Great waitress. She got us refills without having to ask or wait long. Family friendly with plenty of booths. The food was great. I had the New England Seafood Combo which was good and the shrimp breading was nice. We also had the Colossal Lobster Roll which was great. Not too much mayo. Never had a bad experience at the 99 to date. Always good food and service. For a chain it is to be expected. Definitely worth the visit.

I've had some tough times here in the past, but I forgot to check in or review. After mentioning those times to the server, she went out of her way to make sure everything was awesome and a very attentive manager also checked in. I will happily give this place another shot and I'd recommend you do too. If you do have some problems just be sure to vocalize it. The managers are great. read more

We use to go to this 99 when Jessie was the manager. We miss him. He gave the place a special feel. He works at the 99 in Portsmouth, NH now. We have been to the 99 in Concord a few times and it just isn't the same. The staff is not as happy as it use to be. You can tell in the service. Now we just stop by for a drink once in a while. Just to see if Jessie is back. Nope no Jessie no dinner it just isn't the same. The care is just not there. You can see it in the people who work there and the food. Unhappy customers. read more

Took almost an hour to get seated as they forgot about us. Once seated things did get better, however be aware they are not able to substitute things on the meals. The kids meal that was chicken was not cooked all the way and had to be sent back. Food came out in waves, and not salads but individuals had to eat separately . Also keep in mind they limit the number of drinks you can have. I had the country fried chicken and it was good. My brother had the ground sirloin and did not like it. The steak was similar to apple bees. The lobster and shrimp was very good. The others meals were good. All in all the experience was more than 2 hours which is far to long. Went to the 99 last Saturday and ordered the baked schrod light on the breadcrumbs. Unfortunately when it arrived it was loaded with crumbs and melted butter. The server noticed it immediately and said she was sending it back it would be just a few minutes to get a new order. Meanwhile my husband got his and began eating. Nearly 20 minutes passed before it was ready and the manager came over to apologize about the delay and mishap. She asked me if she could get me anything and I said I'd have another select beer. Finally my meal came we finished eating and got our check. I was APPALED when I saw I was yet charged for the beer. You think they would have comped it due to THEIR error. It's the last time we ever go their. Bar staff very unfriendly also. Not a place I'm going to revisit. read more

I love going here to eat. Service is good and food is usually excellent. However the only reason I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars is their inventory control. Sometimes I'll order and they will be out of something I was really looking forward to having. Increase your inventory control and this would be a solid 5. read more

Great stop when shopping (best buffalo chicken tenders!) but occasionally when we go in it smells bad... like lots and lots of fried fish... today was so bad we couldn't even stay to have a beer. Walked in, tried to find a place in the bar that smelled okay, but instead had to walk right out. Unfortunately, even after just a brief pop-in, the smell stayed in our nostrils and was in our clothes. They definitely need to upgrade their ventilation system. read more

Disappointing meal. The appetizer was cold, the fries were cold, we got the wrong vegetable, items were missing from my dinner, and the presentation of the food was unappealing....and the restaurant wasn't even very busy! Called at 4 for call ahead seating for 8peoplenfor 530 pm. Got there and was told the wait was one hour. When I questioned the hostess she stated it wasn't a reservation.I said I knew that but. Why have call ahead seating when you get there and have to wait an hour. Told her we were not waiting and they just lost our busuiness. Her reply was oh well. Not bad for a chain restaurant. The kids like it, they have good salads and drinks. You can count on consistency in the menu items whether you are at the Concord location or any other 99 in the state. Service is always prompt. They recently redecorated and it looks great. read more

Today we had the best dining out experience in a long time. The 99 always has great food and service but today was above and beyond, thanks to our server Colton. Took my girls out Christmas shopping shopping and stopped here for dinner. Great Food! Great Service! Our waitress was a delight, wish I remember her name. I have come in often with friends to the 99 for drinks after work. I have absolutely never had an issue coming here. But recently on two different occasions my friends and I have sat at the bar on the near side of where the food window is located. On two separate nights one after the other I over heard what I became to know as the manager Jean standing by the food window talking badly to the waitstaff and giving them all a bad attitude. The manager at one point made another employee cry for some reason and I saw the employee walk out back. Then I over heard the manager discussing the issue at hand with another employee!!!! How unprofessional is that! I saw the same attitude from that same manager towards her employees the next night. These servers work very hard to do their jobs. I also was a server once upon a time and I would never work for a manager that treated me with that much disrespect. It really bothered me and feel like I should call someone that is higher then the manager that did this. Other then witnessing this horrible occurrence I absolutely love the Concord 99 and will be returning. I still give the restaurant almost 5 stars because the only reason I've ever had a bad experience was encountering this unprofessional manager. read more

I have been coming to this location since they opened and know many servers and barkeeps by name and they know my name as well. great service, i recommend always to sit at the bar because the service there is awesome. they just redid the whole restaurant make over with new digital 1080i 120hz LG tv's and its a great place to drink or eat with friends or by yourself if you want. I have more than 14 years of visits to this location and I've seen other restaurants come and go and I like them as a good old standby, the only thing i could say negative about them is that the menu changes so if i start to like something, it may dissapear. I just hope they never get rid of the chipotle boneless wings with blue cheese. those are my favorite. read more

Hello. So usually we have good service and awesome bar staff but tonight was different and it wasn't just us. We sat down st the bar and ordered two drinks and that was fine, ordered our food, which was only two of the chicken grilled salads. One Cobb and one Honey mustard chicken salad. We noticed the food sitting under the lamps and waitstaff complaining about how long it was taking for food orders to be completed. The manager was working the food counter and yelling at the waitstaff which wasn't their fault by any means it was taking the cooks it seemed a very long to get orders completed. Anyways we were very patient until the couple sat down next to us and ordered and it only took about 15 for her salad and his burger. Meanwhile we waited one hour( from 632pm we ordered and still by 738pm) no salads yet. So we told the waitress and manager we were leaving and we were all set that it was over an hour for 2 salads is a bit rediculous. Someone should have apologized or checked in on the food order and other waist staff were taking food as well out of line. Went to the 99 in Concord N.H.. We go here often as we have young children, and it's pretty much kid friendly, depending on who serves you. Had a bad experience with Tammy, won't go into detail's except to say she's extremely rude, and very unprofessional. Tonight we had Myranda who we thoroughly enjoyed. We've had her before, and you can just tell she loves children. Our children actually ask if she's going to be there We'll most certainly ask for her our next trip to Concord. Alot of server's don't like children, they expect them to be loud, and unrespectfull to the surrounding tables. She came by several time's to refill drink's, and made sure to ask how our meal was. She's not one to be idle...she's very fast when it comes to cleaning, and setting up other tables, but yet still makes sure she's there for you. I frequent the 99 restaurant in Concord often. On Friday July 26, 2013 I met my daughter there for dinner. She had a bad experience prior to her arrival. She almost got into a terrible accident. I was waiting for her at the restaurant with the timer in my hand waiting 20-25 minutes for a table when she called me in hysterics. I calmed her down and met her at her car in the parking lot. We called the police to have them come and look at her car. While we were speaking with the officer, the timer went off our table was ready. I went in and spoke with Sara, told her what was happening, and she offered to hold our table for us. Super nice thing to do. When we came in we were escorted to our table with Ben as our waiter. He approached the table and said "The restaurant is buying you ladies a drink tonight.." What?! Restaurants don't do that! 99 does and did!!! Thank you 99 for caring...I appreciate you! read more
