Team champion was the quickest to come out to us and within days they did some patch work and set some traps up in our attic and garage. He said he's come out 2 times to inspect and collect any rats that were trapped. After a few days we heard one get caught. We called the guy for two days to come collect the rats and he finally showed up to do so. After that he said he'd come by to set more traps a few days later. It's been 3 weeks and nothing has happened. I texted him to ask about it and no response. Totally ghosted us. I understand people get busy and they have other customers but a bit of communication goes a long way. If you're looking for a company that will follow through on their word and have communication throughout the process then DO NOT hire this company. We have moved on to another company to help us out with our situation.

Feeling desperate, I researched and requested quotes from numerous companies here on Yelp. After receiving several quotes, I decided on this one company because they offered the best customer service, made it clear that all my pest issues would be handled, and had unbelievably affordable pricing. A time was agreed upon for a technician to come by our home within twenty-four hours to begin spraying a pesticide mix and to set off a bug bomb fogger. The technician arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment, walked the entire property, and immediately got to work. The tech was on my property for less than 2 hours and crawled under the house to spray every single inch. He also sprayed our two yards, porch, patio, driveway, and around the garage. The technician also repaired all basement screens and other areas where bugs can return. While the tech was making these repairs, spiders, termites, and water bugs were seen crawling out from under the house onto my driveway and simply dying on the spot. This went on for the next hour. Needless to say, I was extremely happy and satisfied with the service I received from this company's employee (sorry, I do not recall his name). He was UNBELIEVABLE, friendly, hard-working, and highly committed to resolving this very stressful issue for my family and me. I am glad to report that since I had this treatment performed at our home, I have yet to see a single insect or any other critters anywhere near it.

We first had another company come out to inspect our home and give us a quote. The other company barely looked inside the crawl space and told us it's subterranean termites and that we also have the other type of termites that need fumigation, but we can just do subterranean for now. When they sent us a quote, I think they just offered a 1-year guarantee. Josh from AABC came out a couple days later and was extremely thorough with his inspection. He walked through the entire house and even went into our attic. He educated us along the way about everything from termites, homes, etc. and answered all of our many questions. He told us that we do have both types of termites, but it's more pressing that we take care of the subterranean ones. Since we plan on remodeling parts of our house, he said we should hold off on tenting it until afterwards, in case any new wood has termites. It was comforting to know that despite our house being over 40 years old and having never been tented, there was minimal damage to our wood. Josh encouraged us to get at least a 3rd quote, but we didn't want to. Josh's quote was roughly similar to the other one (maybe slightly cheaper, but he offered a 10-year guarantee! Moreover, we liked Josh and believe in relationships. We felt Josh invested the time to earn our business. His crew came out and treated the perimeter and crawl space. During the process, I came in contact with about a half dozen team members, all of whom were friendly, professional, and personally concerned with our wellbeing. That was important because I found that ridding a home of rodents is not easily achieved. The initial step was to survey the house, seal potential entry sites, then set the traps. The HS team completed the process and set up an appointment to check the traps. after a couple visits, we still heard the vermin scratching around. So, HS brought in a senior inspector who found a few open areas I never would have thought to identify (openings between the outside wall and the foundation that were tucked up underneath the visible area). Those areas were sealed and within ten days, we no longer heard anything. I check of the traps today revealed a large intruder had been eliminated. Home shield performed like partners in our quest to eliminated rodents from our home. They came back as often as needed without complaint and escalated appropriately to assure our problem was solved. And importantly, they never once questioned our reports of hearing critters.

After calling a few pros, we decided to go with Pal Pro pest control because of their honesty and professionalism during inspection. As an engineer, I am very keen to know technical details and the inspector was able to respond to my questions with confidence and a deep understanding of the problems. The treatment that we got at the time involved injection of termite stuff (likely termidor) around perimeter of home into the soil. This involved some drilling and injecting in areas near the perimeter of the foundation. About 1 year after treatment we saw some new subterranean termite activity. We called pal pest pro and they came out under warranty and reassessed the situation. We did some spot treatment but had some discussions about how we thought the problem may be deeper than anticipated. We decided to remove some of our LVP to investigate and we discovered some massive termite activity in our original hardwood flooring that was below the vinyl planks. We decided to remove all of our hardwood flooring and get the areas treated. It was a painful process but our termite team really helped make the treatment part easier. It's been a few months and we haven't seen any new activity. Only time will tell but I feel like we got to the root of the problem! I would recommend this company to my family and friends. They care about solving the problems and will honor their warranty in the event of any future issues. The treatment of subterranean termites is part technical approach, part dark arts and I feel like these guys got it all!

Dax was knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had and took time to do so where a few other quotes from other companies either seemed hurried or inflated values. Ironically all the companies I got quotes from used the same product so I went with PAL Pro because they took the time to explain the process thoroughly and price was competitive. I was able to make a request with Dax to drill a few extra holes in the area based on other quotes without extra charge since it was centrally located in the same spot. A termite was even expelled due to the product used so proof there was pests to be rid of. Great customer service and fast response time. I got 4 quotes from the yelp project tab.
