From the first site visit to the final walkthrough, everything was seamless. William managed this project very well and guided us through this process with ease. At any point if we had questions he was quick to respond. The showroom they have is great and the experience of setting your preferences on design and materials is quite enjoyable. The only hiccup we encountered is that the supplier of the original tile that had been selected did not come in the size we needed and so it wouldn't have meshed well with the current tile in the living room. William helped us find a suitable alternative and we were able to pivot and are very pleased with the outcome. There were a couple of adjustments during the project but again related to the tile, we changed the direction of the placement which allows for us to replace the remaining tile in the house in the future if we decided to do so. William and team thinking ahead with our needs in mind really provided a sense of care. To top it all off, we wanted this build done ASAP and the team was able to complete the remodel in 8 days compared to their estimate of 10 - 14. We are extremely pleased with the work and so glad we went with a business right here in Kaneohe. Thank you William, Wen, and team! We found Eric Blanco in the Yelp page and read all his reviews and found the right person for the job. We engaged Eric to design 2 matching wardrobe cabinets to blend in with our existing built in shelving. Eric installed the 2 wardrobe cabinets using solid oak that he stained to the exact color of my existing shelving, the wardrobe closets was beautifully built with lights upon opening and drawers and shelf . We are very happy with his work, he's meticulous, detailed and is always happy , his crews are also very friendly and conscious . We know he is standing by his work and will come back to fix or make any changes that we ask him to do. We highly recommend Eric for anything pertaining to woodworking , he's the best in Honolulu! We can't compare his custom made work with others quotes from closets company since the other closets company are made of prefab unit and mostly are pressed wood, when Eric's cabinets prices are a little higher but the quality is so much better! I called Anytime Handyman to come out and replace 2 damaged doors and install 2 new doors. I sent a text message to let Tyler letting him know my lock box number since it's a rental and no one will be there to let him in. I gave explicit instructions as to which doors needed to replaced. (it was obvious because of the visible damages). He sent me the estimate, I agreed and paid for the doors so he could order it. They went back to the rental, and installed the new doors as planned. Here's the prolblem, they took off the wrong door (not damaged) and put the new door on. Leaving the damaged door still damaged. That's not the end of it, the latch was not installed properly, it had a hole and crack. As for the other door that they installed, there was also a problem, the strike plate and latch were off centered and wasn't closing properly. I called Tyler to tell him the wrong door was removed and replaced, and sent him a snap shot of the text I sent him when he went out for the estimate, explaining which doors needed to be replaced. His answer was, that's not how he interpreted it. Everything seemed to be wrong with the job. From the wrong door being replaced, to the damages to the door and the other door's latch not closing properly. He said not to worry and it's normal it's not a problem, just let him do his job. Now I'm no handyman but I do know how to install a lockset, and I've never seen a hole of that size, nor did I ever see a strike plate and latch installed at an angle. In Tyler's defense, he did say if I'm not happy he would give me a new door. But at this point, my trust with their quality of work has diminished. Not even a new door would make me continue to do business with them. I will take that loss, and stop all remaining repairs with this company. Update: I read the business owner's responses to my review. First of all, the "so called Painter's" was my daughter and son in law who came over the weekend to help paint the doors, only to find the damaged doors and discrepancies on the other door as well, including the wrong door that was removed. I would have no reason to damage these doors that I had already paid in Full upon completion on Weds. Lastly, it speaks volumes when a business owner would illegally break a homeowner's right of privacy and send photos to anyone requesting it, without prior authorization. I stand by my review.
