I used a groupon for services there. I was very pleased. Until I left and received a phone call saying the girl forgot to run my tip and asked for my credit card information over the phone. I, admittedly stupid idea, did just that, to find that my originally more than generous tip turned into an $800 walmart.com purchase. I tried calling multiple times (they never answer the phone) to ask how exactly the owner planned on handling the manner with no return phone call. Luckily I have fraud protection and did not end up having to lose out on that $800. I did, however, have no access to my funds whatsoever for a week while I waited for my new card to come in the mail. Pretty nails are not worth that cost no matter how good they look. read more

I also used a groupon here for a manicure and a pedicure. I liked my pedicure. I was a not a fan of the manicure. I posted a picture of my mani under pictures if you want to the quality of work you will receive if go here I hope it shows enough detail. I was the first costumer of the day. The counters were not wiped down. Once the other staff arrived they seemed very nice and pleasant. I would not recommend this place My appt took two hours for a manicure and pedicure. read more

These ladies have always made me feel important and they are the best at what they do. These ladies are the best at doing my hair and nails and they offer many other services also. They only use the best of Tammy Taylor products for their nail services and I have never had any complaints. I discovered Swedish Touch when I was looking for a new person to do my nails and thus, Angela became my new nail lady. I do need to comment that I no longer have Angela do my nails as I have discovered I love doing my own and have all the equipment to do my Shellac Nails. Because to the great service I received from Angela and the professionalism of all at the salon I still go there every month for my hair. Shelly Martel is my hair dresser there and I have been going to her for over a year. She is always up beat, never has a negative thing to say and is very experience in color and cut. My hair health has greatly improved in the last year and she, along with all the staff, will go out of their way to make going to the salon a joy. read more

Owner runs the salon, open 5 days, closed Tuesdays and Sundays. She is really Swedish, by birth, so the name isn't just a 'jokey' name. :-) She cut my hair twice (long layers with long bangs, straight styling), and I've really loved it, and I'm terribly hard to please when it comes to those kinds of things. She's easy to talk to as well, and not nosy when it comes to personal chit-chat, as you know it can be in a salon business. Very comfortable and decorated in a warm elegant way. Her younger sister also works with her at the salon and day spa. Money is reasonable too. read more

I have been going to Swedish Touch for about one year. I wanted to go to a place that is concerned about my nail health and they are. They are more expensive than the last place I went but I find it is well worth it if you want healthy nails and an awesome job. You do have to make appointments but they always run on time where at the last place I went took walk ins but then I would have to wait even though I made an appt. because of the walk ins. They do not have the fancy massage chair for pedicures but they use product that supersedes any other place I have gotten a pedicure at and my feet are so smooth now. Someone wrote a review last July (which I just read now) and commented about a conversation she overheard between the customer and client regarding " the staff speak English". She was offended by what she heard and that could have very well been me saying that. The comment was not saying others who did not speak English were inferior to those who could.. In fact, my last nail technician spoke very little english and she was excellent. But it was just that I would get bored after a long day of work and wanted to be able to converse during a one hour manicure. Maybe the lesson is that when listening in on someone else's conversation, don't make judgements and take things out of context. And certainly don't blame Swedish Touch for a comment made by a customer. I highly recommend Swedish Touch. read more

I have been looking for a new nail place for awhile now. I saw all the awesome reviews on Yelp and thought I should try it out. I went on a Thursday at about 5:30pm and they were closed. (google and the sign in the door said they were open until 7pm) I called them the following day trying to make an appointment on my only day off and they said they were all booked and to just call back later. I figured I'd give them one last try, I went in at 2:30 on a Wednesday. There were only 2 customers in there but they turned me away because they don't take walk ins, period. The staff was very unwelcoming. Super disappointed since every review I read had a positive experience. read more

My husband bought me a mani pedi here and I'll be honest when I pulled in to the place I was worried(I regularly used the mall set up nail salon), its tucked away. They do it all. It's not the typical massage chair pedicure scenario but it's super friendly. You can tell the clients keep coming back and they really take care of their people. They guarantee the acrylics for two weeks. The staff seems like family amongst each other. If your looking for something different than the nail factory experience this is probably your spot but If you enjoy the masses and massage chairs then stick to the places close to the mall. read more

