Now that summer is here it was time to get my toes all prettied up. Had service here on 05/24/2023. I love that I am able to book an appointment with them via their Vagaro app which is simple and easy to use and your able to pick your service and who you would like. I booked a Classic pedicure appt with Angie Tran. As always this place is so bright and spacious and clean. I was greeted by the hostess and checked in. While I was waiting I picked my color. Angie was great and my toes are all nice and pretty, I loved that she made sure I was OK with the color I picked which after putting on one toenail realized it was a tad to Barbie pink for me and I chose another color I loved. This is my go to place for pedicures and will definitely go back!
I was blessed to book with B at the last minute! B is such a vibe and she never misses! I love how she has a great attitude and is open to ideas and suggestions too! Simply elegant today.
I needed another plan to celebrate my mother for Mother's Day. I did a Yelp search and this highly rated nail spa had some great reviews. I saw that I was able to schedule multiple appts. here on YELP. Awesome, right!! Well I ended up scheduling appts for my mother, myself and my daughter. We had a Friday before Mother's Day Spa day and it was fantastic. My mother received her mani at 2:30pm and about 3pm we all were serviced by different techs in the pedicure section. We were all able to sit together and enjoy being pampered. My tech in particular, Tommie was cool. He wasn't too talkative, but interacted just enough to my liking. I usually prefer silence, but a little story here and there... comic relief, here and there, I did not mind. The spa was tidy and the pedi chairs were comfy. My mother experienced a new nail tech and she had some reservation about her, but overall we all were satisfied as this was our first time here. Parking is available on the street and parking garages (FREE) are within walking distance. Several shops and eateries are all within walking distance. This was a great day. The pricing... make sure you check out ahead of time, because for our four services it was well over $100. Have fun and enjoy life :)
Always great services! I'm always happy with my nails and I am picky. Highly recommend especially for gel manicure.
I spent almost $300 including tip, for my boyfriends to tell me they look crooked. Won't be coming back. Do not recommend
I've been to many nail salons in the area, trying to find one close by that I can call my home salon and Michael Michele is second to none in my experience. When it comes to my nail style I prefer to keep it natural and clean with pops of color and occasionally some design that is appropriate for my work place. If this is what you are looking for then I'd highly recommend this place. I've seen Kim for every visit and she has done a great job with an ombre dip powder nail and gel french tips. Each set has lasted me almost 3 weeks. She is so sweet and doesn't take too long to do my nails either so it works with my schedule. I also love the ease of being able to book in advance online by date and by employee. Wish every salon did that. It really helps those with crazy schedules. My only gripe of this place is that it is pricey given the location, but so so worth it!
Not my usual nail salon, but I wanted a new set to treat myself! Came in & was greeted plus told there would be a little wait. The layout and color scheme is beautiful! I love how well organized everything is and how well it is kept. Great location right in town center. I see they have regulars so that was a good thing to see. Already had gel on my hands, so it had to be taken off. I'm use to them using a drill for removal but a nail file was used. Took awhile & I was moved to another chair to be helped. I like how the polishes are still in their original containers. Wish my hearts were a little more identical, but I love them & the color! Here for about an hour and fifteen minutes with my total being $35. Will return with an update on how long they last. Been a week and it seems one of them is almost melting off the edge of my nail? Idk, but no chips thus far! Water was offered.
This has been the best nail salon I have found since I moved here! It's very clean, modern, and the staff is very welcoming. I love that they have the capability of booking your appointment online. They have so many options to choose from. They will get you in and out in no time. Highly recommend it!!
I was told wonderful things about this salon so I thought I would try it out! I visited last Thursday got a full set removal & a new set of acrylics. Kim was SO nice and gentle with my nails and did a wonderful job and I was so impressed with her service. I just wish she used more dip powder because I broke a nail the very next day. I didn't think much of it and booked a nail repair a few days later to fix it, I called and they took me the same day. Kim was not available and I had another lady repair my nail. She was cold and didn't even say hello. She didn't do a great job at a coffin shape but I was so ready to leave because she was so awkward and distant. Leaving the salon on my way home....while driving.... ANOTHER nail broke! How?! I had a photo shoot and needed my nails done and didn't not have time to go back! At the photo shoot while reaching to pick something up my nail RIPPED IN HALF! I haven't even had these nails for a week and 3 have broken. I will never return
Paid $150 for a basic pedi and dip manicure. The nail tech tried to talk me out of doing dip saying that gel is better for the nail and lasts longer. Looks like she just doesn't know how to do a proper dip because my nails looked like this after not even 3 days. She didn't even seal the fake nail to my actual nail and it makes it very hard to keep the nails clean underneath. In many places the dip doesn't even completely cover my real nail because she didn't shape them properly. I also had to ask for cuticle care and oil. She was going to completely skip that. I also had to ask on multiple nails to be shaped better. Absolute garbage for the price. I do not recommend this place.
I chose the basic pedicure, which was just that. It cost $10 more than I normally pay for a pedicure but was even more basic. The leg massage was very short and did not include a foot massage. My toes look nice so I'm satisfied. I've decided to try a couple more area nail spas for comparison. I'm guessing this is the industry standard and I've been spoiled by the shop I normally go to, where I pay $25 for a basic pedicure that includes a phenomenal leg & foot massage. The shop is clean and pretty. The staff at this shop were nice, but I wouldn't go as far as friendly.
From the minute you enter until you leave. You feel like you are actually welcomed here. Temp checks are conducted (until further notice) and compliant face coverings are required. Scheduling online is easy and they respond quickly but you can also call and ask for an appointment. They sterilize their nail instruments and use liners for pedicures! (That's a plus and a must for me!) I love the dividers they put in place since they reopened .. works for covid mitigating standards requirements and as a privacy divider. So don't be embarrassed to get a pedicure ladies AND gents! Pricing is super fair and if you ever have a question about "why" is it the price it is they will more than gladly break down the price for you. But please remember.. you are getting quality when you chose this nail salon. The only CON I have, and has nothing to do with the salon, is parking. But! If you plan your appointment time right you can definitely grab a spot right out front. If not, town-center has plenty of free parking garages so you will definitely find parking. If you're new to the area or are tired of your current salon, check them out! I personally think they're the best. Michael has personally made a dip color of MY liking before (yes, spoiled for sure) and Michele is so detailed oriented! I've also seen grace and tommy for my gel mani/pedi and they are great! Great conversation with all the techs, which honestly is so nice to be able to chat about life to your nail tech ! Best nail salon in Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Chesapeake area! No seriously. They will save your color number so you can revisit it in the future even if you don't remember the number (aka me, I never do)

