Worst experience ever. Seriously. Can't say enough how awful it was. I made an appointment for 2pm on a Thursday and called ahead to specify that it was my wedding the upcoming weekend and I would want gel shellac polish on my natural nails (no tips) and a pedicure. When I arrived it's like no one knew what I was talking about and they kept asking who I wanted to do my nails. I haven't been here in like 10 years so I said I just wanted someone who could do nice gel polish and who would not file or cut my nails to the quick. I was ushered to a seat to get my nails done first and had a lady who seemed very flustered and distracted. I was trying to decide on the colors I wanted and wasn't in love with all the options - so she took a few out to show me and I still didn't like them, I wanted an ombre pink and she said she could only do that on fake nails... hmm... She was very abrupt and rude with me so I stopped her and asked her if she had a problem or another appointment or was in a hurry bc I had made an appointment and had called in advance and was getting married this weekend and wanted my nails done right. She changed her attitude for a short while and said no, she had plenty of time for me... go wash my hands. Things were a bit better for a short while but a group of women came in at the front and, while she was actively putting polish on my nails, she kept glancing at them and staring at them and trying to listen to the conversation happening. So she was making mistakes with the polish. What the hell?! She was barely looking at my nails. Again, I asked her what was going on bc she seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but doing my nails... around this time she made a big mistake on my polish and, instead of taking it off, she clipped my index fingernail on the side into the nail-bed/quick and pulled it right off - I saw it start to bleed. I was furious. I told her I wanted to leave. The manager overheard and came over and I explained what was happening and that I had been nothing but polite and had even called to make an appointment to avoid this and asked her to be easy on cutting my cuticles and nails to the quick bc I HATE that, and she wasn't even paying attention to what she was doing - so I wanted to leave. She said they wanted to make me happy and make it right so they would do my pedicure and fix my nails later if that was OK. I wanted to leave right then and there I was so upset but I agreed bc I did need my nails done, I was moved to a pedicure room and another older gentleman was brought in. I selected a nail polish color I didn't like when he actually put it on, I asked for a pretty light pink wedding OPI color that they had on the wall at the front and was told it wouldn't show, so I was being shown some other colors that didn't have the tone of light pink I wanted, I eventually chose a metallic peach I didn't love and painted over myself later at home....waste of money. He was nice and kind, making small talk. He eventually also fixed my fingernails and did a pretty leaf design on them at my request. They weren't perfect and had some flaws but I was ready to go - it had been over 3.5 hours by the time I left. He gave me a lotion for the issue for free when I checked out and apologized. This was an incredibly awful experience and I would never, ever consider coming back. They did try to make it right, but I spent a long time here during a stressful time for me with family coming in and calls happening when I had made an appointment and explained what I needed and wanted over a week in advance. I will never, ever come back after this experience. It still cost me $98 - no discounts here! Thank God I had a gift card as a bridal gift, bc I would've been even more furious! read more

This nail salon ruined my nails for the weeks following. I came with a large party and it took over an hour wait for me to get a regular manicure (no gel). Every time I encountered an employee and told them that I was going to get a regular manicure, they kept trying to convince me to get gel. I'm not even local, so I wouldn't return to get follow-up appointments anyway. When I finally got my manicure started, it had been an hour and fifteen minutes. The manicurist picked at my hangnails and skin surrounding my nails for no less than ten minutes until my skin was raw and exposed. Then, she used a machine to whittle down my nails, shaving the surface of my nails down. Days later my nails were extremely brittle from being shaved down so that every single one of them broke and cracked. They were all very damaged and are still recovering. It's been over a month since this happened and my nails are still brittle and growing strange from this experience. Very bad experience. They should not have shaved down my nails without asking. read more

Very disappointed in the service and attitude I've seen in some of the workers. I've been going to this salon formerly known as MP Nails for over 15 years and the last few years I have seen the service quality go down. Workers do not seem happy and a few are not friendly at all. I will not be returning after yesterday's visit. The lady that did my daughters nails was rough with her and made comments blaming her for messing up. She would push her hands down in an abrupt way. I was in another area so I couldn't hear. My daughter told me after we left. She was very uncomfortable with her nail lady. It really seemed like she hated her job. I also observed her ask this man what he's been doing since his toenails were overgrown. I felt embarrassed for him as she said it loud enough for everyone to hear but I just couldn't believe she would say that in the first place. Both my daughter and I have have small cuts and scratches. Mine is hurting today and I will treat it to avoid infection. I also got a $25 manicure. I soaked each hand for a couple of minutes. My nail were quickly hand filed. Got a short hand massage. When I asked her about a clear nail polish, she said no you don't need that. I really could have done this myself. I regretted getting this manicure. We paid way too much money for such a disappointing experience. No more Luxe nails for us. I barely gave 2 stars because the nails were painted nicely and my lady took her time in her pedicure. read more

