I just moved to the area and was excited to try a local nail salon that was within walking distance. Unfortunately, Lovely Nails was not a great experience, and I should have walked out seeing just how filthy the salon is kept. I got a pedicure, and it lasted a total of 12 minutes including the time to soak. I couldn't believe my watch when I had an appointment and literally 12 minutes later, it was over. The technician was very determined to finish as soon as possible. There was one other person in the salon who came in after me and was just getting started before I was hurried out although she was much more vocal than I was. I could hear her telling her technician to be more gentle, and I wish I would have done the same. It was such a rough and rushed pedicure that it was anything but relaxing. The finished result was something I could have done at home (nail polish over my cuticles, uneven application, no filing). I paid $30 for sloppy polish and that was about it. I would NOT recommend going here unless you feel comfortable being very vocal to the technician and are comfortable with a really rough, short service. read more

I was in town and needed my nails paint for the Holidays. I called and spoke to shop owner Mr. Kevin and let him know what designs I had in mind. I texted him photo designs, he was very honest about what they can do. I had the basic gel paint and hand drawn designs, not exactly like the photos but good enough to make me happy. The lady did a great job painting my nails evenly and took my advices well on the designs. No cuticle cutting, just filed, shaped and gel polish over my natural nails $20 plus $15 for 10 nails with designs. Not bad in my opinion! read more

Had to walk out before my pedicure even started. I called around 4 to make an appointment, they said they could get me in at 5:30. I showed up at 5:25 and was told "you are early and we are late" I said "that's okay" having no clue just how "late" they were. I was soaking my feet and a technician walked over to me and said "it'll be a little wait" I wasn't in a big hurry I said "no problem" then another customer walked in and she started working on her feet. Looked at me and said "sorry, her first" I was so confused, thought maybe she's just getting her water set up. Nope! I sat there for a half hour with my feet in now cold water. She looks over at me again and said "soon". I said "no, I think I'm gonna go". She said "I'm sorry, other customer was late. Almost done". I said "no, I'm good", got up and left. I've been to a few nail salons in the 757, but this place is my go-to nail salon for the past 5+ years, ever since I was in high school! Kevin and Joy are great! Everytime I come in there is ALWAYS good vibes. No shadiness at all! The shop may not look as glam as Wonder Nails at greenbrier mall, but what matters to me is the quality of the work and it is always fantastic at LN2. Their prices are great also! They genuinely care about how they do your nails and they always listen to how YOU want them done! I brought my cousin along w/ me who got acrylics for the first time at Wonder Nails and she didnt like it. So when it was time for her to get a fill-in, I suggested that we go to LN2 and they definately cleaned up the dirty work from Wonder Nails. read more

This location is near my house but on one occasion the male tech talked loudly and laughed with his coworkers through my entire pedicure...not relaxing...definitely rude...but he did ok work and for a reasonable price so I ended up going back when I needed another pedicure. On that occasion there was a wait but I didn't have anything else to do so I sat down. When it came to be my turn the woman came out looked at me and took someone else. Which is fine because when she walked out my first thought was she wasn't someone I wanted touching me but still.... Her manager argued back and forth with her because she observed her do it but neither directly acknowledged me so at that point I left and I won't go back. Too many nail shops in the area for that. read more

Great experience. I was unable to get into my regular nail shop on Valentine's Day and tried these guys out with my husband's encouragement. They weren't extremely busy and this made me a little nervous, as I thought they must not be very good. To my surprise, the service was great and they did a GREAT job for a lot less than I pay at my regular nail salon! I will definitely go back. read more
