I wouldn't normally let my nails grow out that long but it's just been a busy month and I couldn't believe it was performing so well. Y'all they really came through and served all of us, turned on a movie for us and brought us all refreshments! They didn't end up getting us out well after 2100. Went to get my nails done on a Friday afternoon and I was lucky enough to have the entire place to myself. Tom & Kim make a great team. Tom worked on my left hand while Kim worked on my right hand. It was kind of weird as I never experienced a threesome at a nail salon before, but I was more concerned that my nails were not going to match my other hand. The establishment is clean, but the salon is small. It is the just the two of them, so there may be a wait if it gets busy. The salon is also located next to bay local and reef, so it can be hard to find parking during lunch, brunch or dinner hours. Service was top notch, but as far as the quality, I wasn't impressed. I got the gel full set with french tip. Not even two days later, my nails look like they are starting to chip/fade. Also, when he filed my nails, I think he filed way too much because now the tips of my fingers are sore. Even though the prices are good and the service was great, I think I may go somewhere else next time. read more

Every time I've been I've had great service and my nails have looked great! I've gotten gel manicures, regular manicures, and pedicures here. I definitely recommend making an appointment because the place is small and could get crowded, but it's so easy to call ahead and they're always very kind. Had a gel mani and classic pedi. My nails look good, and they were very pleasant, BUT (and here's the only reason for the two stars) they trimmed - aka, cut - the skin at the ends of my fingers and toes, on the sides closest to the end of my nails. 2-1/2 days later, the areas they cut are red and hurt. I should've stopped them. My cuticles are fine, it's the sides of my fingertips and toe tips. To be honest, I generally zone out when I'm getting my nails done. Shame on me. Not going back here, and definitely not letting anyone "trim" my fingers and toes. At least it's not bleeding :( read more

Hands down the best mani/pedi I've had in VB in a very long time! Very basic nail salon--don't expect the spa experience--but they took their time with cuticles, had comfortable massage chairs (not giant massage chairs that you think should be comfortable but really aren't), and the red polish job lasted me a solid 10 days on my hands (which is saying something because I'm hard on my hands) and a good month on my toes with only minor touch-ups. And it was super affordable! Only like $35 for the awesome mani/pedi. I live all the way down at the opposite end of the Oceanfront, but this place was worth the drive. Small and takes walk-ins. The staff is nice. Great for pedicures but the guy that did my manicure did a sloppy job. There was polish all around my finger and under the nail. He tried to clean it up with brush and remover and that was awful. I had a purple tint around my fingers. Also they only have fans to dry your nails under, which takes forever. He didn't allow the polish to dry enough between coats. So when he went to check my nails to see if they were dry; it left an indention because the polish was so soft. This is a great place to get a mani pedi for $33. It's a family run place and I think there are only the husband and wife who work there, but they weren't particularly busy and I got to wait in the massage chair with my feet soaking and a free water bottle. Yesterday I got arguably the worst manicure ever at this place. To start with, I informed the manicurist that i prefer my cuticles simply moisturized and pushed back rather than cut. She nodded that she understood but then proceeded to dig in and cut my cuticles very deep down. I wasn't certain she understood English very well so I politely explained again not to use the cutting tool on my cuticles. She replied in English "yes yes. No cut " But she completely disregarded that and started in cutting the next finger!!! so I withdrew my hand and shook my head no. At this point she just stood up and walked way. A different manicurist came to finish. The shellac was completely uneven. the color is splotchy and there is a hard bubble of a droplet on various points on different finger nails. The polish is on the skin around some of the nails as well. And to top it off even though I was getting shellac manicure and paying $25 for that, they additionally charged me five dollars to remove the existing shellac. Bringing the total for a lousy manicure up to $30!!!! And the place looked like a dump. I guess I should've walked out before I even started based on that alone, but I wanted to give it a chance since I was already there. read more

I took my mother-in-law, SIL and her mom here for an after-Christmas pedicure treat, and I cannot say enough good things about this place! I had initially bought a Groupon for us to a different place, but realized in the fine print that we wouldn't be able to go together. So I cancelled those and looked for other Groupons, but the reviews on the rest of the places were awful. I somehow stumbled upon this gem and decided to go with it because of the good reviews...& I am soooo glad I did!!! It's a small but very immaculate salon with the best customer service I could ask for!! We were sat down in the large comfy chairs & served ice cold bottles of water in front of 2 large screen TVs. The husband and wife team are very nice, friendly and thorough. They take their time and definitely pay attention to detail! It was a wonderful and relaxing experience all the way around!! I came in for a regular manicure and while trimming up my cuticles, cut me up in several places to to point where I was bleeding and they had to apply something to stop it. The next day, 2 of my fingers were sore and red around the nail bed, not attractive at all! Hoping it doesn't lead to an infection. In addition, the polish started to peel off less that 24 hours later on multiple fingers. They were very nice and I truly had high hopes for this place from the high reviews but I won't be going back. read more
