However, he never really took the time to explain to us what else we could do to avoid any problems or how to address current issues like how to handle our pet's obvious wounds. Suddenly we end up getting texts and calls for appointments we did not agree with. We took the bait and went for the 2nd time, but the issues were still not addressed. We finally realized that their "friendliness" is not really part of their good customer service. This experience is very disappointing for us first-time "furry parents." We are now seeing a different Veterinary Doctor who is more willing to explain what is going on with our "baby" and tell us how to prevent any future problems. We are even able to ask (a lot) of questions about how to take care of our baby. This is a better doctor than him.

Milo came from a puppy mill and then a shelter, so he has a few issues. Ed and Donna care for him so well and love him despite the fact that he's not the easiest dog. I was about 10 minutes late to my dog's appointment after driving 45 minutes and paying nearly $100 for an Uber. I even called earlier in the morning asking about rescheduling options, but when I arrived and explained the situation, they refused to take my dog at all. I completely understand that businesses run on schedules, but there was absolutely no flexibility or effort to work with me, even though I was requesting a simple bath and trim and have been a loyal customer for years. I asked politely and explained the situation, but they wouldn't accommodate me in any way. After being a repeat customer for so long, I expected at least some willingness to help or find a solution. Unfortunately, the experience felt very dismissive and unappreciative of long-time customers.
