If you spent $50 a month for more than two years with a local business one would think they would appreciate my business and say so? Not so if your a customer of A-All Mini Storage. I vacated my storage unit on June 21, 2019 and the staff gave the impression of "don't let the door hit you in the butt." If I owned that business I would certainly expect my staff to thank the customer for their loyal business and invite them to return if they ever need storage in the future. But not at this facility. They have the attitude that people who rent storage facilities should not be treated with dignity and respect. How sad. read more

Prepare to be treated as though you are some sort of bank robber when you go to access your belongings. Unnecessarily excessively rude overly defensive staff. Did make it a point to resolve the matter yesterday by stopping by to report yet another incident to manager who was professional and did concede staff does observe such strange behavior of current occupants by homeless that they may have gotten this way because of that- ie homeless defecating in units, shutting themselves in their storage spaces. So but there must be better ways of managing this problem rather than brutally disrespecting and accosting your customers. Perhaps they could work something out with a homeless agency...or the city or some foundation. An Orange County contractor just recently built Potters Lane for homeless vets out of inexpensive shipping containers...which is what are the storage units here. I need to access my stuff to organize it into shipping boxes to send to Ship 2.. a newer storage solution you don't have to visit because instead they ship whatever you need to you wherever you are anywhere in the nation. It is now a mobile society with people in more frequent transition. Until i can accomplish this...I will continue to try to reassure the staff I am following all the rules and that the same rules apply to everyone equally and to not to feel like i am in a high security uptight highly strung penitentiary. (The most recent incident began because i was told i had been there long enough...an hour...when no rule states otherwise to my knowledge, and especially when over a year ago when i put my stuff there it was understood i would need to come back after having worked in various locations around the nation...and be there maybe 4 hours for several days a week here and there around my work schedule sorting through stuff to organize and box it to ship, This was a condition of having chosen this facility). read more

I've been a tenant there for 5 years and I never had an issue until today when I was treated like a criminal. I went to drop things off/pick things up but had too much in my car so I had my husband go with me in his truck. I'm always very diligent about coding in and out and my husband is the same way. Well I went to go in and got denied access. Went in the office and the blonde lady there basically told me I needed to make sure I coded in/out and didn't piggyback. I said I'm always very careful about that and I'm 100% sure that wasn't the case here. She gave me a blank stare like I wasn't going to be able to get in and I'm looking at her like "wtf do you want from me then? To go get a court order to go into MY storage that I pay for EVERY month???" And she reluctantly agreed to let me in but she basically called me a liar. Very unprofessional. I'm not the average tweaker from Rio Linda here. I'm simply doing what I need to do and going on my merry little way. After being a faithful tenant for 5 years I expect a little more respect. I'm so glad I'm moving out in 7 months when we leave the state because they clearly don't value decent people. Oh we had a problem leaving too and my husband wasn't able to get out right away and she told him we were only allowed one person at a time (of course she reluctantly let him out too) but wtf are we in high school?? Are we living there? Are we ruining your life by having two people there for 20 minutes?? Calm down chica. If you aren't good with talking to people maybe another line of work would be better suited for you cause customer service is clearly not your forte. Hopefully as I downsize before our cross country move I'll be able to move out of there sooner. If I'm going to be a loyal respectable person, I expect the same in return. That's not happening here. I just move my stuff out I was one month late I want to go pay my bill found out I was in pre-lien I old $52 plus a late fee on top of the $68 they told me about it been five days later they were going to cut my lock when I went to go move everything out after I paid that the storage unit was infested with rats almost half of my stuff is destroyed when I spoke to them about it they said that I should've gotten insurance that would've covered it no one told me about insurance or about the problems with rats there or else I would've never and will never rent from them again if you do make sure you get insurance if they'll even cover rats chewing everything up read more

Buyer Beware! I would give them a 0 if I could. Here is my experience with this company. They have a credit card on file so they can charge it every month to pay the rent on the unit. Every few months or so, I get informed that I haven't paid and in several of those cases that I owe a late fee (this has happened at least 5 times (one was legit because my bank's system was compromised and I couldn't get them the newly issued card information before they tried to run it). I call and they tell me the card was declined (in every case). To give them the benefit of the doubt, I call the bank, the bank tells me there have been no problems with the card (which I already know because all my, and my families, personal and business accounts are monitored very closely). I call them back and tell them there hasn't been a problem and they run the card and it's goes through. I asked them why the didn't call me, they said they did and I find out they called an old phone number. I had updated my number, in person, over a year ago, but somehow they don't have it on file. They told me they sent two notices to my address, prior to the "third" one I received, after the card was declined. But, I have not received these two prior notices. They are the ONLY place that card has been declined in all the years that account has been opened. Generally the staff has been good to deal with, but the manager I spoke with this last time was very unprofessional. Aside from her defensiveness and tone, she told me the declined card had nothing to do with them and it was between me and my bank. But, I'm starting to think the card or the bank aren't the problem. If this had happened one or two times, I could see where that might be possible. I'm now concerned that there may be some less than honest business practices occurring. But, I investigate fraud for a living (over 20 years), so maybe I'm overly suspicious. Maybe this is just a technical issue or some other unintentional issue on their end that they are unaware of or unwilling to investigate, I've been willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the more this happens to me without anything that can be explained on my end, the more suspicious I get. So, if any one reading this has used this company's services and had issues with this business that you think are not above board. I would encourage you to contact the consumer protection agency. Worst experience I have ever had in customer service. When I signed a agreement with them on a special they told me if I left early all I had to was give a 30 day notice and I would receive a full refund for any time I had left. I signed up for a six month deal was only there 30 days and they now say there are no refunds. I even offered to make an arrangement for a negotiation and management wouldn't even take my call. they flat out refused to even speak to me about my issue. The gentleman I spoke with said they (management) have no interest in speaking to any current clients and that he could handle it. That being said. I believe they will just have an empty bin on their lot for 6 months at a half price rate. Unfortunate for them because its worth more than the $45 a month Im paying for it in the long run. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE NEGATIVE STAR RATING IF POSSIBLE!!!! Just goes to show you what kind of business this really is. read more
