The image depicts a cafe counter with a green marble surface and a brick front, located in Vaughan, ON. Behind the counter, there is a neon sign that reads "Everything's A-OK" in cursive and large font. The counter has coffee-making equipment, including a coffee grinder and an espresso machine with a gold-colored panel. Glasses and cups are arranged on the counter, along with some utensils and containers. The background includes a white tiled wall with a shelf holding books and decorative items, and the overall setting appears modern and stylish.

This place is so aesthetic. Aritzia actually doesn't allow you to take pictures and videos. So weird. Drinks are OK. Chai tea latte is definitely definitely not good but the matcha is better.

a seating area with plants - The image shows a seating area with a curved green leather bench, three small tables with marble tops, and three wooden chairs with light-colored wood and simple design. Behind the seating, there is a wall of various green indoor plants, including broad-leafed and tall plants, creating a lush backdrop. The wall is tiled with white rectangular tiles, and three black wall-mounted lamps are positioned above the plants, providing lighting. The floor appears to be concrete, and the overall setting suggests a modern, indoor space with a natural, botanical aesthetic.

Finally checking out A-OK cafe. Their interior is so aesthetic. Such a beautiful coffee shop, and nice place to hangout after you shopped at Aritzia. Tried out their latte to go, price is kinda pricey, but worth it. I will be back to try their pastry and enjoy it dine-in.

sweet peach lemonade - A transparent plastic cup with a fitted lid contains a peach-colored beverage, possibly lemonade. The cup is placed on a green marble surface with white and dark green veining. The cup features the text 'A-OK CAFE' printed in white, with a small graphic of a hand pointing to the right. The background is blurred, suggesting an indoor setting.

Friendly staff who were able to show me their dairy free options! Very clean location! Parking is available 20 minutes free on the road or 1.25 every 20 minutes (just double check the time and days if the week in case it changes) Dessert was very fresh and served in sustainable packaging! Drink was also a delight with almond milk. Dessert with 2 12 oz drinks cost $20 but it's a more premium brand which shows with its taste (just maybe Not an everyday treat for the wallet)

Great Vibe, Disappointing Espresso (from an ex-Barista)…read moreStepped into this spot looking to grab some genuinely good coffee. As an ex-barista, I'm fussy--I hate spending money and not getting a quality product. Unfortunately, the coffee was a swing and a miss. I ordered one iced latte and one hot latte. In both drinks, the espresso was burnt. I actually watched the barista pulling the shots, and I could tell immediately. To make matters worse, the hot drink was barely a latte; it was essentially a cappuccino based on the absurd amount of foam on top. Plus, the milk itself was ruined. There's a certain temperature and texture for steaming milk, and this was clearly burnt milk that had been frothed way too aggressively. Aesthetically, the café is lovely--it's cute and a great spot to work from home. My recommendation? Skip the espresso drinks. Maybe try the matcha or a pastry instead. I definitely won't be back for the coffee.

And if it's a place in the middle of somewhere random, with no seating and looks like a factory, there must be something about this place. And I was very right. Bartholomew feels like a hidden gem with it's location and outlook, but inside are some of the best, or dareisay, the actual best pastries in the GTA. So much to choose from and so many options, you'll probably leave with boxes full like many of the others here. Be prepared to take out another mortgage with the amount you'll spend here. But it's so worth it. Buttery flaky goodness in literally every bite. I had the almond croissant and the chocolate cherry pastry and oh my gosh, their flavours are SO right. It's so fresh that it almost doesn't feel like I'm cheating. I'll be coming here again and again and again. Also, I reached out to the owners who confirmed that all of their pastries which don't have alcohol or meat items are otherwise fully halal, even down to the gel they use in some of the pastries! We love an inclusive bakery.

It is a LONG wait if you come to purchase in person (aka not a pickup order). HIGHLY RECOMMEND pickup option. We waited 45-60 mins on a rainy day. It is super popular! Some items were sold out due to popularity, but honestly not worth the hype. It is good pastries and a bit more unique due to their flavor combinations, but the execution feels rushed and dry. We had their croissants, which should be freshly made, but somehow it was dry, stale, and the only thing saving it was the filling. Not sure what happened as I've heard good things about it. Very much a swing and a miss. If we try it again, will definitely try to order for a pickup. Their sandwiches were much better, but there is standing room only in the cafe so its a pickup and go place. It is in an industrial location, so driving and parking is out of the way. For the location, it probably is the better option around (aka Vaughan), but either a bit west or east, there are better options without the long wait times. Try it at least once though, and try at least one of every item, you might find something you like, for me, it was their sandwiches, even though I was there for their pastries.

The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.

The espresso here is excellent - well-bodied in flavour, medium roast (I think?), and pairs nicely with the sweetness of the cakes & pastries. There's also a wide selection of small personal cakes to choose from - just make sure you come early since they do sell out! We shared the cream & crumb cheesecake (simple, classic, and incredibly creamy!) and tiramichoux (think a tiramisu profiterole - such a fun twist!). Looking forward to my next visit already :)

The service was prompt and efficient, and there were a few spots inside for seating. It was quiet on a Saturday afternoon when we got there, but more people started coming in afterwards, and got some iced matcha (despite the cold, haha)! The hojicha latte was tasty as well, it tasted similar to the ones we had in Japan.

That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. I understand their pain hahah)
