I was so upset after leaving this salon, I went back a couple days after getting a balance because the gel polish on my nails CRACKED which has never happened to me before, so I went back to get it fixed. Why wouldn't I go back after spending $65 and I left a generous tip even though the woman didn't know how to use chrome and my nails were crooked an uneven. I figured she was new and still inexperienced so I still took care of her. When I went back I was polite about it and They still treated me like an inconvenience and when they were done they "shoo'ed" me out the door! Horrible customer service, disrespectful and unappreciative of their customers. I will never ever go back to this salon and definitely don't recommend wasting your money here. read more

Today was my second and last time here. I had tried the gel the last time and had to get it off this time. They have to do some kind of "soak" or something and then he ROUGHLY tore the polish off my nail with the cuticle clipper. Painful. Then when he did the filing of my nail, he was VERY ROUGH and kept hitting my cuticle, cutting them. When I tried to jerk my finger away, he just kept grabbing it. Also, I painted them red and they are nicked and the one finger, that I told him about beforehand, was "crooked" from filing the nail wrong and would he please fix it. Do you think he did? Nope. Also did my toes and he was VERY ROUGH with the filing and the resulting cut cuticles - which in life is a REALLY BIG sanitary issue. Cut skin and the chemicals don't mix. When I was done drying my nails, I was going to go back and ask him to fix red polish on my skin but he was already busy with the next person. I will NEVER go back. read more

I've been a one hit wonderer as far as gel manicures go for a couple years. Actually I've given a few salons a second try but nothing to keep be loyal until A+ Nails. The salon is large and open with up to the minute stations and equipment. Super clean and very friendly staff. I've had the best gel manicure ever here...lasted 23 days! Had it not been for the new growth, I'd have gone longer. Brought my two grown neices for a triple gel mani-pedi fest, and all of us said it's the best ever. Highly recommend. read more

I moved out of westerville, but still drive over here to get my nails done. The salon is always clean and the color selection is amazing. I haven't found another salon in Columbus with so many color choices. Gels don't lift nearly as fast as other places either. read more

I tried to like this place and did at first. But after a few months, I started paying more attention to what really goes on. It's not sanitary! They don't use a fresh nail kit that they open in front of you. They use old, dusty, dirty tools that you know have been used over and over. I never once saw the nail techs clean any of their tools. I always made appointments for nail dip and color change on toes expecting to spend over an hour there if it is done right. I always felt rushed right when I walked in the door to pick a color (which they have a lot of and is a good thing). So I started coming before my appointment to take the time to pick my color. Now I'm at about 90 minutes to get my service done. If I wasn't rushed, then I was waiting 30 minutes past my appointment atleast. I'm still at about 90 minutes or more now. They overbook and noticed that they were taking walkins over my appointment. My last appointment, I waited 40 minutes past my appointment. I ended up walking out. I'd pay about $80 for my services every 2-3 weeks plus tip. You'd think they'd be more attentive. Also, only cash tips which can be a pain in this day and age. Back to the sanitary issue...I am an animal lover and have no problem at all with animals. The owner does bring in their dog, totally fine...until I saw the dog laying on the work station where our nails get done and the chairs that we sit in. Not once did I see anyone actually clean a work station with sanitary cloths. This dog had been all over everyone's work station. I'm not ok with that, not sanitary. Set up a bed area for the dog somewhere. Anyways, I went across the street to Extreme Nails and am happy there so far. The worst experience i've ever had at a nail salon i got a balance done and the job she did on my nails weren't great atleast 3 of my nails were crooked from where she shaped them into coffin and 5 days later my nail cracked doing literally a daily task. I called them and told them what happened and they said they would fix it for free. The next day i get there and the manager fixes my broken nail and doesn't put any effort into matching my nail to the rest of them so i have 9 coffin nails and 1 square nail and when i pointed that out he didn't fix it and tried to tell me there was nothing wrong with my nails and refused to give me a refund. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and would advise you to go somewhere else. read more

Nick one of the owners does my nails. He does the best job out of anyone else who has ever done my nails. I lost him for a couple of years and just went anywhere and every where looking for him and trying to find someone who does half as good of a job as he does. I never found anyone that came even close. One day my mom and I walked in and got so excited because we both found out guys once again. She goes to jason the other owner he also does a fantastic job. Now that we have found these two guys again we won't be going anywhere else as long as they are here. And to be honest we would follow these two anywhere they might go. The other staff here does a great job as well you'll never have a bad experience here with whom every does your service. They have plenty of staff so there's never that long of a wait. The place is very clean and spacious. The art work is very well place and beautiful. They also take large parties of woman. I tell everyone about this place and I will always promote this business. Wonderful people alway upbeat and they try very hard to speak English for the most part so people don't feel uncomfortable and that people always knows what's going on. Where to begin... Was shopping around for a new place to go after relocating. Let me say this the owner was great but my experience was so bad that I will be looking else where for a permanent nail technician.. I am a biter so my nails are short but have never been a problem for anyone else. I came here for a full set of acrylic nails but after refusing the gel nail polish 3 times after continuously being suggested that I use it the technician became catty and the service went down hill from there! My cuticles were snipped so poorly they were bleeding and sore for at least 2 to 3 days, no cuticle oil was used and once the faux nails for my full set were cut he didn't even match my finger nail length to make sure they were identical in length or evenly across for that matter. My right hand was alot longer that my left and I was told since I didn't pick the expensive new line of gel polish they offered my nails wouldn't last any longer than a week tops (lasted almost 3 weeks) and was adviced not to pick up anything heavy because my nails would break. Not sure if he was having a bad day or what but that did it for me. Please bare in mind I am not a knit picky person but this left a really bad taste in my mouth for this place. Other than that nail technician I actually really liked the place very pretty inside I would of complained but I was so ticked I had to get out of there. read more
