I got these items: - Double turkey burger (fried onions, ketchup, sweet pickles, and garlic aioli) - Coleslaw - Mexican Coke I got an estimated time to pick up my order. I got there early, as it was five minutes away by car. I went to pick up my drink order from Caribou Coffee before backing into a parking spot steps away from My Burger's entrance. My Burger is a local chain in the Twin Cities. It has apparently been around since 2004 and prides itself on using fresh ingredients. When my order was ready, I walked in. I got the most pleasant, cheerful man behind the counter. I let him know that I had a DoorDash order under my name. He nodded and brought out a paper bag. He then took a bottle of Mexican Coke from the fridge. He let me know that the Mexican Coke didn't have a twist-off cap on the bottle. He asked me whether I wanted it removed now or later. I went with having him remove it for me, as I may not have brought my bottle opener with me. I joked that I didn't want to try prying it off with my teeth, which made him laugh. It reminded me of getting the gobbler at Licks. It was my go-to burger before the franchise died in the greater Toronto area. I have not had a decent turkey burger replacement until now.
