I was told by a rep that I had to visit this store in person to fill out forms and provide proof of death to cancel my mom's account after her passing. I confirmed multiple times with the rep on the phone that this was necessary, despite my experience that billing issues are usually handled through 611. After driving there and wasting time and gas, I found out it wasn't necessary at all. When I arrived at the Flag Miami store, I explained my situation to the store manager. Unfortunately, she seemed more focused on chatting with her team and complaining about not being able to attend a meeting the next day than helping me. This experience was frustrating and deeply disappointing, especially during such a difficult time. Better communication and professionalism are needed between customer service and the stores.

We went and ordered an iPhone 7 on December 29th 2017- we were told that guaranteed it would arrive no later than 1/8/18, great because we have a trip planned the week after. Furthermore when we have gone to check on the status of the delivery because they didn't give us the correct tracking number for our order, they brushed us off saying that it would be there in "two days" or "really soon", twice. I had to physically call and wait too speak to a store representative over 10 minutes on hold to finally get her to look up the order status accurately, and even then we had no answer. She tried to placate me by saying that it's "special order since the store doesn't keep the iPhone in stock" and that it has been "delayed in the post office since 1/7/18"- gee why wouldn't she tell us this when we went on the 8th? When asking she replied "oh we don't really go into depth on the delivery information. You should call the post office and see if you can pick it up yourself". This conversation took a further 15 minutes, and now we leave tomorrow with no phone. Unbelievable, we've used this location for the past 2 years, I think it's time to go and switch. Update: phone finally came on 1/26/18. Almost a complete month! WowWhen we picked it up and asked to transfer over phone super passive aggressive and unhelpful. I purchased an adapter from Apple recently with online order and it was the wrong one. Apple does not make the USB-A to USB-C adapter but the Apple associate who helped me informed me that Beats is closest thing to Apple product since Apple bought Beats. Cost was $18.99 so not bad. The Mophie option was $19.99. Noted. I decided to wait on this purchase to see if I really needed it. This is more for all the new plugs changing over to USB-C but I still want to use anything I have that still caters to USB-A. Confusing right? Ha. All in all, Apple customer service is usually always top notch and the stores are minimalistic. Clean and modern. Aesthetically pleasing. Great location!

The Apple Watch I had for a little over three years breathed its last this past Saturday evening…read more Apparently I missed a step when trying to login a swimming workout and it did not go fully water resistant. It started turning off, locking, and just switching to the Apple icon. I first stopped by the T-Mobile store in Wynwood and they were out of watches with the wrist strap that I wanted. To their credit the T-Mobile employee referred me to go to this Apple Store. I explained the situation first to Sebastian, the sales manager on the floor. He tested and was able to generate at least a partial credit for my old watch. He then talked me through the configuration and selection process for a new watch through their in-store iPad. He also explained that I could've swapped out my wrist band into the new watch. (I have one of the sports ones instead of the default when it comes with the iPhone.) After completing my order & payment, he asked that Denise help me with the actual configuration & setup for my watch. She had me sit at one of the open table / workbenches and charge my phone while the ioS software updated on my phone & watch. This did take almost over an hour, which was a hiccup to my Sunday schedule. However, I now have a new & functioning AppleWatch. The store itself is pretty clean and well lit, though watched by the tough looking security guys at various points along the store. The bathroom is accessible behind a service corridor.
