Patty wagon is right next to a sports bar with shared parking so it can get a bit tight in the parking lot but plenty of street parking available. Looks like there are daily specials/activities (see pic). When we walked in, we were greeted by the host who was our server and everyone's else server also, so clearly they seemed a bit short staffed as the poor gal was running around everywhere including pouring drinks at the bar. There is a jukebox and some claw machines to spend time on while you wait on your food so we did have an entertaining time perusing through the place. The food itself was ok, milkshakes were mid-ish (chocolate one was a bit too strong, never thought would ever say that in my life) also. The menu is fairly standard for a bar/restaurant. We did enjoy the cheese sticks as the breading on them was not standard/out of box and tasted really good so would recommend. It's a bar/hangout spot so unfortunately the bathrooms reflected that :( with being a bit dingy. With that being said, we are planning on revisiting on either trivia or bingo night soon and will update the review after that. read more

We were disappointed by some inconsistencies between the information on the website and our actual experience. The prices listed online were off by $2-$3 on nearly every item, which was frustrating when planning our family's visit. The website also advertises a 25% military discount, so we brought our family expecting to receive the discount. We were surprised to find out that it only applies to those currently in uniform. I think this should be made much clearer on the website to avoid confusion and disappointed customers. The food itself was decent, and our server was friendly and provided good service. However, the pricing and discount discrepancies made the overall experience frustrating. I would encourage management to update the website so the information accurately reflects current prices and clearly explains the military discount requirements. Tried something new. It was an experience that I may consider giving another chance...POSSIBLY. I had a toss up of interest between a turkey burger and pollock fish sandwich. I ordered the fish and chips because it offered more fish and I could share with my daughter if she wanted some in addition to her kids meal. The fish sandwich was like $13 and the fish and chips was $16 then it was a $2 up charge for waffle fries. I asked for the bread that came with the fish and chips was not informed about the up charge about any item except the waffle fries. I get my bill and was charged $4 for the torpedo grilled roll. What the f!!! That is a charge that definitely needs mentioning. I was pissed and would have just ordered the fish sandwich because I spent more on the fish and chips with a d*** piece of bread. Livid. The food...my daughter had the kids meal chicken breast with oranges and some apple juice. Reasonable kids menu $8. The quantity of oranges was pretty small in comparison to how much they would have offered for fries I am sure. The seasoning was cool on it. Now my food. My my I should have taken a photo. The food took awhile to come out and only to come out and be old looking fish. It looked like fish that had been cooked and under a light for too long where it was too brown. Not golden brown but like a chocolate brown in some places. The fries were the same. Then again that $4 roll. Not a great food experience. I forgot the young man I had as services provided but he was pretty darn bubbly and he was shocked at the $4 fee too. He was stellar service. Restaurant was not clean. Tables were all dirty even for the ones we were to be sat at. We asked for it to be cleaned, server came over and wiped table and seats down with a soaking wet towel and didn't dry it. She expected us to sit on completely wet seats. I asked for her to dry it off and she did. There was only one other table in there and service was still lacking. Food was fine. My medium burger was cooked WELL DONE but the fries were crispy as I requested. We were charged an additional $1.50 for Mayo on my burger. Without warning. Stopped in Saturday, 12/21/24 for a later lunch and received a warm greeting from Mindy. She appeared to be the only one working and was a bit busy when we walked in, but did not hesitate to acknowledge us and let us know she'll be with us. I have to say that goes a long way in my book and talk about excellent customer service skills. When she was ready, she sat us at our table of choice and gave us a few of her favorites on the menu. We went with the mozzarella sticks for our appetizer which were very good. I loved how light and thick cheese they were. For our meals, we ordered the grilled buffalo chicken sandwich and the patty melt with extra onion and extra pickle, and cheddar cheese. The entire meal was good. It's enough food to have leftovers for another time. I love how bright and colorful the restaurant is. It's fun themed inside. I was too full to try it, but they offer some fun milkshakes. The food is fine & well priced for what you get, I would have likely come back if it wasn't for the erratic service. There were two servers bouncing between all the tables & our drinks were consistently empty. We had to go up to the bar multiple times to get served. We asked for a pitcher of water on three separate occasions, never