I highly recommend Hue Salon. I scheduled an appointment with Adanis (my first time there) for hair cut, style and color. I had an "idea" about the style and color I wanted, but I couldn't quite articulate it. Adanis was so nice, professional, helpful and very patient. I love my new look and I've received so many compliments! read more

They burnt my girlfriends scalp, don't go here, all she wanted was highlights and she ended up with 2nd degree burns on her scalp

Hi, I was debating writing this review but if it can help others then so be it. The lady/owner is so nice and I left feeling good because my hair was styled by her in the salon. I asked for my thick hair to be thinner some but not to the point where I barely have enough hair to wear in a ponytail. I would only learn of this destruction after I went home and showered. My new baby has thicker hair than me. I'm a few months postpartum looking for a boost of confidence and am now dealing with the worst adult haircut of my life. My hair texture is ruined and I'm so embarrassed. I just wear my hair up everyday because I don't want anyone to see. I wish I read the reviews before I came here, seems someone else had an identical experience of her hair being thinned out way too much. read more

This is a beautiful, relaxing salon. Karen is brilliant with color, gives great cuts, and does not skip a beat to work with hair "chipping" in between cuts (thanks, Karen). ;) After many years of coloring my own hair as well as periodic professional color services, I reached an age (50+) where I wanted to go with a more natural approach of growing my hair out without the traditional coloring. Karen listened, gave suggestions, and when we were finished with the color, it looked amazing. That was well over six months ago, and the very same highlights she gave me still look fabulous and are the perfect combination to accommodate growing my hair out with a more natural look. Highly recommend Karen's expertise and the prices at the salon are very reasonable for all services as well. Karen's a keeper. :) read more

Adanus is awesome! i had a fairly complex and specific idea that was totally new. i was looking for auburn but not too auburn, with highlights, a balayage and i had six month old highlights halfway down my head. the cuticles of my roots were super open so i did come back to get the roots toned down. she gave me two toning treatments and now it is EXACTLY what i was going for! on top of that, she's such a beautiful soul. so kind and tuned in. overall, i'm very happy with the experience. read more

This tucked away gem is located in the Pembroke mall has been absolutely WONDERFUL to me. If you're anything like me you probably want to find a good hair stylist to stick with, and this is the perfect place for that. Hue salon is relaxing and comfortable. Adanus takes such great pride in her shop and takes wonderful care of her clients, she is extremely professional and makes you feel like you are family. She communicates well to make sure that you are always comfortable with the services you are receiving. This is my third time seeing her during the COVID pandemic at the new HUE Salon and each time the salon has been clean, masks were worn. Down to the nitty gritty: The prices are great for the quality of service that you receive. HUGE plus! The salon staff in general are especially professional and you really get the true salon experience when you're there. I get my hair cut and colored or cut and deep conditioned (I rotate it with each appointment, lol) and I have never left the salon with any dye missing from sections of my hair (like I have other salons in the area),. I would 100% recommend this salon to my friends and family. Hue salon is DEFINITELY worth a shot if you are looking for a new stylist!! Can't wait to come back soon! read more

My experience was good. I like my highlights, it was exactly what I had asked for. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because something was applied to my hair, during the blowout, leaving it rather sticky and stiff. I washed my hair the very next day and loved the way the highlights made me glow. The salon's atmosphere is very beautiful and relaxing. The owner takes pride of the salon. Loved the vibe!! Will return again. read more

Overall, the stylist just had a friendly personality. She ruined my hair! She supposedly thinned it out and kept the same length. All she really accomplished is talking my ear out to where I didn't realize she was thinning my hair put wrong ( found this out after telling my roommate about it) it's worse than when I walked in. So many uneven layers, the first "layer" is EXTREMELY SHORT (1 INCH FROM MY SCALP) I can no longer wear my hair without product due to the short hairs that stick up from my scalp and my bun is the size of a golf ball! My hair use to be thick and healthy. I had a lot of it, I went in hopes for it to look the same, just weigh less. I'm embarrassed of hair cut now! I guess my expectations were set high due to the appearance and reviews of this place. *it was not noticeable at the beginning because she blow dried and styled it* now it's a daily disappointment read more

My visit to HUE Salon today was to first find out where it was located and meet the stylist(s) and find out what suggestions someone might have to repair some damaged hair. I wanted a perm, my hair needs body, but was convinced that repairing my hair first was the way to go. I was given some suggestions about how to repair the hair and maybe get some body. So, I was convinced. Karen (the stylist with whom I spoke) was good and seems to know hair. The concern for her was not doing things to my hair that would give her more money, it was to repair my hair. So, I'm going to do as she suggests and it can't make the condition of my hair worse. We'll see; I think she knows what she is talking about! read more

Karen is the best hair stylist I have ever been to From the moment I walked into the door, I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed. Not only is she the sweetest woman ever.. she's a hair magician !! She did my hair before my vacation to California back in May - and I'm still thinking about how amazing she did on my hair! I don't think I'll ever let anyone else touch my hair ! Karen did an incredible job on my hair! I had very damaged hair and wanted a fresh start. I was already nervous about doing such a drastic cut but Karen listened to me and gave me great advice along with a great haircut! She was very friendly and easy to talk to. I used to be so nervous going into a hair salon because I had never found a hair stylist that listened to what I had in mind and was never fully happy walking out. This time I was so excited to show off my new haircut! I will definitely be going back. I finally found my hairstylist! read more

I can't speak highly enough of this salon! Karen is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting and coloring. I have lived out of the area for several years, but I still make the drive just to have Karen do my hair! She gave me the most amazing highlights and the cutest hair cut! I also love what a perfectionist she is, she was meticulous in placing each and every highlight in the perfect place! 10/10 would recommend Karen for highlights, color correction, and an adorable hair cut! read more

Adanus was amazing! I walked into the salon for the first time ever in Fall 2020 wanting a drastic change from my long hair She took the time to really listen to the style I wanted, worked with me on color and tone, was precise and careful with her technique and really just showed passion in everything she did. I walked out with a long-pixie style and a blonde balayage and I COULD NOT have been happier! The salon is amazing, and its always decorated for the holiday seasons. Super cute, super good vibes. I will be recommending this salon to everyone. read more
