to complete what they started. read more

This company is terrible. My appliance is under a home warranty. They no showed on the first appt. When they finally came, the man didn't touch the oven except to copy the model and serial number. He said they'd call me back with next steps. 6 days later, they still hadn't called. When I called back, they said the repair person would call me back by the end of the day. Never called. Called the warranty company that night and they let me know A Tech had just submitted a status that the work was completed. No ethics. Go anywhere else. read more

It's a shame I am required to grant even one star. My home warranty company assigned this business for a repair. When they make appointments, it's a 4 hour window. They never showed up the first day, and called at the end of the window to reschedule for the next day. I was required to be at home the entire next afternoon, and they didn't show up again. They rescheduled for the following day with a 4 hour widow, and didn't show up AGAIN! I spent three straight afternoons at home for absolutely nothing. At this point I told them I wouldn't reschedule because I can't take off work 4 straight afternoons, and that I'd have the home warranty company assign someone else. They were not at all willing to work me to ensure that I'd actually receive the service for which I was paying on a scheduled date. read more

Perhaps the reason we received such poor service close to Thanksgiving 2015 is because they used up all their skill on the Jennifer C. job. We needed to have our ice maker repaired and after two service calls and many phone calls, our ice maker still doesn't work. The refrigerator is barely a year old. Like others, promises were made and then nothing happened. Even a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau did not get them to respond. Please don't trust your repair to this crew. read more

Absolutely terrible service. We had to use a-tech to service our Bosch dishwasher per Lowe's extended warranty. The tech came out determined the problem and said he would follow up on the part since he didn't have it on the truck. Well, he never did. So in our trying to follow up he then tells us that he can't order the part unless he has a work order from Lowe's. So we called Lowe's to have them submit the work order for the part. Again trying to follow up witht the technician, he would rarely answer his phone and his voicemail was full. Anytime we called the main number of the office they said they couldn't help us and that we had to speak the tech. Meanwhile, our dishwasher is sitting broken. It has been nearly 4 weeks and the part was just ordered a few days ago. Both the tech and the company repeated failed in providing basic customer service and rarely did their job when it came to assisting us through this process. We always received different information every time we called to check the status. Several times we were told that Lowe's never submitted the work order then we were told they lost it then we were told they would order the part without the work order in the mean time. The last time we called, we were told the manager was aware of our situation. I'm not sure what that means but I sincerely hope they know how poorly they have served us. Worst company. The initial response time to come and assess our appliance was fine. They diagnosed the problem and said they needed to order a replacement part. The tech asked me for cash at the point of service and said he could "give me a discount if I had cash." From that point forward, the service was awful. They told us it would take 2 days to get the part. They would call us. They did not. Over the next couple of weeks, we called repeatedly. The person answering the phone, Sharon, could never find our order. She promised repeatedly that the tech, Desmond would call us back. He never did. Sharon frequently wrote down the wrong information including, why we needed a call back, our phone number, etc. I asked to speak to her manager and she reported there was no one else to talk to. I repeated asked for the tech's number so I could speak to him directly. She would not give it to me. We eventually gave up on them and called a different company. read more
