This 85° has been a staple of this area in Chino Hills for a long time. We've been coming here for a while but it has been a hot minute since. Finally came back and its just as good. Thank you 85° for always being here when we need you!
Stopped by on the way to Vegas. This is a huge 85! Looks new and was very clean. Came in right before 8am, all the breads were out and there were no lines. Seems like a good study spot if you wanted to. Plenty of tables here. The boba was so fresh.
Came in for a drink and ordered the Iced Green Milk Tea. I haven't had it at 85 before, so decided to try something different. Ordered it, "half sweet" and it was good. Though still a little sweet for me. I would go maybe 25% sweet if you want a less sweet drink. Order was easy, wait for my drink was a few minutes. Looks like they upgraded to more comfortable seats, too.
This is my go-to 85°C Bakery because it's convenient and along my way of running errands. It's always well stocked with lots of options. It's clean, has both indoor and outdoor seating. The one cashier is literally doing it all and don't or can't call for help. A couple of staff would walk in and out and proceed to their own business. I get that each staff member have their own responsibilities but seriously? The line was looped twice and no one came to help till about 10 minutes later. I have been coming here since they opened in Chino Hills. All of the pastries, cakes and drinks are delicious. I love purchasing birthday cakes for friends and families. I even purchased pastries for work and just because. With the 85 apps, you can earn rewards. Once you reached VIP statuses, you can earn the quarterly free iced fresh tea. I can't wait to redeem my free 8 in cake for the next celebration (you have to reach 500 points). Service was ok. For the past couple of visits, I have been noticing few of the employees were not friendly and give attitude look when asking the simple questions, so I dropped one star from the rating. Ambiance is nice. The pastries rack now looks different. They removed the top bread rack and moved all the bread near the baker's side.

Been craving some fresh baked goods from this Asian bakery and this location doesn't disappoint. Came in during morning rush, bakery wasn't too busy and staff was getting ready to stock up on cakes and buns coming out from the kitchen. Aside from the popular Taro Milk bun, I decided to try the cheese hotdog bun instead. Hotdog bun tasted so warm and fresh~delicious. This location is nothing like the NYC Flushing location~this place is huge, tranquil, and has plenty of seating. Was able to find some comfy seats to enjoy my food.
We have a little late afternoon tea at 85 degrees of Chino Hills. It's close by Hawkins Movie theatre, and has been opened for some time. This particular location is cozy, with plenty of seats, plus outdoor seating with patio. Service is friendly, you basically pick out the pastries, bread using a plastic tong and tray. There is now drink kiosk, so if the line is long and you just want coffee, you can order and cut down wait time - it goes straight to barista. I bought a few pastries for breakfast next day. 85 degrees cafe originated from Taiwan as breakfast western style fast food cafe. They make the correct decisions to be more of fusion and upscaled take of cafe and bakery in the states. They have larger followers here in my opinion. I like their drinks and offers because they are reasonably priced. My iced red grapefruit green tea is delicious I wish I have more lol.
Visited during a weekday during lunch and it was pretty packed. 85 is always standard for solid quality breads and drinks and this location is all about that. Whenever they have fresh bread, they always come out the door and say the phrase: "Fresh bread" They seem to restock throughout the day until almost closing hours so there's plenty of bread stock around. Staff here is also friendly and efficient. I recommend either ordering on their app to collect rewards and/or their self order kiosk inside. Interior is also pretty spacious, plenty of tables on the left along with a outdoor patio area. Parking is free in a big shared parking lot. My go-to drinks here are the sea salt series and there's plenty of breads that I love including the various versions of the bolo bao (pineapple bread). I also recommend checking out their cakes for special occasions as well, great quality and affordable. read more

The bakery is always clean & when I stop by in the mornings, they usually have a great selection of breads fully stocked. If something I want isn't out yet, the staff is always happy to check the back to see if it's ready, which I really appreciate. The breads and pastries are great & affordable. For their drinks, I do wish they added a little more ice since it tends to melt much quicker than other places. read more