Amazing job Ms. Sandy and Ms. Kim! I love the end result. The vibe was absolutely amazing!! My sister and I were ready to go to a new nail salon in the Town Center area. Tired of being hurried by other nail salons in the area. We arrived at 6:30pm. Ms. Sandy my manicurist was professional and provided a great service. They offered beverages and great music. You will not be disappointed with the manicure or pedicure. I highly recommend this establishment. Be clear and precise on your service up charges may be applied to your services. read more

I scheduled an appointment for me and my friend to get basic pedicures / dip powder mani & UV gel mani the morning of and we were seated right away. The pedicure took less than an hour and was beautifully done. Mimi and Tommy did a great job on me and my friend's manicures as well. We were there from 11 - 12:30 which is a pretty good amount of time. Mimi was quick with my feet but made sure to get rid of the dead skin (I'm a nurse and am on my feet a lot). She took her time with my mani though and I really appreciated that. I paid $90 for both so I may change what I do for my manicure next time but I'm still glad I did it. I will be visiting again soon for sure read more

I have always been in search of my "go-to" nail salon and I think I have found the one. I have a tight schedule and I loved how convenient it was to book my appointment online and choose who I wanted as well. Mike did my gel-x manicure and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and meticulous with his work. I am very picky when it comes to my nails to how the color is applied and how even the nails are shaped. I like to keep my nails very neutral with no crazy designs. Mike by far exceeded my expectations and I left with perfect nails. read more

