Driving past I stopped in for an impromptu pedicure. They were just opening the doors this morning so I was the first one in. Comfortable massage chairs, they did a great job on a pedicure and didn't cut my toenails too short like a lot of places do. This will be my new local nail place! read more

M & T Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

I've been in need of a new nail salon since I moved down to the Virginia Beach area. Tried so many places, and had yet to find one that was worth the money, and to where I actually got exactly what I wanted. That is until I went to brunch at Bay Local, and stumbled upon M & T Nails. Figured why not give them a shot. SO HAPPY I DID! Told them I wanted a dip powder manicure with coffin shape, and I got exactly what I asked for. Everyone is so nice, and they truly made sure I got what I wanted for my nails. I will 100% continue to come back here for my nail needs, and let all my friends know about this hidden gem! read more

M & T Nails - $45 Dip Powder Manicure. I love them!!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Let me start off by saying this place is a hidden gem! I popped in mid afternoon looking for a dip manicure and a gel pedicure. The woman who helped me, Kim had pristine work! She made sure to cut back all of my cuticles and she brought the polish down to my nail bed ( I just really love this look). She took her time with each nail which made for a lasting trip but excellent work! If you are looking for a low key, simple salon that is family owned and operated. THIS IS FOR YOU! I am interested to see how long they last. But I am for sure coming back!! read more

GO HERE! These folks are amazing. They I had my nails done on May 2 and 24 days later my polish is still strong (aside from a small nick that was my doing). I wouldn't normally let my nails grow out that long but it's just been a busy month and I couldn't believe it was performing so well. I wish I lived closer so M&T could be my usual salon, but I guarantee I'll be seeing them every time I'm in VB. read more

Every since I found this place I've stopped hopping from nail salon to mail salon. They know why they are doing here. Tom is great at pedicures and his wife Kim manicures. Kim does wonderful nail design. Way better than generic ones. Her work on flowers are gorgeous. Very friendly and customer service is great. Definitely very clean shop. I feel safe getting my nails done here. And most importantly very very affordable. Their prices are very reasonable. read more

The best pedicure I've ever had! The owners are meticulous, nice and the attention to detail is beyond compare! Highly recommend.

Listen y'all. We got here at 1919, they close at 1930 but it was my birthday & me & my sisters wanted to get mani/pedis. Y'all they really came through and served all of us, turned on a movie for us and brought us all refreshments! They didn't end up getting us out well after 2100. They weren't grumpy and didn't rush, they even provided us with extra service! I'm not from here but if I ever make it back I know exactly where to come to be treated like a queen! Thank you so much M&T for helping my end my birthday right! read more

Went to get my nails done on a Friday afternoon and I was lucky enough to have the entire place to myself. Tom & Kim make a great team. Tom worked on my left hand while Kim worked on my right hand. It was kind of weird as I never experienced a threesome at a nail salon before, but I was more concerned that my nails were not going to match my other hand. The establishment is clean, but the salon is small. It is the just the two of them, so there may be a wait if it gets busy. The salon is also located next to bay local and reef, so it can be hard to find parking during lunch, brunch or dinner hours. Service was top notch, but as far as the quality, I wasn't impressed. I got the gel full set with french tip. Not even two days later, my nails look like they are starting to chip/fade. Also, when he filed my nails, I think he filed way too much because now the tips of my fingers are sore. Even though the prices are good and the service was great, I think I may go somewhere else next time. read more

I have never left any reviews (for literally anywhere) before, but I definitely feel the need to review this place! They always do an amazing job. Every time I've been I've had great service and my nails have looked great! I've gotten gel manicures, regular manicures, and pedicures here. I definitely recommend making an appointment because the place is small and could get crowded, but it's so easy to call ahead and they're always very kind. They also have assigned parking because the lot is usually busy, which is super convenient! Give them your service if you're in the Virginia Beach area!! read more

M & T Nails - Mani - Nail Salons Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Had a gel mani and classic pedi. My nails look good, and they were very pleasant, BUT (and here's the only reason for the two stars) they trimmed - aka, cut - the skin at the ends of my fingers and toes, on the sides closest to the end of my nails. 2-1/2 days later, the areas they cut are red and hurt. I should've stopped them. My cuticles are fine, it's the sides of my fingertips and toe tips. To be honest, I generally zone out when I'm getting my nails done. Shame on me. Not going back here, and definitely not letting anyone "trim" my fingers and toes. At least it's not bleeding :( read more

Best manicure & pedicure I have ever gotten in my entire life!! Highly recommend. The couple that owns this salon is very sweet. They stayed late to finish my nails, when they definitely didn't have to. I will definitely regularly be going back. read more