They have great selections of savory pastries, sweet pastries, different types of bread, beautiful mouthwatering desserts & yummy looking beverages. Can't complain about these prices either! Im glad I don't have one near me, or else I'd be here daily smh lol. Get the 85° App to check out new items. The App also allows you to see the promos & definitely get it to earn points. I've pre-ordered cakes for special occasions & holidays several times from 85°... And, I like getting a box of goodies when I go visit family. If you're a newbie to 85°. You can simply browse inside to see what all the hype is. Step 1: Order your drinks 1st at the kiosk, esp if you're in a hurry Step 2: Grab a tray (Bec you'll definitely need one! Or Two. Hehe) Step 3: Pile up your tray, or two... Everything is labeled Step 4: If you didn't order any drinks at the kiosk, do it now. Before you fall in line to pay for your goodies Step 5: Devour at your own risk Note for Cafe: Recent visit was on Sunday 6/14/26. The trays I grabbed were not clean. You can't go wrong with all the pastries at 85C. I came here around dinner time and it wasn't busy at all. My go to pastry is the Choco bun, Taro bread, milk bread, and their grapefruit green tea. The price is always great. Customer service is great and everything that I can tell is clean. I love coming there to get dessert or to get items for breakfast. read more
Came by to get some coffee and snacks using my rewards points before they expire. They didn't have the pastries that I wanted and the toast bread can't be bought with reward points! They did have coffee so I was able to use some of my points...but, bottom line I need to go to another 85C bakery tomorrow before my points expire. So 2 stars... read more

This is my favorite 85C Bakery! I've been to a few locations and have liked this one the most because it's always well stocked with lots of options and the inside and outside seating is the best. I stopped by again yesterday after our Costco run and my husband and I got some treats. Found some new items I haven't had or seen before. I then took advantage of their monthly coupon for BOGO 50% off on some of their drinks. Was bummed to see they were out of the Vietnamese Coffee, but it worked out because I got the Sea Salt Coffee which I think is my new favorite! We also got a bunch of our usual pastries and I am in love with the pastry I had here yesterday that was the Coffee Cruffin. The filling is so addicting and delicious. Prices are also not bad for each item, like $2-$3ish, but it can add up. Everything I got, minus the drinks, was like $23 which isn't bad for all the items you get. Our drinks did take awhile, but they were so busy so we didn't mind waiting. We decided to enjoy our treats in their outside seating which I prefer because it's a nice view and less chaotic than the inside. I recommend coming here early because by the end of the day a lot of stuff can sell out. It does get really busy in waves, but I always have a good experience here and feel like this location has a bit more to offer than the others I've been to. read more

A larger location with inside or patio seating. Kiosks to order a drink while you browse the breads. Pick up a tray to hold your bundle with individually wrapped treats ready to go. Service is excellent and always busy. Love seeing the bustle of 85 bakery fans finding their favorites. The app has great perks for loyal customers. Lots of parking available. Located right off the 71 fwy it's a quick little detour for some fresh bread! read more

Good boba texture and pastries are up to standard compared to other 85's. Love their fluffy strawberry cake with the soft texture and strawberry on top. Not a fan of the White choco strawberry bun. This is our first time visiting this 85 Degree bakery as the one closest to my home is under renovation. I'm genuinely appalled by what 85°C Bakery in Chino Hills handed me today. I ordered a simple drink, Thai Ice Tea with boba with less ice, something I've had countless times at the West Covina location and ended up with what I can only describe as a science experiment gone wrong. Take a good look at the bottom of my cup (see attached photo). What is that? It looks like soggy, used-up coffee grounds fused with sand and despair. No joke! It tasted like someone swept a dusty café floor and funneled the debris straight into my drink. I tried asking the barista what the mystery sludge was. Cue the blank stare and the world's most unconvincing "It's just boba." No, it most definitely was NOT. I've had boba. This was more like gritty beach mud disguised as an ingredient. It ruined the entire drink and left my mouth feeling like I licked the inside of a vacuum bag. Cleanliness? Questionable. Quality control? Clearly nonexistent. At this point, I don't even trust their pastries. Do better, 85°C. This was not just disappointing, it was borderline disgusting. read more

Every visit I always get a new pastry and drink! I tried the Strawberry White Chocolate Bun & the Strawberry Matcha and both were great. The cashier was friendly and helped me decide on which matcha to get based on popularity. The cafe is very spacious so I always get to enjoy my sweets inside. Go give it a try! (: read more
One of the largest locations I've ever seen! Spacious and open seating space inside as well as an outdoor patio area that looked nice. So many pastry and drink selections. One of the bigger 85 C bakeries I have visited. Clean trays are provided so you can choose your pastries and bread. I always get the chocolate cookie bread and chocolate buns. This time I tried the strawberry cream square. So cute with strawberry slice topping. It was light and not too sweet. There was a long line but it went pretty quickly. I don't come here often, but was craving Boba tea today after taking a walk at the English Springs Park in Chino Hills. I use the touchscreen kiosk for ordering my drink, which was very simple, only a few screens to go through. Easy tap pay with credit card. Then you just wait for your order number to be called. I ordered a passionfruit green tea at 50% sweetness, light ice, with Boba. It was delicious and refreshing! It was ready within five minutes. read more
