Vivian has been doing my nails for quite some time! The service and people are always pleasant! I love the way she hand draws my designs and the nails lasts for a month or longer. Nails came out nice but I was almost kidnapped by some men in a white van outside while I was waiting for my ride. This is a very sketchy and scary location. I was in the area because I was running some errands and I honestly did not know what I was going to expect. I did not really read all of the reviews... I just looked at a few pictures of the nails that were available on Yelp. Parking wasn't bad- I was able to find a spot right in front of the building...The building was in a busy strip center so if you are looking for seclusion and relaxation...you won't find it there, but what you will find is a family of not just nail technicians but customers that are deeply embedded in friendly conversation with staff members and each other. While there, I met several friendly guests, they mentioned that they had been coming to this location for years and you could tell that the staff was genuine because- when I say they laughed almost the entire time I was there with their clients LOL it was a beautiful sight to see people from various backgrounds all getting along in a tiny but warm and welcoming space. They had excellent customer service and their work was superior as well as extremely affordable. I got an extra long set of nails with powder, five different colors at that, a spa pedicure with shellac on my toes a double layer of two different colors, and my daughter got her nails painted and her toes painted all for exactly $100! You literally can't find that type of pricing anywhere, if I would not of gotten my nails long my full set with powder would've been 35 for medium length and 30 for a shorter length... again, you cannot find this pricing anywhere. They may not offer you drinks or fancy beverages but their work makes up for all of the extras. There were different girls that were coming in and out asking for various sets of nails that they saw on Instagram and the nail techs were happy to attempt to replicate the designs with no problem and I must say their nails turned out beautifully. Overall this was a very nice experience and I will be back very soon. read more

I would not recommend going to get nails done at this place. My first reasoning is that it's a very small nail shop with a long wait time. My second reasoning is they overcharge me when I only want short acrylic nails and polished toes, they charged me 75 dollars when it should be cheaper considering the length of my nails. I genuinely love this place! I'm very picky and finicky when it comes to my nails because I want it perfect in every aspect. I care about the smallest details and it is a bit hard to please me. I usually go to Kim and she knows exactly how to do my nails. I get acrylic and sometimes for special occasions, I'll get details like rhinestones. For my nails, I get the coffin shape but I also ask for it to be more skinny/narrow giving my nails an even slimmer look. Often times, if you do not speak Vietnamese or English well it is hard to get what you want in specifics. If you have a picture, that would really help them understand what you want. They customize the nails to the way your nails are so they compliment your overall appearance and hands. Although the place doesn't really look so asthetic, they'll get your nails perfect with all the right materials. They're all very hard workers as well. A major reason why I always return to this nail salon is because they don't charge an arm and a leg for their spectacular work. Other places will charge more for a shitty job done and call it a day. This place really does good work. I would highly advise that you come in as soon as doors open or on a slow day like a Sunday or Monday. This place gets filled up pretty quick and it is very secluded. There is rarely any parking and the nail shop is in a very sketchy area. Lots of stragglers and homeless people around this plaza ALL of the time. It is not the most clean or safest location. Went yesterday (12/18/12) for spa pedi, gel refill and brow wax. The pedicure was okay, except the woman scraped my ankle repeatedly with the scrub bar leaving open sores on my ankle. The real problem happened when I went to get my nails done and brow waxed. A different woman came and had me soak my nails in acetone. She was gone for 30 (THIRTY!) minutes after that, even after I asked the first woman TWICE if she was coming back. It is very bad for your nails and skin to soak that long. When she came back, I asked for pink and white powder on my natural nails, which are quite long enough. She spoke little English and got out the fake tips, which I absolutely don't need. She was completely incapable of understanding what needed to be done. At that point, I decided that even if I could make her understand, the job she was going to do would likely not be up to my standards. So I told her to forget it and just wax my brows. (Yes, I left with my nails partially destroyed by acetone. I will go back to my regular salon to fix them.) The very first application of wax just above my left eye was so hot it burned me badly. She had not tested the temperature first and then had the nerve to argue with me that she had not burned me!!! I should have just left right then, but I had an important meeting in the morning and couldn't leave my brows like that. Her "skill" with waxing was non-existent. After applying the wax, she barely pressed down on the strip, and then instead of ripping it off in one smooth motion, she would tug a little, then a little more, then a little more, 3-6 times per strip!! It was EXTREMELY painful. She then spent an inordinate amount of time afterward tweezing because she said it "wasn't even!" My brows came out ridiculously short and mis-shapen. When I went to pay, I asked if I could speak to her manager, and she told me that she and her sister (who wasn't there) were the OWNERS!! She asked me what the problem was. Really?!? I said, you burned me. She then argued with me, in front of two other customers (who had heard my scream of pain!) that there was no way she had burned me because my skin wasn't "red" enough. I finally had enough and said pointedly, "YOU HURT ME! And I'm not going to argue with you about it." Then, an hour too late, I left. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T EITHER. Completely unprofessional, sloppy, painful, and argues with customers?? Walked right on in was told to pick a color and sat in the chair right away. Was asked if the water was ok and asked for hotter water. And got exactly what I asked for. I didn't catch the woman's name that did my pedicure but, she was very professional. I had some issues due to my own attempt to do my own at home pedicure. She took the time to fix my mistake and didn't chat to other coworkers about it. She knew what was wrong and just fixed it. Only charged $20. I will definitely be back next time I'm in that part of town. I live an hour away. read more