I used a Groupon for a mani/pedi at A Swedish Touch. The salon was clean, and the staff was pleasant, although I was disappointed to find that the pedicure chairs were not the plush ones I'm accustomed to. During my pedicure, the nail tech (who was extremely quiet and shy, although she was very young) asked if I'd like to add on a Shellac-type manicure that would last two weeks. I did, and left the salon somewhat pleased. In the car, I noticed my nails were smudged badly, and the old nail polish had not been removed on my toenails. Three days later, my nail polish has chipped off and had to be removed, and my toenail polish was badly flaking and chipping off. Overall, the salon and staff were nice, but the service I received was not worth the drive. read more

I used a Groupon to get a mani/pedi. I was excited to try a new place, but unfortunately I won't be back. I had an early appointment, and the salon was not busy. The person who helped me was very nice, but the service was quite weak. Everything looked fine at the salon, but when I was able to take a close look at home, I was very surprised. The person who helped me balked when she my textured glitter polish and offered me the chance to switch, but I didn't see the need. I noticed that she seemed to be applying the polish as if it were icing, and it was ultimately applied unevenly across the nail surface as well as too thickly. Within a few hours, it was falling off the edges of some of the nails, and within 24 hours, it cracked and peeled off several fingers and toes. There are chunky hills of polish on some of the nails; I've chosen many a funky polish before, but I've never seen anything like this application. It's unacceptable. Hard skin remains on the corners of some of my fingers and toes, and some of the cuticles are hanging; this could all easily have been taken care of in the salon. After removing the cuticles on my toes, the nail file was pushed down on them rather than going back over them with nippers; some of the cuticle is still clearly visible. Instead of clipping my toenails, all of the nails were filed, and they're not even. One of the biggest reasons I won't be back is that during the manicure, a woman and an employee next to me said that they were "just glad the staff spoke English here." This is absurd and repulsive talk, and I was shocked to hear it. Frankly, I've had superb mani/pedis with non-native speakers of English. Their English-speaking ability doesn't impact their professionalism and attention to detail, and they have *never* left loose ends like the ones I've been cleaning up. read more

I purchased a Groupon for this place for a full set of pink & white nails. Their website stated that walk-ins are always welcome. I went today and the only employee there was the receptionist. He claimed everyone was on lunch and it was strictly by appointment. When I told him what about walk-ins I had to pull up where on the site it said. He claimed he had absolutely no idea. I have never been to a business where EVERYONE goes to lunch at the same time and doesn't leave someone behind to take care of customers. In fact, some people do go on their lunch break to get their nails done, maybe they don't realize this. They claimed they have three people that do nails yet one is in high school so she's not there until after school. I'm sorry I really don't want someone practicing on me. I am extremely disappointed and I have contacted Groupon for a refund. I do not plan on ever coming here. This business is not accommodating at all. read more

The fact that the salon or sign can not be seen from the street amazes me that anyone can find them. But it seems that the owner does good business their. As mentioned in another review, I was very disappointed in the pedicure chairs were not at all what I was expecting. Very uncomfortable and being short, older and having back trouble, it only made things worse. I was unable to get comfortable nor could I barely reach the water when she pulled up with a pale to do my pedi. I unfortunately, did not get the owner, my friend did, and she got a decent mani-pedi. Unlike the person who did my pedi, she was rough, and I had to tel her three times to stop or that hurt. She barely messaged or even rubbed the creams into my legs. She did a bad job on the cuticle of my toes and when I told her I wanted the toe nails shorter, she argued with me. The owner was sitting right next to us, but made no effort to correct this girl or her actions. I would not go back just because for that reason alone. The mani was terrible, she did not clean around the cuticles well either and then she did not clean up the polish around the cuticles and I had to bring that to her attention a few times. In the end, my back hurt, my neck hurt and the total experience was unpleasing. I definitely will not go back. read more
