I recently went here for a basic trim for my hair because I felt like my ends were dead. Overall, I left feeling happy about my haircut from Chrystal! She washed and trimmed my hair exactly how I wanted. I'm also very picky about my bangs and I was surprised I left the salon feeling good about how she trimmed them. I told her I was thinking about growing my bangs out (initially had front bangs that I pushed to the side because they were getting long) so she cut them in a way that would allow them to nicely grow out. She told me she was going to blow dry my hair after the cut, but I asked if she could skip the blow dry because I usually let my frizzy/curly hair air-dry. After my haircut, Chrystal let me view the sides and back of my hair with a mirror making sure everything looked just the way I wanted it to. She also offered for me to come back later in the week (free of cost) if I noticed any uneven parts in my hair when it was dry since I didn't let her blow dry it and get any flying hairs or what not. Coming out of quarantine and back to work, I went to Fringe after a disaster of a haircut and color at another local salon I had previously been to (I even showed her a picture!). I was really spoiled with a great hairdresser before we moved, and I'm really picky with color and cuts, and no one could deliver, until now. I can say with the utmost confidence, I'm not going anywhere else but Fringe. My hair went from clownish (and nothing like I asked for), to sophisticated and elegant, and more along the lines of what I wanted. Fringe Salon is very cutting edge, beautiful, and the staff is very pleasant and welcoming. CHRYSTAL is amazing! She is the only stylist that my daughter will let touch her hair! She is very knowledgeable, kind, and she creates exactly the look that you want..... if you say cut 1 1/2 inches, she cuts exactly 1 1/2 inches! She also gives good advice on helpful shampoos and conditioners for hair that has been damaged due to long-term illness medications. She really does strive to give the best possible experience. I cannot express enough how fabulous my stylist, Joanna Morgan, was/is. She took my over-colored JET BLACK hair and made it the prettiest copper color without damaging my hair. She was attentive the entire time and worked in sections to make sure she got all the black color out so the color she put on would be uniform and even. The cost of the color correction, bonder, and haircut was what I expected and reasonable, but the level of care and skill she showed was out of the park, phenomenal. I've been getting my hair done by Chrystal here for a little over a year now and am always very happy with the results. She always takes time at the beginning of the appointment to ask what you want done, and communicates what she plans on doing to your hair. She always takes her time and never seems rushed or in a hurry. Just today the scheduling system had accidentally double booked her for one of my appointments and I didn't listen to the voicemail asking me to come at a later time prior to arriving at the salon. Instead of turning me away when I arrived she adjusted her schedule and was able to do my hair with the same high quality as any other appointment. Highly recommend!! read more

I was a walk-in and Chrystal stepped up to the plate and took care of me! I have very long hair that I have been cutting myself for almost (20) years and she was very attentive to the style I wanted and she confirmed with me what she was going to do before we got started. My hair is so much better! The cut is perfect and I bought the product she used on my hair as well (trybe/sheen spray) because it is very light and didn't weigh my hair down. Looked up multiple salons who had short notice for appointments. Fringe was the first salon that was available to schedule me with a day notice for a long appointment. Michelle is an absolute hair wizard! Highly recommend her to anyone. She took exactly what I wanted and made it happen, and she did it all without frying or drying out my hair (went all over blonde/ice blonde). She knew exactly what she was doing and kept the hours of foiling entertaining with conversations. Their website is very user friendly and makes it easy to book an appointment online, with luck they had an appointment open the very next day. Fringe is a very cute salon and the personnel there are very friendly. Chrystal was great and asked questions to make sure my haircut would fit my lifestyle. Heidi is an amazing colorist and stylist. She has so much knowledge and experience I trust her completely. I have had long hair and went super short to now growing it back out. She knows exactly how to work with my hair so it looks great every time. I also have her color my hair in fun colors and it always comes out looking so natural it's amazing. A friend recommended Fringe and I'm glad she did! Joanna was very welcoming and took time to examine my color and match it. She did an excellent job and then gave me a really nice cut. It was a well kept salon and everyone was appropriately distanced from one another. I would definitely recommend this salon, but be aware that this is not a cheap place (about average with the salon I used in Greenville, SC before moving to VA), but I'm willing to pay more for quality!! read more

BEST SALON EVER!! I never get my hair cut, so finding a new salon was scary. GO TO HEIDI!! I didn't know how to explain what I wanted exactly, but she somehow knew what I was trying to say and made it happen! The price was out of this world too! My hair was down to my butt and I wanted some framing highlights. It was under $200 for both. She took her time and was super sweet. She has a kind soul and is also very humorous.
