The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. And will leave you alone if you just want to browse cute baby stuff. This is the only store I found maternity jeans, pants, tops, and bras that I loved and felt comfortable in during pregnancy. The baby clothes, supplies, and toys are all high quality and have lasted through two kids and were handed down to friends. Better for the environment and lower cost per use. All of the items are adorable too! It is a well curated, locally owned store, with a great selection.

In the space between pregnancies, it seems as if all brick and mortar maternity stores have disappeared. Buying maternity clothes online is a sure fire way to make you feel like garbage about yourself, which has been what I've been going through. I walked into the store and immediately found an employee who was completely happy to help me find something! She asked about my fit preference and color preference and whether I wanted over or under the bump jeans. She came through with a HUGE selection to try on. I found two pairs of jeans that made me feel really good about myself. Some people might consider them spendy (jeans run $70-$200 depending on brand) but I feel that it's worth it considering that these clothes will probably be worn daily for the next year. They also carry my favorite brand of bras, so I found a nursing bra in my size (which, again, is unheard of in a brick and mortar store...yes...H cup is a real thing!) and it was so nice to get to try something on before I bought it! Oh, I forgot to mention that they carry all range of sizing! It's so nice to go into a store where they realize that some pregnant women are not a size 6! And they have baby bump pillows to try on with your clothes so that you can see how adorable you'll be full-term! Keep being you, Village Maternity! This mama feels pampered today!

Parking has been consistently stubborn. The parking garage I used on my visit today, North Garage on Tuesday 24 March 2026, had themed levels. I opted for the C Level which was color of pink and animal of cow. At the elevator, a cow "moo" sounded when I pressed the button for the elevator. By this level, more spaces were opened up, so a better day for parking of recent times. Walkways in the village are open to the natural elements. Some of the businesses have umbrellas available for use in shopping. The grounds and pedestrian spaces have tended to be clean in my experiences. In 2010 and 2011 when I was a student at the University of Washington, I walked to University Village so parking was a non-issue, those were quicker turn around in time visits though I did not have the carrying/storage space of a vehicle.

It's a good mix and something is bound to catch your eye even if you weren't planning on getting something in particular. I came here for lunch over the weekend and it was bustling. There was plenty of seating around outside for people to lounge around with their families. It appears pretty kid friendly too, with some water installations for children to jump around. There are also courtesy umbrellas to use for inclement weather - a thoughtful gesture. I'm not sure how they manage cold-ish weather though. Probably not as fun to shop when it's freezing out, although this is a pretty rare situation. I also spotted a security guard, but I felt pretty safe throughout my visit.

I had a good experience here and was able to easily get in and out while shopping in the area. I'm a fan of Athleta joggers, and needed to order a few. While I was at U-Village, I decided to stop by Athleta to shop for joggers. The employee who helped me was able to easily order the items I wanted, while offering recommendations for similar styles. Since I was somewhat in a rush with an upcoming appointment, the employee swiftly placed an order for me, waiving shipping fees and letting me know when to expect my package and so forth. Easy peasy. The selection here is good, with a decent amount of stock in different sizes and colors. Store was well organized, and I could easily find the different styles of joggers and workout apparel throughout the space. No complaints.

I wasn't able to return or exchange the items because it had been over 30 days (40 days) since the original purchase date. These items were unused, tagged and I had the original receipt. I understand if I missed the cash return period (the holidays are busy, I meant to make the exchange sooner), but I was very unhappy that I couldn't at least make an exchange. I also made other holiday returns / exchanges that day at Vuori, Anthropologie and Nordstrom that day, and all of them accepted my returns for cash or exchanges. Final note: the quality of Athleta clothing has gone down over the years, but the price remains the same. I was trying on a jacket and I couldn't even zip up the jacket it was so cheap. I will not be making future purchases from Athleta.

Overall, this was a truly value adding in-person shopping experience. I've been loving the Gap brands under Zac Posen's direction lately and I was impressed by this store's inventory and organization. There is the elevator for continence since we tend to have a stroller with us. If not, there is the escalator. Everything is located on the top floor. The woman's section takes up half the store. Then you have the children's and the men's department is tiny. There are two dressing rooms available and a bathroom. The dressing rooms tend to be a little cluttered. I was disappointed the bigger handicap room was used as stock, so I had to try on clothes with the door open so I can keep an eye on my toddler in the stroller. The sale section is always stocked up and organized. Service is okay, I found myself standing next to two associates just talking waiting to get their attention, didn't so I went to find someone else.

The owner Gibran started talking to my daughter about making her a custom T-shirt and she said she wanted a velociraptor on it He said " how about a T Rex?" And she said "no a RAPTOR!" He and my daughter sat down (found a raptor template) and designed her shirt and when it was done she loved it. Then next time I went in, I was shopping for myself. I gravitated towards my normal looks, then Gibran brought me a few items. At first, I was like this is totally not me, I will look terrible in this and I tried it on and boy was I wrong. Everything he brought me looked amazing. There were a few things I was not convinced about, only because I didn't think I could pull them off, but I ended up buying two awesome sweaters and one shirt. Today my seven-year-old and I went in to check out some of their new things and again Gibran helped style me. He knows that I wear tights/leggings all the time, but that I want to expand my look. He showed me pieces that I could wear with leggings and new things that were a little bit different. Not only did he do that, but he explained why certain things looked good on my body type. I bought a few different pieces, including one that I wasn't sure about last time. My 7 year old asked for another custom shirt and she snagged a cool tiger hat. I got a Phinney Ridge hat for my 14 year old son too. This is the place you can go and know that what you are walking out with looks amazing on you and It's not just some sales person saying "oh yeah you look great" when you clearly don't. You will get so many compliments on your outfits. Go, visit them. You definitely won't be sorry.

I find that appealing because personally, I'd never stop at a kid's consignment without coffee, lunch, bakeries, etc nearby to combine experiences. One of the cool things about this business is that they have both used and new items, so it's a really good spot to browse for gifts, find something unexpected, or just check out toys. I really like that some of the toy displays had models available, so you could manipulate and try the item before buying. Decent selection of used clothing, although as usual the girl items are far more interesting than the boys' basics. Owner is very friendly, experienced, and professional! I see some salty reviews about people not getting as much money as they would have liked for their used items, and I'm a little confused about it haha. The owner is very polite and professional in looking over used items, and it's pretty much a thing at any consignment store that they take items for cheaper than you might be able to sell on OfferUp or similar services, but it's about the convenience and ease of bringing stuff into the shop instead of dealing with flaky meetups. You can decide to sell your items elsewhere if you feel like it, nobody is twisting your arm into accepting an offer hahahah. Definitely consider going here for baby stuff instead of big retailers like Target or ordering on Amazon! I will recommend this store to friends and family and definitely be returning next time we are on the hunt for baby items :)
