I saw Ruby for a deluxe manicure with gel polish. Ruby was great herself, she did amazing on the design I asked for and was very sweet. The service itself was very awkward and the mask tingled a lot. My hands and cuticles started to peel a day after. I don't think I'll return unless I'm in a jam, unfortunately. read more

The manager is very intuitive as to what you need. Share what's going on with your hands, feet, waxing, and facials are outstanding. My wife and I have followed this particular manager for over 10 years. We live in Hampton and travel to VA Beach to receive wonderful car. I absolutely love this salon. Not only are the technicians great at what they do they are extremely kind and courteous. I personally have been going to Tina for about 7 years now. I can honestly say that I have never left disappointed. Tina will also do what ever she can to ensure that you are 100% satisfied every time you walk out of the salon. Tina has done my nails for my engagement, wedding and baby shower. She is absolutely amazing and does incredible work. Usually the shape is messed up looking and not even but wow did Steven give me the best nails I've seen in so long! Definitely recommend! Well if I could leave a 0 star rating I definitely would with the visit I just endured. Second time me, my mom and grandma went there and the first visit was amazing so when we returned today we expected nothing less then the first experience... we were wrong to assume. We had an appointment for 2pm, showed up early and they took us all at the same time, we all got finished at different times though. They were rushing, rough and unprofessional. All of our nails have issues, mine are uneven, unfilled, and sloppy. I also got my eyebrows waxed and they got wax in my hair and rushed getting them done. Will NOT be returning here. read more

A simple acrylic fill with the normal pink color and quarter inch cut down was $70 at this salon! When I got the initial set with tips it was only $75!!! When I asked why it was that much they said it was because the cut down is $10 and fill is $60...... yet a full set is $75????? I just got robbed y'all... ridiculous!! read more

I will start off by saying that it was my first time visiting this salon & although my nails did come out beautifully, the experience overall was subpar to put it nicely. Which is unfortunate because had my appointment not been so mismanaged I would've definitely considered going back! I had scheduled a 11:30 AM appointment that day, but wasn't even helped until 1 hour later!! To add to this massive inconvenience, during my appointment I was thrown around to several different technicians. On top of all that, even throughout my appointment, the technicians would run off and attend other customers and again, leave me waiting an inconsiderate amount of time, lasting about 30 min stretches. I tried to be understanding as perhaps the salon was understaffed, but from my perspective it just seemed straight up unprofessional as I overheard that the customers entering the salon were walk-ins & were attended much faster and with greater emphasis. Which leads me to believe that making an appointment doesn't seem to make a difference & you're better off walking in as you'll get better attention and attended quickly. Again, I did really love how my nails turned out but based on this first impression, it is very unlikely that I will want to return. Also I might add that the pricing isn't clear and the total at the end will definitely shock you a bit. It be nice if this establishment had some sort of pricing listed so that customers could have a better idea of price range for the services offered. read more

I agree with most reviews, nice people however, I just paid $87 for, powder dip which ended up with random glitter, told the lady, she said "ok" and just went on with the process, then sat for a pedicure and actually upgraded to gel and the white looks like my 5yr old niece did it. I tipped $3 just because I know how long they work, however much improvement is needed with the technicians there, I heard plenty good reviews about Tina, I just can't say the same for the rest. Looks like it is time to find a new nail salon. I started coming here over a year ago when I moved and was absolutely thrilled with the quality of work, at first. Over the past several visits the quality has diminished significantly, so I recently asked them to break down what I was paying for, because I felt as though the $77 I paid on the previous visit was a bit much to remove an old set and put on a new set. She started off with "we charged you $5 to remove the old polish..." wait, WHAT??? So that brings us to this last visit... my natural nails are flat. The reason I spend money to get my nails done is because I don't like my natural nail, so when I get my nails done I always ask them to give the nail bed a bit of a curve. In order to accomplish this they have to build up the acrylic a little thicker towards the cuticle and file it thinner towards the nail tip to give it the desired curve. Since I had been coming here for over a year, I thought that was already known, especially since she asked me right off "is this thick enough?". When the girl finished polishing I realized that she didn't file them correctly, so I ended up with thick flat nails, but it was already after close and I didn't want to keep her any longer than I already had, so I tried to just deal with it...I couldn't, they looked awful, and the square tip was U shaped, not square (and still is!). The next day I decided to stop by to see if she could just file the tips thinner to give it that curve and then repolish them. I was willing to tip her (more than what I ended up tipping) for the inconvenience, until she decided to start talking shit about me to others while I was sitting right there. Just because I don't speak your language doesn't mean I don't understand what you are saying. I also read body language and facial expressions. So... since I am apparently a terrible human being for not wanting to just deal with the shitty looking new full set that I paid $70 for, my daughters and I will take our business elsewhere from now on. read more
