Awesome moving company. These guys were humble, polite, extremely hard working..... It is clear to me that this company has values of making the customer's satisfaction #1 and treating the customer with utmost respect. After my last moving experience, I was reluctant to hire movers - they're notoriously problematic - but under doctor's orders (stupid lower back!), I hired these guys, and was glad I did. They were great: punctual, professional, quick, and careful. Plus inexpensive. It was a small move - one ABF Pod (also highly recommended, incidentally) - but they had it banged out in an hour, and I was extremely grateful for them. I have used these guys for 2 moves in the last 6 months and they were great both times. The movers on both teams were friendly, courteous, hard working, careful with my stuff and very respectful of the premises of the apartment communities I was moving out of and into. Prices are very reasonable, these guys stay on task and positive the whole time. My new apartment building manager saw them moving me in and remarked on how great they were - asking them to leave business cards behind for referrals. A Simple Move does not take credit card payments, which is kind of inconvenient, but easy enough to plan ahead around. They're great! read more

Hired these guys twice within a couple of weeks. The second time there was a hiccup and my move didn't get on the schedule, but an hour or two later they made it happen. Hate to give a 5-star review, but no quibble at all in this case. These guys were terrific. Worked fast with not on ding or break.. Everyone was polite and personable. And the total cost was reasonable and lower than I expected. They were easy to schedule with and flexible as I had to reschedule the move date and time a few times. They responded promptly to all of my messages, if they were unable to answer the phone directly. The were courteous via the phone and quite so in person. They called several times the week prior to the move to confirm the scheduling. On move day, they were early and then efficient. They showed experience and expertise in not having to have me dictate every piece to be wrapped, etc. They took apart furniture as needed and handled delicate and sensitive electronics well. I had given my sixty days notice at my apartment because I had been jerked around by my property manager and needed to move with only three days left in the month. These guys were able to show up the next day, help me pack my family and get moved in a matter of hours. The guys were very considerate of our belongings and hard workers. The only downside was that the new girl who initially took my call and reserved my spot, gave me a load of inaccurate information. So I received a call the scheduled day of arrival and had to haggle with the guy because I'd been quoted wrong. It ended up costing a lot more, but I couldn't have done it without them. read more

A Simple Move did a very good job overall. The reason for 4 stars is they showed up about 40 minutes late. I had emailed them to make an reservation, which was very convenient, and was told I'd get a confirmation call a few days before. When I didn't, I emailed, but got no response. I ended up calling and the girl on the phone was very nice and apologetic and confirmed my reservation. I had reserved 2 hours and it took them about 2 hours and 15 minutes. I didn't mind paying a little extra, but I thought they could have hurried a bit... one guy kept answering his cell phone and seemed to be carrying all the light stuff, while the other guy did all the hard work! But, really can't complain too much as all my stuff was moved safely and it was the cheapest out of any moving company I sought out. I can't say enough about these guys. They were absolutely phenomenal. They showed up, immediately got to work, and made this the easiest move I have ever had. I had scheduled for 3 men to help move our two-bedroom apartment in Cheesman park to a new home in Aurora, they showed up with an extra guy free of charge and got the entire job done in exactly 3 hours. Not one scratch, not one nick in the paint, not one item broken, and they worked at a fever pace. These guys are truly great!! We had 2 movers (Ivan and Chris). In short, they were highly professional, polite, provided excellent customer service, and worked quickly. They arrived within their 2 hour window, and even called twice to give us updates on their ETA. When they arrived, they moved all of our belongings into a 1 bedroom apt on the 3rd level of a complex (w/out an elevator) in 2 hours. Nothing was damaged, missing, or broken. It was such a great relief, as my wife and had just driven our moving truck 3 days - from the San Francisco Bay area (with our small dog in tow)... You could imagine the last thing we wanted to do was unload our belongings when we arrived. If we moved again, I would use this service again without fail. I am so grateful to Jason and Marcus from Simple Move. I had to move from a one bedroom on a second floor to a house that was set way from the parking lot and no easy way to move stuff in. Jason and Marcus were on time and came right in and started wrapping my furniture with blankets and wrap. They arrived at 7:30am and had moved all the furniture out by 8:15am. They also moved some smaller boxes that I couldn't fit in my vehicle. They had everything moved into my new house by 9:30am. They even put together my bed, my desk and put the mirror back on my dresser. They did not stall or milk the clock and I am very grateful for that because of being on a budget. This is the second move we have made with "A Simple Move". The first move was a 6,000 foot house and two storage units ten months ago. This time was an apartment to apartment move for our daughter in Westminster. The moving team comes prepared and on time with the proper sized moving truck and the correct number of men to do the job. They place a follow-up call the night before and a call just before they leave to your location. The people have always been friendly and are professional and courteous. They organize and stage with a sense of purpose. Both times there was no variation from the initial explained charges except for the actual time to complete. As others have stated no rounding of the hour. Dwayne the owner, helped and directed with the first large move. He was managing the office on the apartment move but sent others who it was clear has paid attention to his hands on training by their performance. My daughter had arranged for moving on her own with another mover who called two days before and said one of the trucks was out of service and they would need to slip the start time six hours. That was unacceptable and I contacted Dwayne to see if he could do a last minute move at the end of the month. To fit us in we all agreed to start early which was out intention the entire time for our schedule. Thank you Josh, Daniel and Dwayne for your help. I have used this company for multiple moves and I can honestly say that they are way better than the competition. They padded all of my furniture and even put the pillows from my beds in plastic bags in order to protect my expensive washer and dryer which I have never heard of or would have thought of. For the first time in my life I hired movers. I packed and they toted everything. The two men that showed up were professional, courteous and very hard working. They completed the move in good time. I felt sorry for them since I moved to a third floor apartment, but they kept saying it is not a problem and that is how they stay in shape. I don't know how they were able to stay in such good humor. I will definately recommend the company to everyone I hear is making a move! Moved on 11/17/13 from 3rd floor apt to house - had to drop a line to say what a wonderful experience we had w A Simple Move - have never used pro movers before but they certainly exceeded any expectations I had going into it - move took 4 hrs (just under $500 total) but had a lot of heavy stuff and it was worth every penny! We did NOT have a good experience with A Simple Move. The movers moved at an extremely slow pace, and it took nearly 7 hours for them to load the truck. All our items were already boxed and organized, so I have no idea why it would take this long...our apartment was only 1000 square feet! The movers were not efficient and often we observed two of the three movers watching the one organize the truck instead of continuing to load the items. And all of this was on our wallet, ticking away dollar by dollar every hour! I called and spoke with Dwayne the owner, who was very rude and kept interrupting me. We would never had hired them if we'd known how horrible the service would have been. I feel compelled to write a complaint by the fact of how disrespectful Dwayne was to me after being very nice and helpful to the movers. I called Dwayne and AJ at 7 o'clock last night and they were able to at 7:30 am today. Not only did they save us, but they were incredible. Two guys started, then another two showed up. We found these movers on Yelp and booked them for our October move. We had Dwayne and his crew move us from a 2nd story, 2 bedroom apartment to a house about 15 minutes away. His prices were very competitive and did not charge for his driving time. He and his guys were polite and respectful of us and our possessions. He called us the day of and let us know when he was leaving. There were 2 items that were broken and he never offered to pay the 60 cents per pound that is required by law. This was the disappointing part of our move. We moved with another company from CO to CA and had nothing broken, only to move 15 minutes away and have 2 things broken. I was also disappointed that there was no paperwork before our moving day to confirm that he would be coming and what services he had promised to provide. read more

