The dog was completely uncivilized, having grown up on the streets of Kosovo her whole life. Within several training sessions, there was a noticeable difference and Corinn was able to start transforming my foster into a special dog any family would be proud of. I since went on to adopt a rescue of my own and I once again sought out Corinn's expertise and enrolled my bernadoodle, Hannah, in Corinn's Puppy 2 Class. My sweet girl learned patience, obedience and how to listen to my commands while being distracted by other dogs in the room. I believe my relationship with Hannah has deepened to a mutual respect of each other because I acquired the skills and training to raise a well-behaved and happy dog. In addition, Corinn is well-versed in the best toys, whistles, harnesses, treats and will inform you where to buy them. Corinn also has a holistic approach to helping dogs and humans alike with their health. She has a deep knowledge on dog nutrition and how to make home cooked meals for them. I have gained a wealth of knowledge to better my own health, as well as be a better dog mom to my Hannah girl. To me, tho cost of the class is a bargain for what you will get in return...a well-mannered dog that you will now have to show off and be proud of. Corinn is completely devoted to her craft of training dogs to their potential, has dedicated her life to it, which all comes across the first time you meet her.

Life-Changing Experience with Refined K9!…read more I can't say enough good things about Refined K9 and the amazing work they did with my 3-year-old rescue husky, Blue. Blue had a tough start in life--he was left alone in a backyard his entire life until the city forced his previous owner to give him up. That's when I stepped in and rescued him. While I was determined to give him the life he deserved, it became clear pretty quickly that Blue had a lot of emotional scars. He was extremely reactive to people and other dogs, very territorial, and had a dominant personality. At home, after months of patient work, we made some real progress as a family. But when we were outside, Blue was still ruled by his instincts. The turning point came when he lunged at a woman on a walk. That moment told me we needed professional help--ASAP. After doing some research and speaking with the team at Refined K9, I instantly felt like Blue would be in good hands. They listened, understood his history, and made me feel confident they could help him. Two weeks before New Year's, Blue went in for training, and four weeks later, he came home a completely transformed dog. I was amazed. He was still the same goofy, loving husky we knew and loved--but he was no longer reactive. His entire energy was calmer, more relaxed, and incredibly well-balanced. He was much more submissive, and I could tell he was comfortable in situations that would have sent him into overdrive before. Whether we're walking in public, meeting new people, or around other dogs, Blue is chill and responsive. What I love most about Refined K9 is that their support doesn't end when your dog comes home. They give you a clear framework and the tools you need to continue reinforcing the training. And they're always there for you afterward. They offer free group lessons when the weather is nice, and they genuinely care about their clients. Any time I've had a question or needed guidance, they've been there without hesitation. Rescuing Blue was one of the best decisions I ever made, and trusting Refined K9 with his training was a close second. They helped unlock the dog I always knew Blue could be. If you're on the fence about getting your dog trained--especially if they've had a tough past like Blue--don't wait. Refined K9 will change both your life and your dog's. Thank you, Refined K9, for giving Blue a second chance at life and helping me become a better dog owner in the process!

If you are reading this, your search for dog training stops here. This is the place you need and…read morethey will change your life! This sounds a little over the top BUT I'm not lying. I tell our trainers Katie and Nicole all of the time that they are life savers. We brought our puppy here at 1 years old - a small wild, energetic Jack Russell who knew every time I was on a video meeting to bark his head off and embarrass me EVERY TIME! Walks were out of the question since he would pull on the leash to the point he would choke himself... sitting on the deck was a nightmare in our own backyard because he would bark at the wind (yes, the wind), the leaves moving, the birds and obviously the neighbors. Does this sound familiar? I questioned my decision of getting a puppy and then I found Max K9. We did a 3 week Board & Train where I was super hesitant of dropping him off (because no one wants to leave their baby anywhere), but they were so good with sending video progress and pictures and including my husband and I in the process. I joke with everyone that I think they implanted a program into his brain! Lol! The transformation was unreal. We were instantly able to communicate with him and actually go on a walk.. outside in the real world. What a breath of fresh air, literally! Max K9 has given us the ability to live an active lifestyle and have our pup enjoy it with us. Hikes, traveling, morning walks, trips to the store, brewery visits, long car rides out of state... you name it. I would do it all over again if I had to without a question. So if you've made it this far, thanks for reading. I hope this helps you make your decision to having a better relationship with your pup and enjoying life with them every step of the way.

