We have used A1 Fumigation a few times now, and we've been had a great experience each time. Roberto and his team handle with care, and are punctual. The first time was right after we bought our home and needed to treat it for termites. The tenting process was incredibly efficient, they were highly punctual, and everything came back exactly the way we left it. The second time we used them was for a home inspection. We were able to get someone out the next day. I really appreciate how quickly they pick up the phone and answer questions. The owner is great and it's obvious that his team genuinely cares about their clients and doing a thorough job. If you need pest control or an inspection, don't hesitate to call them! read more

My home desperately needed to be fumigated for drywood termites. My home was just fumigated in December 2019. I was informed by Sierra Termite Control they sub-contract their fumes. I wasn't to happy about the sub-contracting part but I was informed my home was was in good hands. I was super scared of a possible break in while I was away for the 3 days. The termite inspector advised me to contact my local police department to help patrol home. This was a FREE service my local police department offered. I asked my neighbors to keep an eye on my home as well. The morning of the fumigation I requested a lead call upon arrival and upon the removal of the tarps. I received (2) lead calls from a very nice lady Natasha. The fumigation crew was very professional and very clean. They explained everything they were doing and answered all my questions. I will gladly refer this fumigation company to anyone that needs their home fumigated. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !! our house was ransacked & robbed during fumigation! they took a lot of irreplaceable items. i live in a safe neighborhood down the street from a police station, yet these people were able to get in our house & thrash everything. DO NOT RECOMMEND. staff was not helpful with us nor the police.. SHADY AF ! also, if you search any other fumigation service.. robberies aren't as common as it is for this company.. SUSPICIOUS AF !!! read more

Terrible service. The fumigation company called my gas company without my authorization. I called them they said OOOps there was a mistake! What an idiot read more

I'm changing my rating since it's been about a month and already there are a sizable number of small black biting bugs in our house although we have two pets with full flea/tick/etc protection. For all the trouble we went through with the tenting, something clearly went wrong. Also, our house got robbed in the process, and I'd say our city is very safe. Crime rate is relatively low except for theft in the auto square, but domestic robbery is very rare. I'm not going to be so bold as to blame this company for the robbery, but future customers beware. read more

About a week ago I had A-1 come out and fumigate my home in paramount. They quoted me a great price better than any other company. The service was quick they set up the tent on a Friday and was brought down early Monday morning. I was worried about those criminals that target houses that are being fumigated. It's been a trend that these homes get broken into on the last day. So I made sure I frequently checked up on my property. The company did a great job that all my neighbors were asking me for A-1s business number to get their houses fumigated. After reading all these review of Home burglaries I was worried but if you stay on top of your property and frequently check up on it. People will know not to go in. read more

I would not recommend this company! My house was broken into during the fumigation! They trashed our bedroom and took many valuables! We had people watching the house all weekend and live in a very safe friendly neighborhood! We think it was an inside job. If you are getting your house tented my advise to everyone is- do not trust anyone! Watch them put everything up and wait at your home till the workers leave themselves! Stay close, like next door or even go as far as to renting an RV and camping outside! These people are shady and know when to break in! read more

My home was fumigated by A1 and all I can say is I will never trust anyone else with my property! Their whole staff is very professional and made sure that we were 100% satisfied! They did an awesome job, so happy to have found the perfect company for the job. And just for future reference chances are very high to have a burglary when a house is being fumigated regardless of the company, so to blame them for your misfortune is sad! Trust me when I say they are the best in town! read more

Would definitely recommend using this company. Had a great experience with their customer service and the guys in the field. They were so nice in answering any questions I had and made sure I was satisfied with the work being done. Great company! read more

I had a great experience with them. They are the best! Other companies were too expensive and on top of that lazy. A-1 Fumigation was the only one that was thorough during the pre-evaluation compared to the other 3 companies that stopped by to give me a quote, so I picked them. They even check underneath the house and everything while the others said no they dont do that. uhhhh? I recommend them. I did not have any bad experiences whats so ever. I dealt with a man named Roberto and recommend dealing with him. He gets it. Cheers! read more

