This was one of the most relaxing & nice pedi. It didn't feel rushed even despite how close it was to them closing! They did a great job with the gel polish! Lily, our nail tech, was kind and professional, and the nail designs looked good initially. However, my daughter's nails began chipping the very next day, which is unacceptable for a service meant for a special event. Lily also performed the waxing. While the process itself seemed fine, the wax used on my daughter's eyebrows left her face extremely red, which raises concerns about the products being used for facial services. On top of that, I waited over two hours and was not offered even a basic courtesy like a beverage. For a total of $183 plus a $50+ tip, the level of service and quality did not match the cost. Overall, while the staff was polite and the designs were nice at first, the poor communication, subpar results, and lack of attention to customer experience mean I will not be returning. During recent visits, I've had to remind staff of missed steps, and my last two appointments were mishandled, either the second service was forgotten or not communicated properly. At my most recent visit, the same technician as last time seemed unaware of social cues. I was clearly reading a book and hoping for a quiet session, but she kept interrupting with questions, so I had to put it away. I also had to tell her multiple times that she was being too aggressive, despite me directly saying "this is uncomfortable and I am not enjoying this", she didn't adjust her approach. I'm now left with broken skin. Condescendingly when applying the polish she added a question "does this hurt." I don't think this tech is licensed. Meanwhile my second service was completed I had to remind the 'tech' to add the clear coat. When it came time to check out I noticed they added an unadvertised additional fee. Still giving them a 20% tip this was a stressful servicing. It may be time for a new fav salon.