received it. Both servers would disappear for 10+ mins. Both of our bills were incorrect. Outside the service, there was a huge shifts from very family/kid heavy from 5-6 to more of a bar after 7, but still carried the family restaurant aesthetic. We went to the Patty Wagon because it was near an event we were going to. It turned out to be a location we've been before -- but, back then, it was a Mexican Restaurant. Now, it's a bar/hamburger joint. The prices are excellent and the food was good. My wife had a plain hamburger and I had their V8 hamburger. The V8 includes swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, and thousand island dressing. As requested, the hamburger was rare and the thousand island dressing was served on the side. The hamburger was a bit drippy and required two napkins, but that was to be expected with all of the toppings. It came with skin-on fries which were excellent and had a good taste. The burger is normally $8.95, but since it was Thursday, all burgers were $8.00 -- an even better deal. The service was friendly and I received a pop refill without even asking for it, which is always appreciated. Waited about 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge and take our order. while waiting a group of people came and started setting up for a San Francisco football watch party. it became very loud and obnoxious! finally got our drinks but no water like I had requested. I asked at least 4 times for water none was ever served. They brought us forks but no knives said they didn't have a dishwasher. food was ok but the loud football party had the sound turned up real loud and couldn't even have a conversation. Went about 8pm on a Saturday night. They were understaffed so the service was a little slow, but the wait staff was super polite and friendly. The three of us all had burgers. The girl was competent but seeing how slow it was she was off doing prep most of the time. The real meat of the issue was the actual food. It was TERRIBLE. The waffle was clearly made of bisquick instant mix, and the chicken tenders were hard, clearly came out of a box as well. The omelet my partner got had frozen gyro meat, raw spinach, and canned mushrooms in it. The iced coffee was also extremely bitter. Lately, The Patty Wagon has been running radio ads that borrow heavily from the old "How 'bout a nice Hawaiian punch?" commercials that were once staples on TV back in the day. Anyway, I stopped in the other day not because of but despite these ads that I find tiresome and obnoxious. What I found was a place that serves a solid burger, decent sides and draft 1919 root beer all at reasonable prices. I went with the Four Alarm burger (two patty's stuffed with pepper jack cheese and chopped jalapeño. Topped with Danger Sauce). It was Minn spicy, slathered with a sauce that could more accurately be called "Slight Risk." But it was tasty and filling. Onion rings were very good. Fries not bad at all. Of note, the root beer is $3.25 (regular, unlimited soda $2.00) and does not include refills. Next time (and I probably will be back) I might go with The Hellion (charbroiled patty seasoned with Cajun spices, pepper jack cheese, sliced jalapeños and an onion ring) or the Speed Limit Breaker (A charbroiled patty with cheddar cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onions, bacon, chipotle mayo, and an onion ring) and sub tater tots for fries. Service was amiable and efficient. Space in the lot can be a bit tight but there is no shortage of on street parking within reasonable distance. read more

First time coming here and I brought my parents. We were worried at first because we drove through a dank industrial area but once we popped out back into civilization we found the Patty Wagon tucked into a strip mall. We were pleasantly suprised with the clean, hip, industrial-chic atmosphere and how much space they had inside. Even enough room for a small clean bar. My boyfriend and I got the Speed Limit Breaker Burger. It has caramelized onions, mushrooms, gooey cheddar cheese, bacon, Chipotle mayo, and an onion ring. I love burgers with caramelized onions and you can definitely taste them in this burger, so good! Those onions along with the gooey cheese and crunchy onion ring made it a great burger. My one (minor) complaint is that it needed more Chipotle mayo- I couldn't taste it at all and as you can see from my picture I had only just a squirt on my burger. Don't be stingy with the calories please! I guess their fries are crispy and yummy but I chose their sweet potato tots. Lightly crispy on the outside and actually pretty sweet and soft on the inside and very, very orange haha. My mom had the Roadster Burger which had Jack Daniels bbq on it and she seemed to enjoy it! No complaints! We had great service even though it seemed like only one waiter was working. And we were also visited by what seemed to be the manager or owner of the company which was pleasently surprising! Overall it was a good experience. Very friendly staff. Awesome root beer. Not feeling adventurous, I had a plain cheeseburger. The burger was good, above average. The hamburger bun, on the other hand, was excellent. I tried the Mozzarella Sticks and Onion rings as well. They have an awesome ranch which pairs well with the onion rings. Did I mention the root beer?