The place is pretty and the customer service when coming in is excellent. I was greeted right away and though I didn't have an appointment, got service in about 15 minutes. Lots of COVID 19 protection measures, which is awesome. I just came in for a gel polish change. I had gotten a manicure somewhere else and hated the color application on my nails. The tech did just that, remove the old gel polish and add a new one. The result was pretty bad. She applied the polish unevenly and it looks terrible. I was charged the full price of a manicure. Honestly, I was so disappointed with going to another nail salon and getting such a bad result, and spending my money again, that I just left. read more

I visited this salon for the first time yesterday , nice place, many color options, pretty quiet and they had good reviews. I arrived 10 min prior my appt time , picked my color and waited . I waited over 20 min after my appt time, and my pedicure literally lasted 20 min . I upgraded to their deluxe pedicure, seems you pay the extra to get a scrub . I'm assuming their classic pedicure doesn't include that . Even after all of that I was fine, just ready to go by this point... then I got home and notice the poor job on the nail polish . Unfortunately I will not go back , it was not worth my drive, the wait or the price . read more

I had one of the best experiences with nails at Michael Michele Nail Spa. Making appointments were super easy and the my nail tech was super chill. She made sure to accommodate to get the design exactly the way you want it. She was super gentle with me and I had no pain. I asked for super short almond shaped nails so that I can still type and go to the gym and it was perfectly shaped. Will be coming back routinely :) read more

HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE NICEST NAIL SALONS IVE BEEN TO. Michael and Michelle are such down to earth and friendly people! You can tell clients come back because they are just such hospitable people. Their staff all have a great sense of humor and are detail-oriented with their work. PLEASE ASK FOR LINDA. Linda expertly crafted my nails and spent time to delicately get the design the way I wanted. It's been about a week since I've gotten my nails done, and they haven't budged or chipped at all! I've gone to Linda a couple times and her creativity never disappoints. I usually provide her a color palette and theme and she takes the creative liberty to transform my nails. I will definitely be regular! (As with any service establishments, be sure to call to make appointments, because they definitely want to make sure they can accommodate everyone in a timely manner especially when crafting work of arts.) read more

I treated myself to a fancy mani/pedi and it was a delight! Lots of services available. I loved that I could do dip powder on my hands and have the matching shade in regular or gel for my toes. Very friendly staff. Clean environment. Highly recommend. I can't wait to go back. read more

Came in on Monday 7/29 for a simple gel manicure with my friend. Lina came up to us and told my friend she couldn't take her because she had a client and my friend wanted chrome done so she took me instead. I recently got acrylics off so my nails were damaged a bit. That same night my nails were already chipping not even 5 hours later. Lina butchered my cuticles that they are still looking terrible almost a week later. The gel was sloppy done and was not clean at all, not to mention it was $62 dollars! I called to see if someone else was able to fix her mistakes since my gel manicure peeled off by Wednesday 7/31 not even 48 hours later. I thought I was going to be able to come in this past Saturday 8/3 but unfortunately something came up and I wasn't able to make it due to limited availability. I called them the night before 8/2 to see if I would be able to be rescheduled and I have yet to be called back. They marked me as a no show after I called. I will not be coming back to this place after this type of experience. read more
What a treat! In town for a quick visit and booked a manicure with Kim. Totally worth it! Salon is super clean, staff is very friendly, and I'm so glad I went. Map software didn't get me quite there, kept sending me around the corner. But I found it (between the coffee and chocolate shops). If I had more time I would get a pedicure. Kim isn't chatty, but I like that. She did a great job shaping my short nails, and was thorough. I look forward to coming back when I'm in town again. read more

My nails don't look terrible but I've had nicer looking cuticles and better painting on the sides of my nails at other locations I didn't see pricing listed anywhere but a no frills pedicure was $30. No massage or gels or even lotion but my toes look alright My nails were $63 in a short coffin shape. They charge $15 for gel. Rhinestones were $8 charged for the shape and "length" read more

It was me and two other people that went for our appointment, all three manicures. I and one other got gel while the third got a regular manicure. After two days, my friends gel manicure started to crack and chip. However, my own started to chip and come off over the next couple days.