We were having trouble trying to help him adjust from living in the south on a large property to living in a one bedroom apartment with cats and a smaller back yard. We were set up with our trainer, Jim, he educated us on how to handle Keiko properly (from basic obedience to different enrichment), build a better bridge of communication and help with his confidence. Our last session Keiko even decided he was going to try one of the obstacles from maximum K9's agility course (no prompting from us) shocking both me and my fiancé. Safe to say Keiko loves Maximum K9 as much as we do . Since our training we have been able to do so much more and get Keiko better involved in our activities (which we know he loves). They also have so many great treats, toys, and training tools for those at varying levels in their store portion.

That was so NICE! Toby was clean and happy to see me! They even gave him a bath! Helen said that she always watches for tail wagging. Helen and I had a nice conversation. She's really lovely, and truly LOVES dogs. She's very concerned about their health and happiness. I appreciate the fact that she won't just take any dog for boarding without knowing about vet visits, shots, etc, and prefers dogs that she sold. When I arrived, there were larger dogs playing outside, in a fenced area. Toby was waiting for me with his raincoat, toy, and hoodie all bagged up. Helen showed me the outside play area for small dogs, and told me that Toby had been playing with her Maltese, Sophie. I met Sophie :) Then Helen showed me the puppy room. OMG!!! So many absolutely adorable puppies, including Shih Tzus like Toby! I saw poodle puppies exactly like my brother's family dog. Everything that I saw was very clean, and the dogs and puppies looked healthy and well-cared for. I read the bad reviews. I like Helen. I think that if she doesn't want someone to have a dog, she has a reason. My brother's family has had their puppy for about a year now, and he's perfectly healthy. Noisy, but healthy. Helen did advise me about a group of basically criminals (HSUS), which includes people convicted of sexual harassment, embezzling, child sex trafficking, fraud, and racketeering. Interesting. They're supposed to be a humane society. So I wonder if possibly some of these reviews are perhaps not entirely accurate. But I can only speak to my own experience boarding Toby for 9 days, and my brother's family dog.

The lady Helen also immediately upon meeting us declared we would get cancer because we live in a town that has a plume problem and kept referring to us as the cancers, I'm not sure what fifth dimension she lives on but she didn't make much sense the entire time. Luckily I'm fine dealing with unhinged people but being told I'm bound to get cancer because of where I happen to live was top tier sales. This lady wins the award at being rude. We came here because it was advertised as a local breeder with parents nearby and humane. It was anything but humane. We did see a dog we absolutely loved and at this point just wanted to get it out of this situation. When we asked the price she said $1200 at first, that turned into $2000 and when we called her my husband made the mistake of saying we loved the dog and suddenly price was $3500 and I have worked professionally training breeds - it was not a full breed. We were not willing to pay that much to save the puppy from there and felt conflicted because we didn't want to support an institution that treats dogs this way... It should be shut down. It's disheartening to see puppies in such cramped conditions. We ended up finding a local breeder an hour out that raises them in her home and treats her dogs like royalty. We are also paying way less than what she priced her dogs... We would just adopt if we didn't need an allergen friendly dog. We waited patiently for one to pop up on all the rescue groups with no luck...so please don't come at me (trust me I rather adopt it's cheaper). Either way, don't support this woman. She is rude and treats her dogs terribly. She will also price raise at a whim. Your choice.