Worst! Nail experience I've ever had. I came to get a gel manicure. The nail tech was having a bad day or something because she was man handling me. She pushed extremely hard on my nails with the cuticle pushers. My nails still hurt a half hour later. The tools she used weren't in a sanitized package like most nail salons I go to. So I'm not sure anything was sanitized. She also left a big gap in between my cuticle and my nail . So the paint on my nail looks like it was done a week ago. #55/2020 To kick off my mom's 65th birthday, my sister made appointment for all 3 of us to get nails done. I with a manicure and she and our mom pedicures. Well, I didn't exactly start at the same time as them because the nail tech hadn't arrived yet so I had to sit around and wait awhile. When he finally showed up, Lee actually did a great job and the gel nail polish he applied was perfect and is still intact. We didn't talk very much but he was quick. I did notice his row of manicure tables did not have the plastic dividers between techs and clients. We both had on masks and weren't talking anyway so I let it go. The rows behind and in front had dividers though so I don't know what's up with that. The place itself is pretty and larger than it appears to be from the outside. Since I finished before my mom and sister I was able to sit on a pedicure chair with them to chit chat. The nail techs doing their feet were talkative and funny! I really liked them as they made us feel comfortable. My sister treated us so I can't comment on price. It's in a strip mall so there's lots of parking with many restaurant choices around! read more

I went a couple days ago to get a pedicure. The worker tried to pressure me into getting gel but I was fine to put my foot down and insist that I wanted the basic. She commented several times about my decision but moved on. I am not sure what went wrong but I got an ingrown toe nail and an infection. The polish was fine and the design is cute...but now I have pain and a problem. If you are going, I would suggest telling them not to trim your cuticles or nails and just doing them at home before you go. read more

DONT GO!!! If you do, make sure your nail tech is NOT Hong. I repeat, her name is HONG. This isn't the first time I went to this nail place. This nail tech did my friend's pedicure and nail tech was very rude to her. I went back few days ago with my daughter and I have my pedicure done. She's the rudest person Ive ever met working at customer service related industry. She has a nasty attitude no matter how nice you are to her. From start to finish, she gave me an attitude. She seemed like she's burnt out doing her job and very unhappy person. She was rushing, making rude comments the whole entire time. After my pedicure, she asked me to go walk to the drying station. Halfway there, I stopped because my toes were touching and the polish is still very wet. She said " Why, you messed it up already?" I was upset like it's my fault and like I want it to get messed up. So she tried to fix it and she's very frustrated doing it and she's been dropping everything around her. This is not even the whole story but I hope y'all get the point. I was trying to attach photos but the files are too big and won't let me. I have nail polish on my skin and she did a horrible job cleaning up my cuticles. Very poor service. read more

It was aweful. 1. I waited 25 minutes in a pedicure chair before anyone finally got to me after I had a scheduled appointment. 2. I was then told there was only 1 pedicure for $40 available 3. I was STILL waiti.g for someone to wrap my nails 4. By 10:40 I got up and left 5. Got to my car and was approached by the Owner or Manager who incessantly told me about HER hardships (trust me....I get it. I have 2 businesses at a standstill presently) and kept cutting me off when I tried to talk. 6. I informed them I was VERY upset and perhaps they should tell people about their VERY limited services and manpower before they waste their time coming in so they are aware. No one wants to wait 30 minutes for ANYTHING especially when you are assured FROM YOUR CAR TO COME IN FOR YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT and I would be writing a very strong Yelp review. 7. The Manager begged me to come in and would do the pedicure for free if I would come back and get the manicure (I really only wanted a pedicure to begin with) 8. I got back to a table and she started using the file machine thing on my already horrid pandemic nails and I said to please just use a file/buffer. 9. She stops and tells me to go to a pedicure chair and starts clipping my toes and filing. Tries to sell me toenail repair stuff! In the middle of everything. 10. I ask why she isnt wrapping my nails and she leaves and comes ba k and tells me to soak them both in a little bowl on my lap EHILE THE MASSAGE CHAIR IS GOING 11. I then ask what is going on with the water for the pedicure (and this is where it gets really good) and she tells me she doesn't have time now to do my ALREADY SCHEDULE AN HOUR AGO PEDICURE BECAUSE THEY HAVE OTHER CLIENTS and will just paint them and they will be fine. I come back another day. I have been doing that for the past 3 months!!!!! Why would I make an appointment to come for a pedicure. Have you tell me theres only one kind at one price and leave with my nails in worse shape then they have been and now no polish on my un pedicures nails? Not to mention I have been coming there since they opened. So much for opening back up and relaxing. What about me? The client who has now been there for an hour. Sat with FOUR different people and has had nothing done!?!?!? 12. I did get a TON of information about how horribly they are suffering and no one wants to come back to work bc they are making more money not working and how they cant order from China and how they can only buy one gallon of acetone and can only get it from China.
