I have a Shitzu, who was rather difficult to groom, because he was a puppy mill rescue. He nipped one groomer when I first got him and others would just send him home with a hairy face. Bill and his staff, were so patient with him and my Cannoli loves him. He and his brother Tommy actually get excited to go get groomed. I also feel good dropping them off for boarding, knowing that they are in good hands. I have recommended them to at least 5 colleagues and they all come back happy. My guys look great and I highly recommend grooming or boarding

I said that I thought that was a mistake, because I had checked the prices online, and that was for the 33-lb bag. I had chosen a 24-lb bag. We went to look at the bags on the shelf, and it appeared that the bag was $76, but it was in the wrong place and was actually a specialty food. Anyway, he very kindly agreed to honor the lower price. I left as a very happy customer. This is the second time I have received excellent customer service.

Having moved from Plainview to Patchogue approximately 3 1/2 years ago, I set out to find a good…read morelocal groomer for my Malti Poo , Bailey. Unfortunately, my quest did not go according to plan. I tried three separate groomers. All of them were unacceptable. Two of them cut my dogs hair way shorter than I asked, and the third one basically didn't cut anything. Based on that, I started driving 30 miles to my prior groomer just to get an acceptable haircut. After about a year of doing that the groomer I had used for years retired. Now I had to find a new groomer. Based on some of the reviews I read, I decided to visit Puppy Kuts. I went in, without my dog with me and discussed with them what I needed done. I showed them pictures; both good and bad. After discussing the kind of look, I was going for with my dog. I felt confident enough to book an appointment. That was approximately a year ago. Since that time I have been using them exclusively. They listened to my request and have always been able to properly groom Bailey. I'm definitely pleased with the results. They are a family owned salon that really strives for a personal touch. I fully recommend Puppy Kuts!
