I dream of this place! I wish I was kidding, but sometimes I wake up and think of when I can eat these pastries again. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who loves scones or cookies. My family and I came around 11am, and they were sold out of most of their scones, but were working on a second batch. I suggest to go early so that you can get a wider selection. Every scone was delicious, soft on the inside, buttery, with enough crust on the outside. The cheese and jalapeño ones had a perfect amount of kick but were not spicy overall (which I loved). The sweet scones were also amazing! Every cookie we ordered was soft and delicious. We also ordered the matcha lemonade, as well as the turmeric latte, which I probably won't be getting again. A charming little cafe with whimsical decor and delicious treats. We stumbled upon it while browsing yelp and so glad we tried it out. They serve Fortnum and Mason's teas along with baked goods. We didn't try their afternoon tea service but want to come back for that. The cafe was pretty crowded even though we came on a weekday evening so it might be better to try it during daytime hours when folks are at work. The prices are reasonable for an afternoon tea cafe as you are paying for the ambience as well as the food. read more

Honestly, I was so excited to try this place but after waiting 30 minutes for a piece of toast with some brie on it and random chips from a bag on the side and watery matcha for $40, I don't know if I'd be returning again. Nice aesthetics in the place though. read more

Chic cafe in Caledon, boasting of some interesting eating options. We particularly enjoyed the Hummus Board and the Hot Chocolate. The cafe is a Laptop Free cafe and is very cozy. Gilmore Girls-esque café in Caledon, just outside of Brampton. Cute vintage touches, even a vignette set-up in the restroom - not sure how hygienic that is, but it was cute nonetheless! Interior is quite small with a handful of small tables and 1 longer table that looked like it was set-up for Afternoon Tea. Not much room as you step-in if there's a line! Counter is literally a few steps from entrance. Americano was decent, not great. GET THE SCONES tho! Seems like the most popular item there and for good reason too! More seating outside, but almost pointless come the cooler weather. P.S. I noticed that there were nothing to dry hands with in the bathroom...except tissues? read more

However, the reviews online looks so good that I encourage my husband to backtrack 18 km and I am so glad we did. Everything was perfect. We were looking for some good coffee and a place to chill and this was a great find! We had a cafe mocha and a tiramisu latte and enjoyed them thoroughly. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Small and quaint. For the price and portion size, quiche is not worth it; flavourless. They don't want your patronage as you can only be there for an hour. Still finishing our meal and were told others were waiting for a table. We got dessert with intent to have with our tea, and were told it had to be boxed up to go. Not a good experience. Such a cute cafe in Brampton! I've been here a few times now. The atmosphere is extremely modern but welcoming. Their scones are amazing!! I also usually get their iced chai - pretty consistent both times I've gotten it and not overly sweet! My friend once got a coffee cake which she enjoyed too! This is a cute local hang I could see myself coming back to time and time again when in the area! The staff is pretty friendly too and each time I come in somebody is baking behind the counter which probably means that whatever they sell is fresh! Definitely try the scones if you come here - you won't regret it! read more

Update April 2018 The cafe has undergone some recent renovations and a change in ownership. It's unfortunate to say but Butter&Cup doesn't have the same feel as it did prior to the switch. While the new decor and updated layout looks fantastic, the feel of the place got very cold and became somehow like every other coffee shop. It's the small things that changed but I believe have made an impact ie. Smaller coffees, smaller scones, only 1 choice of soup and a jump in prices. I don't mind spending a little more especially when shopping locally, however, I can't justify spending $6.75 for 2 slices of bacon, 2 slices of bread, 2 slices of tomato, lettuce and some mayo. The front staff hasn't changed and they are still as delightful as ever. This review doesn't mean I won't go back, but won't go as often anymore. read more

Recommended to me by my co-worker and also finding it on Yelp, I decided to check this place out. The scones were sooo yummy! Both savoury and sweet, we tried one of each: cheddar and chives and the blueberry ones. Came with butter and it tasted great! The cheddar and chive had the right amount of cheese and flavour. While the blueberry l scone was just divine, we ended up getting another one to go. I also ordered a mocha which was pretty creamy and thick but I wished it to be a little sweeter. I have only been here once (so far!) but what a delight it was. Small and intimate, it's a comfortable place to spend a little while chatting with a friend, sitting at the window counter to watch the world go by, or even working. The owners and staff were invariably friendly and helpful, and were pleased to hear our feedback a out the treats and drinks we got. I just got an iced latte, but it was so strong and delicious. There was no mistaking this for a coffee-flavoured milk drink! It was the real deal. I also ate some banana bread with chocolate chips in it that was really tasty, too. My friend got a cupcake (If I recall correctly,) and a tea, and she was pleased with her stuff, too. Given that the Butter & Cup is in a part of Caledon still being developed, I was impressed with how much traffic they had. I even saw some people I knew! I suspect Butter & Cup will want to expand at some point, because the space feels a bit cramped already, but that's such a minor thing. The place was great and I look forward to the chance to head up to Caledon to do it again. read more

This place was super cute and my coffee was amazingly delicious. I found this place when I was looking for a cute little coffee house that my friend and I could go and visit and hang out in near our place. Toronto suburbs don't necessarily have the cutest places I was really really excited to find this place nearby that was super quaint and made you feel like you were in a different city. I had an egg croissant and a hazelnut latte and my friend had a nice coffee. We both loved our drinks and we would definitely be back another time. My friend actually loved it so much that she came back with her family if you days later. I've been meaning to check this place out for awhile as there's only a few interesting cafes in Brampton. We had two lattes and shared two scones (one sweet and one savory). The scones were delicious and there was a good variety. We enjoyed the lattes as well, but found them a bit overpriced, especially for the location. Even though they had just undergone renovations, I wasn't a big fan of the atmosphere. It was loud, not particularly comfortable and the ventilation isn't the greatest (it was overly warm and smelled of bacon - which I know some may like, but it was a bit much for us). Having said that, the food is worth coming back. And certainly if you are just looking to pick something up it is a good option. read more
