I believed I was doing so and the puppy I was waiting for was adopted right out from under me. I have many messages between us specifying which animal I was waiting to adopt. Yet still it was adopted by someone else. There was no sense of remorse for ruining my birthday present, nor was there any remorse , more importantly, for their error. I was told to come and pick another one like it was no big deal. For me it was a big deal because I already had chosen a name for the puppy and purchased many items for that specific puppy I felt a connection with. I do not want anyone else to be treated in this harsh, uncaring way. I do not want anyone else to go through the same pain. I think what is the most hurtful is their inability to take responsibility for their error and the heartache it has caused. They simply maintained focus on some set of notes they had filled with misinformation that I was able to prove it was misinformation with photos from our thread of mesages. That in itself represents their irresponsibility and concern for client feelings I am hoping this improves their responsibility to the commitments they make, as well as the accuracy of the notes they maintain. I hope they learn to return to message threads to review the conversations they hold. These conversations contain needed information for the adoptions they conduct. I hope they learn how to rectify their mistakes and admit to them. This is a fabulous way to earn people's respect and confidence in their ability to maintain a rescue.

She even took us in early and allowed my fur son to walk around and get familiar with the space before starting--something I truly appreciated. She took the time to ask me exactly what I wanted and also gave helpful suggestions based on her expertise. You can tell she really cares about both the pets and their owners. Her shop smells amazing and is extremely clean, which is so important to me. I also loved that there were no cages--only play pens--creating a calm, safe, and welcoming environment. Her crew truly feels like family. Everyone there was so loving, gentle, and attentive. You can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in. I'm new to the neighborhood and always get nervous leaving my fur baby anywhere, but Ms. Lori completely put me at ease. I also love that she doesn't have dogs sitting around for hours waiting--everything feels intentional and well-managed. And the results... AMAZING! My fur baby looked absolutely perfect. She was very sweet and all of her staff was as well. Chip immediately took to her so that made me feel extremely comfortable. He's always so nervous getting groomed, but this time, I didn't feel like we had to worry. We didn't give her a whole lot of context about how we wanted him to be groomed and she NAILED it! Wow! She was lighting speed, he was literally done in about 45 minutes (which is terrific bc this little guy gets anxious typically, but I don't feel like he would be there!). We have had our dog for 9 years and he's been groomed by a variety of places. He has NEVER walked out of a place smelling so clean and fresh EVER!
