We've only had lunch here but I hear the breakfast is just as good, especially the hash browns and tomato jam. We've had the Pool and Yacht, Raffi Luigi and the Gigi. Incredible! Their chicken salad is pulled chicken with white and dark meat, herbs and pepperoncini, etc. Really love it. The Giardinera is nice because it's almost blitzed in a food processor so it's smaller and doesn't fly out of the sandwich when you bite into it. They don't overdo the sauces either. Just enough on the sandwiches. The only downfall is that some things can be spicy, especially the potato salad. Like really spicy. So much so it's all you taste. That won't stop me from going back though. I crave a sandwich the minute I'm done. Oh and they also have a provisions case where you can buy packed items like pimento cheese, chicken salad, etc. Go there. You will love it! Open daily til 3pm. Closed Mondays. Breakfast has a cut-off time depending on the day, but lunch is served open til closed.

Everything tasted fresh and made to order. Skip the weekend rush in my opinion and check them out on a weekday--it made it incredibly easy to find seating and enjoy our food and the ambiance. Service was professional, fast, and friendly! Can't wait to try their lunch menu!

I had heard good things and it was on my list for a while so was excited to try it. Clean place. I ordered at the counter. They told me there would be a 10 mins or so wait for my sandwich which was fine. Ordered my 12 inch turkey pastrami which is their most popular sandwich and a bottled drink. The total was 22 and change before tip which I thought was a little steep. The sandwich came in 4 pieces. Had the pastrami, tomato, pickle, peppers on a soft bread. The bread was fresh and soft. The sandwich was filled well with a good ratio of filling to bread. The taste was very well balanced and fresh. I wish there was more of the pastrami. Overall, I had a good and tasty lunch even though a little expensive. Happy to support a local black owned business. I would give this place a try if you want a good sandwich in a friendly environemnt.

We had a grilled veggie sandwich and a build-your-own veggie, both on baguettes. In the world of veggie sandwiches, few managed to get a bullseye quite like this. Each bite was filled with freshly grilled vegetables, and the bread, a warm and soft vessel that accompanies the bright ingredients past the finish line. And the ingredients are top notch - from the broccolini to thick slices of onion. Even their potato chips were in-house. As vegans, food options are usually limited or not well thought out, so love finding a place where all components are top tier. I've been hearing good things about this place, so I decided to make my way to Victory Memorial Parkway and give it a try. I was surprised to find that they're not on Yelp yet, as they have been selling out of sandwiches regularly! I ordered the bodega buddy, the potato salad, and a cream soda. The sandwich was much larger than I expected and extremely filling! This would be a great meal after a long hard day of work, or to stay fueled up over lunch! It was yummy and the hamburger meat was balanced out by the fresh toppings like pickle-relish, and raw sliced jalapeños. The potato salad was a creamy homestyle dish with a bright twist through the use of fresh dill! I washed it all down with a cold pop from Northern Soda Company! Gotta love local businesses supporting other local businesses! They post their menu and schedule on Instagram, so look there first for any updates. That means there are little speakers next to each parking stall from which you order (the menu is near the speaker) and they will bring the food to your car. They used to bring the food to you on a tray, but now it is bagged up for you to either enjoy in your car or to take home. Other options are to sit at one of about half a dozen picnic tables, or there is seating inside the restaurant. Frankly, Wagners was getting a bit run-down, but they have spruced up the place in the last couple of year, with a well-deserved paint job, new speakers, and new picnic tables. They even have hand held credit card readers, which saves the waitstaff from making extra trips to process your card. The menu has all of the classics you would want, from a variety of tasty, juicy hamburgers, hot and cold sandwiches, meals that include fries, coleslaw, and toast. Their French fries are crinkle cut and excellent: crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The onion rings are good and you can have Chile in a bowl or on your hamburger or hotdog. There are milkshakes, desserts, kids' meals and smoothies. I've eaten here for years and the food is always reliably great, the service is always friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
