My haircut was awesome. Just what I needed. Hair is healthy and beautiful now! Me and my friend accidentally made appointments for the wrong location and they were able to fit us in and helped us work it out. Gyanna did exactly what I asked for. She was really easy to talk to and welcoming. Glad she could do both of our hair! The price was very reasonable for a quality salon, recommend!! read more

Great haircut-one if the best I have received in a long time. No pressure to buy or request services I don't need.

Their technicians are just okay; some seem better than others, so I'd be very particular just making a random appointment. I found their prices to be higher than many of the local salons. My real issue is that this salon is so difficult to work with. They have an online appointment system, but it does you absolutely no good because it doesn't make an appointment. All it does is prompt them to call so they can do a hair consultation over the phone. How is that even possible? This time I was trying to make an appointment based on the treatment suggestions from the last time I was there. Even with that, they wouldn't confirm the appt. without doing a hair consultation over the phone. I wouldn't even know what to tell them because I was going to let her do what she suggested. This week, I happen to be in all day meetings at my job. I have access to the internet just not access to have a full-blown conversation with somebody. Even with that, I found time during a break to return one of their two phone calls, and they never returned my call. The next thing I know I'm getting a threatening message from the technician saying if I didn't call by the close of business, my requested appt., which they had already moved on their own accord, would be canceled. I like things to be easy and hassle free. I have no use for this type of drama when I'm just trying to make a simple appointment to get my hair highlighted. read more

Have had my haircut here several times. Because of an unexpected doctors appointment I had to cancel my appointment. Gave them a 23 hours noticed, but they wanted to charge me $25 for cancelling. Told them that is ridiculous, a doctors appointment is more important then a haircut!! Still wanted to charge me, I told them no, and would find a new cutter. Their haircuts weren't that great!! Also everytime I went I had a new girl. They come and go here. read more

Superior service! Got me in at the last minute. Rebecca is a styling goddess and did a fantastic job! Hubby says it's the best haircut I've ever had! I agree! Already made my next appointment! Everyone was so professional, welcoming and friendly. 6 stars! read more

My first time there with Joanna and I'm thrilled. I walked out feeling like she listened and worked well with my particular hair. first ever experience with new stylist that I didn't want to go home and wash my hair out. SO happy!!! read more

The salon itself was so cute and my stylist, Ainslee, was awesome! When I arrived, we spoke about the style I was going for. Throughout the cut, she checked in with me multiple times to ensure I was satisfied with how my hair was looking. I definitely left with a great haircut, and for sure recommend this salon! read more

Joanna is the best! I wandered into this salon last year to fix something my former stylist had done to my hair in a rush. Joanna came through and has always offered great advice. The products they sell are very good and typically priced like other salons. I completely recommend! read more

Loved my wash and cut by Joanna at Redmill! She was very informative on how to take care of my natural curls. Great cut and great conversation!! I will be going back for my next cut! read more

Joanna is fantastic. I got my hair cut at Fringe today and finally got the cut I was looking for. I can't say enough about the fact that Joanna listened to me and also had the skills and confidence to do a cut that went beyond the basic long layer cut. I will definitely return and highly recommend Joanna and Fringe Salon. read more

I saw Adrienne for a cut and provided pics of my cut and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She was very kind an listened to what I had done before with my hair. She explained to me what she was planning to do. I felt completely comfortable and happy since it was my first time at a salon in VA beach and was new to the area. read more

Got a men's cut from Kelsea at the Kempsville location. She was very professional, listened to what I wanted and totally delivered with the cut and style. read more

This was my first visit and I scheduled my appt ahead of time to get a haircut and blow dry; the lady on the phone said it would be $35+ roughly, so I came for my appt and they charged me $70 for a haircut and upcharged me for "thick hair." She didn't do anything extra all I got was a simple cut and blow dry. I usually don't write bad reviews but on top of that the stylist was also unfriendly and a little rude to me. I didn't want to argue with her about the pricing afterward but I feel as if it was unfair. I would just recommend going somewhere else. read more

I was able to book online last minute and get my hair done. Chrystal was amazing and helped me start the process of getting my hair back to the platinum blonde that it was a few years ago. The salon was clean and had great measures in place in terms of covid. Highly recommend! read more

Strictly going off reviews for Fringe, I gave it a shot. I'm super hesitant about trying new salons bc Ive def had my fair share of bad selections in the past. But I'm so glad I found this one. Chrystal exceeded all expectations!! Not only did she get my color request spot on, but she brought my hair back to life and made it so beautiful again :) I am one happy mama and so stoked I have found my forever hair home! read more

Chrystal was my hair stylist at the Red Mill location. She was super sweet. She let me know what she was doing with my hair as she went along. After leaving my hair was frizz free, cut the way I wanted and super soft. I love my hair cut and will definitely be returning in the future :) read more

Got my hair done here by crystal and I showed the her a picture of what color I would like to get my hair done she said she won't be able to get it that color and I was fine with that and I showed her another picture that maybe a little close to the color I want and she said she could do it but it turned out bad. She did not do my highlight when it would look like it blends. I asked if I could get it redone or get a refund because I paid a lot of money for something I did not like. She did a terrible job on bleaching my hair and now my hair is so brittle and breaks every time I brush it. read more

absolutely loved coming here. chrystal made sure i was comfortable and communicated what she was doing the whole time. prices were very reasonable & i am extremely happy with the results. i will definitely return!! read more