We recently had our floors done and had a lot of our furniture scattered through out our home and garage. Due to a recent surgery on my right wrist we needed help getting our home put back together. We hired Dwayne and his crew to help us with this task and are very grateful that we did!! These guys were great! Dwayne and crew were on-time, fast and very reasonable. I had some special moving conditions (older high-rise buildings) both in the place I was moving out of and into the place I was moving into. This was stressing me out a bit -- but Dwayne handled it all without a problem. I was shocked at how fast they had everything loaded on the truck at the old place and were ready to go. I was moving out of a one bedroom condo so I didn't have a lot of stuff and I had considered trying to accomplish it on my own with a few friends. I'm so glad that I didn't go that route. Our furniture arrived in PODS from the east coast, and we needed some strong guys to help us unload and get everything into the house. Based on the yelp reviews, i called Dwayne and set everything up. Then i got called back east on a family emergency, and hubby was on his own to work with Dwayne and two other workers. Hubby reports that they were very careful on our new hardwood floors and very conscientious navigating through the house with bulky furniture ... no scratches or dings! After everything was unloaded, hubby asked the guys to stay to help unpack and start putting items away. Dwayne also broke down all the boxes and packing material and loaded them onto his truck to be used on his next move ... the best form of recycling, and it saved us from having to find dumpster space for everything. In the end, Dwayne and his guys were here for nearly 8 hrs (when they were expecting to be done after 4). Obviously we paid extra for all that extra help, but it was so nice that they were willing to work overtime without any advance warning to help us get more moved in. read more

1/31/13: This is my second time using A Simple Move and my second 5-star rating! This move was a mess - I will be leaving a separate review for U-Haul U-Boxes - the space in our boxes was not sufficient. Qwan, Little Richard and Tremaine were AMAZING! They worked with our furniture to break it down so we could fit as much as possible. They drove our give-away furniture to the donation drop. They completely went the extra mile and were punctual, kind, good humored, positive, efficient and all around great guys to meet. I HIGHLY recommend using A Simple Move if you can get these three fantastic people. From 12/27/11: We just moved the Friday before Christmas and had the most amazing experience with A Simple Move! I needed help two and three weeks ago-badly!!! What I liked about Dwayne and A Simple Move is that they have options that always saved me money. And as everyone knows, moving time is insane time and Dwayne made it simple. I really don't want to sound like and ad here--you need to experience it for yourself. Call Dwayne McFall at 720-429-3785. Here is why I recommend him and the company: 1) I am kinda picky--no really--I'm a professional and I just moved here with no real furniture and then I discovered Craig's List--I was busy buying furniture new and used from all over the Denver area. With Dwayne, I was able to rent a truck for the day..they drove the truck and loaded up quickly and even used their own blankets and wrap. Then they had to take everything up to my 4th floor apartment--it wouldn't fit in the elevator. They always had a "can do" attitude. I was impressed and I like to think that doesn't happen very often. 2) Timing is everything and when I needed help again, at the last minute--Dwayne was there to assist me (round two of buying entertainment centers on Craig's list with no way to move them). There was no guessing when someone would show up! 3) There are alot of movers out there--some good and some bad. All I know is that Dwayne was honest and fair everytime. They cost me half of what other "companies" were charging. So, hire whoever you want, but be sure to check with "A Simple Move" first...this way you can compare and you'll become a believer like I did!!!