My sister recently got a job done by A-1 and her house got broken into on the last day it was tented. Her landlord is the one that booked this company and I am in no way saying that the company was involved with my sisters misfortune or that it was an INSIDE job but by reading all off these reviews it's safe to say that it is very shady. I understand that fumigation of one's home can be a target but if a company has 5 out of 8 reviews indicating that thier home was broken into by A-1 fumigation seems very obvious. Once again very clear I am not blaming the company but personally I wouldn't call on them anytime soon or if I did I would make sure I will have something waiting for the burglar. read more

I had my mothers home fumigated by A-1 fumigation and all I can say is that they are very professional company. I was contacted by Chris the day before the fumigation and he gave me in depth information on the fumigation process and was very helpful in answering all my questions. He also called me 30 minutes before the crew arrived to my moms home and I met with Roberto the Supervisor to give his crew access to my moms property. The supervisor and staff was friendly and overall did an excellent job with the fumigation . I was very pleased with the whole process. I would highly recommend. I had this company fumigate my house and everyone I spoke to from the company was very nice and professional. They advised me to check on my home periodically because break ins are common. I was very thankful for that information because I did not think people would try to rob a house filled with chemicals. I did a few drive bys at night and everything was fine. Also the crew that came to put the tent up and take it down we're very nice. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is getting their home fumigated read more

A 1 provided exceptional service at a very reasonable price. The staff is very responsive to the home owners needs and even went the additional effort to ensure natural gas service was turned back on before we re entered the house. Most impressive upon our return was that there were absolutely no signs what so ever that the house had been tented for 3 days. No messes, no damaged wall, roof or floor surfaces and no damaged landscaping-- just no more termites and ants. The entire staff from office to the fumigation team was most courteous and informative-- especially Roberto who treated our home and contents like it was his own. Most appreciated were their efforts to secure the home from possible illegal entry during the fumigation process by securing gates, doors and windows. I very recommend A 1 without reservation. read more

No complaints about this company. They showed up on time, got the job done and now I'm termite free. They were a sub of the termite co I contracted and I'm happy they use this company. Very professional and Roberto is great to work with. read more

My sons house got broken into this weekend while being tented. They ransacked and robbed the house. Police are there now getting fingerprints. There were cameras at the park behind there house. Hopefully they will catch the scumbags. It could of been done before they fumigated or after. They took some priceless memories that can not be replaced. This needs to be righted or people will not trust companies to fumigate. Bad for business. I see on Yelp that other people have been robbed. read more

Got robbed during the fumigation process I don't blame the company but i want future customer be ware

We had a very large house and these guys did a great job. They were on time on every occasion they came out, fast and efficient. The site guys , both Roberto and Andreas, were polite and quick in dealing with estimate, the work and educating us on what needed to be done on our part. Fumigating your house sucks. The bagging of the foods, uncertainty of safety, etc., but when it has to be done it has to be done. I have read other reviews and the comments about things being stolen and security is something you just have to deal with. In our case we set the alarm after they were done inside at the beginning of fumigation, alerted our security company (who did constant drive bys) and then turned the alarm off when they were ready to go back inside after the weekend. Their price was fair and I would highly recommend them to anybody who asked. read more

Our home was recently fumigated by A-1 and my experience with this company was just that, A-1! Everything went well. With their friendly staff they helped turn a possible tedious task into a smooth process. We were lucky enough to have Roberto assist us throughout the whole process, true professional with his inspection and fumigation of our property. I without a doubt will refer them to family and friends. read more

I live in an apartment building which was recently tented by this company. My garage was robbed in the process, and in all the years I've lived in LA, I've never had any type of robbery. My landlord neglected to ask me for the key to my garage lock and I assume that A1 sawed my lock off because we were told that they were entering all garages. My landlord called me the day they finished the tenting to tell me that there was no lock on my garage. How could that be? It was on there prior to the tenting. When I called A1 and spoke to the manager, his story didn't jive. He told me that there was no evidence of any foul play (i.e. tenting was not cut), and, he said that the fumigation company never needed to enter my garage! This doesn't make any sense. He admitted that they sawed off at least one other lock but claimed that they never touched my lock. If you put 2 and 2 together, it doesn't make any sense. Not accusing, but something is fishy. I asked the manager to find out from his crew if anyone had entered my garage and he never called me back. read more
