I'm someone who's huge on reviews (non-incentivized) and personal experiences people have with a company or product, so Einstein caught my eye. From the first conversation with the representative when I called, I knew I was in good hands. The conversation was calm, every step was explained, emails and communication was fluid thru moving day. The truck was much bigger than I was expecting as well as the ramp placement at the side of the truck vs the rear which made me nervous, but luckily we were able to make it work in my apartment complex. Sully and Kenan were friendly and understanding overall. Asked questions along the way as needed, and took some of the stress away from what typically comes with a moving day (especially when it comes to this being my first time moving things into a storage unit). I do have to note that the move may have finished sooner had one movers not been out of commission by his lunch choice longer than expected... Also, seeing the feet of my couch during the move has me a bit nervous about how they'll look when I remove my furniture from the unit. From a few feet away when I saw them on the cargo elevator and being placed into the unit, they seemed like they were angled and scratched a bit from positioning during transport. The email after my move stated that I can inform them if I notice any damages, whenever it may be, so I'll have to do a thorough check when I next access or move-out of the unit. Other than that, I would for sure use them again, possibly even for when it's time for that move-out. Omar filled in the details of the job to get us the right crew, and got us scheduled for the very next morning. Lorenzo and his team showed up early, communicated clearly, and holy wow did they work fast. In less than 90 minutes they moved what took our team 6 hours to do. AND they moved a fireproof safe by hand, with sheet strength and a good knowledge of physics. The cherry on top is the value - super-fair, plus a discount for booking through Yelp. Beau, the owner, visited us and gave an estimate that was very competitive. Throughout the move process they had very good communication. Before the move, we packed up most of the things ourselves, but Phoenix offered to have some of their office staff pack up the fragile items like dishes and art work on an hourly rate. This really helped! On the day of the move, they were on time and they brought in 10 people to pack the van and get us on our way quickly. When they moved us, they did not consolidate and transfer our things to another van, our things stayed in the same van until it reached its final destination. When they unpacked, they were very professional and efficient. To summarize, we had a great experience moving with Phoenix Express and I would highly recommend them for anyone to move with!

Unfortunately, my TV was damaged during the move (unclear if it was from the POD, but I doubt that since the TV was against the king size mattress). One of the movers later stated that he had noticed damage to the TV box when he unloaded the tv from POD but did not bring it to my attention at the time, which was very disappointing. However, the owner Joey, took the situation seriously and handled it with genuine empathy and accountability. I was extremely frustrated from the move (it's really a lot to handle) and Joey was kind and patient as he listed to me explain what happened. He suspended the team member involved, made it clear that he wanted to put the customer first, and worked with me to make things right. After I provided the original receipt for my TV, he sent me a check for its full original purchase price and did not waste time to go through insurance. I didn't buy additional insurance, so at most if Joey had went through insurance, I would have received $40/$50 back for my tv at $0.60/lb. He said he wanted to make sure we reached an agreement that felt fair. I truly appreciate Joey's customer first mindset. Although the damage was frustrating, I greatly appreciated how Joey responded. He's been in business for 25 years and stated that accidents happen and what he cares for the most is customer satisfaction. His integrity, compassion, and willingness to stand behind his company ultimately left me with a positive impression. On seven previous moves over a span of 36 years, never was our TV so flimsily packed. Past movers built a wooden crate to fit the TV, with abundant packing around the TV inside. Not so in this case. When movers unpacked our TV in Austin, there was a large, long crack in the screen and the TV wouldn't work. I took it to Bond's TV Service in Austin and they determined that the TV could not be fixed. A replacement panel for it was no longer available. I spoke Nick at Fantastic Moves about the loss and he indicated that their insurance would pay us 35 cents/pound, which translated to about $27. How ridiculous! He agreed to speak with the owner of the company about my request that they provide a more fair adjustment for our loss, but no action was taken. Silence was their response. We had Fantastic Moves put our things in storage in Austin for about three weeks while we bought and closed on a house purchase. We then hired Unicorn Movers to bring our goods from storage to our house. So Nick immediately blamed the local Austin movers for our loss, refusing to take any responsibility. I am attaching photos of the cracked TV and the crushed corner of the cardboard box that Fantastic Moves used for our TV. You be the judge. If you value your TV, don't hire Fantastic Moves.

I didn't even know that was a thing! My wife and I were both left scratching our heads when we were told the locks in question didn't even apply to our top-loading machine. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

Maria was very responsive and patiently addressed all my questions and concerns prior to making an appointment. Rates are competitive and, most importantly, STRAIGHTFORWARD. There are too many moving businesses out there that enjoy adding extra/hidden charges -- so you keep guessing until the move's done and usually end up paying a lot more than you initially planned. With Full Circle, there are no hidden costs. The only variable is time. Which brings me to the third point -- efficiency. They're quick and have legendary stacking skills!