Hands down the best mani/pedi I've had in VB in a very long time! Very basic nail salon--don't expect the spa experience--but they took their time with cuticles, had comfortable massage chairs (not giant massage chairs that you think should be comfortable but really aren't), and the red polish job lasted me a solid 10 days on my hands (which is saying something because I'm hard on my hands) and a good month on my toes with only minor touch-ups. And it was super affordable! Only like $35 for the awesome mani/pedi. I live all the way down at the opposite end of the Oceanfront, but this place was worth the drive. Overall, I can't wait to go back! Hmm, I wonder what my afternoon looks like... read more

Excellent in all ways. Knowledgable, professional and conscientious. Repaired damage from other salons, fixed nails damaged from running and instructed me on how to better care for my nails while continuing with my new long distance running plan. Without a doubt this is the nail salon I will recommend to anyone I know. It is a simple salon layout run by a man and his wife. Both are lovely people. read more

They do a wonderful job and are great at accommodating appointment requests. Large selection of color and fairly priced for the area.

Great pedicure and friendly staff with very reasonable prices.

Very nice and professional. The place isn't fancy looking, but it's well kept and they do good work.

I will come back and bring all my friends. Service is 10/10!! Since the service fees are so affordable, feel free to tip plenty. read more

Called for afternoon appt and they were very accommodating, asking what time I wanted. Husband and wife provided one of the best gel manicure and pedicure that I have ever received. Very clean, polite and professional, and quick yet precise making sure each nail and cuticle was perfect. Next time I am in town to visit family again, I will definitely get my nails done here. Outstanding!!! read more

Small and takes walk-ins. The staff is nice. Great for pedicures but the guy that did my manicure did a sloppy job. There was polish all around my finger and under the nail. He tried to clean it up with brush and remover and that was awful. I had a purple tint around my fingers. Also they only have fans to dry your nails under, which takes forever. He didn't allow the polish to dry enough between coats. So when he went to check my nails to see if they were dry; it left an indention because the polish was so soft. I will not come back I could have done better myself read more

This is a great place to get a mani pedi for $33. It's a family run place and I think there are only the husband and wife who work there, but they weren't particularly busy and I got to wait in the massage chair with my feet soaking and a free water bottle. The pedicure was very thorough for the price. It's a wonderful family business, no fuss and a great price for what you get. read more

I just recently moved back from California -and feel as though I'm constantly comparing everything in Virginia to CA, so trust when I give this place 5 stars I mean it. Yesterday I got arguably the worst manicure ever at this place. To start with, I informed the manicurist that i prefer my cuticles simply moisturized and pushed back rather than cut. She nodded that she understood but then proceeded to dig in and cut my cuticles very deep down. I wasn't certain she understood English very well so I politely explained again not to use the cutting tool on my cuticles. She replied in English "yes yes. No cut " But she completely disregarded that and started in cutting the next finger!!! so I withdrew my hand and shook my head no. At this point she just stood up and walked way. A different manicurist came to finish. The shellac was completely uneven. the color is splotchy and there is a hard bubble of a droplet on various points on different finger nails. The polish is on the skin around some of the nails as well. And to top it off even though I was getting shellac manicure and paying $25 for that, they additionally charged me five dollars to remove the existing shellac. Bringing the total for a lousy manicure up to $30!!!! And the place looked like a dump. I guess I should've walked out before I even started based on that alone, but I wanted to give it a chance since I was already there. read more

I'm 55, so I've been getting my nails done for quite a few years. M & T nails are truly terrific. This is a family run business with 3 generations tailoring their work to you. The shop is medical grade clean, the sincerity of the owners palpable, each are so kind and skilled with both hand (wife) and foot (husband). Here you get an upscale pedicure or manicure for a reasonable rate. Whether you like to talk or have quiet (I prefer quiet), they notice and make the experience what you want. I really like these people and love their work. Very highly recommended. read more

I took my mother-in-law, SIL and her mom here for an after-Christmas pedicure treat, and I cannot say enough good things about this place! I had initially bought a Groupon for us to a different place, but realized in the fine print that we wouldn't be able to go together. So I cancelled those and looked for other Groupons, but the reviews on the rest of the places were awful. I somehow stumbled upon this gem and decided to go with it because of the good reviews...& I am soooo glad I did!!! It's a small but very immaculate salon with the best customer service I could ask for!! We were sat down in the large comfy chairs & served ice cold bottles of water in front of 2 large screen TVs. The husband and wife team are very nice, friendly and thorough. They take their time and definitely pay attention to detail! It was a wonderful and relaxing experience all the way around!! I will absolutely be back and tell everyone how great this little family salon is!!! read more
