I noticed all the positive reviews on yelp and Google, so I decided to bring my personal laptop to have it checked out. Victor said it would be $50 to find out what was wrong and provide an estimate for repairs. After a few days, I hadn't heard anything from the store, so I called. He said the laptop was ready to be picked up. Hard drive replaced a new operating system installed, pay one $260.WHAT?! Rather than continue to argue with him I decided to share my experience with everyone. I know many of us are having a difficult time during this pandemic, but there's no need for this! Also, the original operating system was El Capitan (2015) and he left me with Lion (2011). By the way, the laptop is still not working properly. I had a computer that was not working properly this morning. We called PC Techman Miami and got a friendly greeting from Victor. He took the few minutes to listen to the problem we were having. He advised to bring it over immediately, that he would look at it for us. We got an estimate to perform a system clean and left the computer for repair. A few hours later, we got a call of a virus prohibiting administrative functions. Victor offered to perform a backup of the computer, having to reinstall Windows 10. I stressed to him that the computer needed to be completed at the end of the day. He advised he would do his best. At 5:30 pm we got the call that the computer was in working order and ready for pickup. Victor only charged us the initial quote, having the computer for most of the day. He also offered us an upgraded anti-virus program. I found him to be honest and upfront, with high customer satisfaction. I don't know how the pricing rates, but he did not charge us more for essentially providing a new computer. We did opt for the advanced anti-virus program. read more

When I do require assistance with a problem which I am unable to fix, I need TOP QUALITY, EXPERT support, in which I can feel confident & have it performed in a timely manner, i.e., less than the 'customary' ["leave it with us" for] 10 days! (Need I explain the absurdity in doing so?) I came to PC Techman Miami as a result of a referral from Felix PhoneFix, which I patronize frequently. DIANELYS is an absolute angel & the answer to my computer tech-support prayers! She fixed my problem while I waited (which was not long) & charged me next to nothing since my problem necessitated her performing an online search for the solution. (Her attitude was, "I learned something new today!") Needless to say, I have now found my PERMANENT & ONLY 'GO TO' PC repair store!!! I am so impressed with Dianelys that I plan to, for the first time in more than 30 years, solicit her input & advice concerning any future hardware purchases I make (including a new computer), going forward. I have a Sony VAIO Laptap for over 9 years. Had a virus and took it to Victor, he removed Window 7 Professional, saved my documents and installed Window 7 Ultima, replaced 120GB drive to 640GB HD. Also installed an antivirus protection and Office 2016. The charger died and sold me a new charger. I'm so thrilled with the awsomely job he did in 6 hours. I was really impressed. I google'ed PC repair when my Motherboard died. Trust I was expecting some Pc tech guy who tries to rip you off and found Victor to be a straight honest business and professional man with his customers best intentions at heart. Case in point, I almost took my PC else where after i dropped it off at this shop, thinking I found a better spot and Victor waved the diagnose fee for me so i wouldn't have to pay 2 diagnose fees from two different shops. I respected his ethics so much i just told them go ahead with the repairs. I was unhappy that the backup of my hard drive was incomplete. To be fair they did reimburse the back up fee because they had failed to do a complete backup but I felt they were rude and dismissive of my concerns. When I asked why they failed to disable sync of Google drive before wiping my hard drive they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about which indicates to me that they really don't know what they are doing. Don't go there unless you just need a phone screen replaced or something simple like that. They are out of their depth when it comes to sophisticated computer issues. read more

When my desktop crashed, a friend of mine recommended PC Techman and told me that she had a positive experience with their services. I thank god that I took her advice and called them up. Sure enough, I spoke with someone right off the bat. He was very helpful and even made an emergency house call when I told him that I had young children and worked from home. I went in with a cracked iPhone. I dropped my phone and cracked the screen...to the point were glass started coming off. I was recommended by a friend who went in with a similar problem...cracked screen. They told me the flat rate for replacing the screen (roughly $120). What I like about this place is that they don't try to jip you off. I took my laptop in because it kept overheating and the fan made a lot of noise. He dusted off the fan for me and it has been fine since. He gave me some advice on what to do and didn't charge me. He didn't make up something false in order to charge me like how other big name stores have done (i saw the story on the news). I also took my mother-in-law's laptop to be fixed. She had a horrible virus and it was taken care of right away for a decent price. I also like that if you have any questions, he tries to answer you in a way you can understand without all the computer jargon, which helps if you don't really know much about computers. read more

Something in my computer broke so I looked up computer repair places online and came across this place on Yelp with the couple of positive reviews that are on here. I was mainly looking for absence of bad reviews. So I called this place first before going in and the person who answered the phone was very nice and told me I could bring in my laptop. I couldn't leave it there because I needed it for work so he opened it up and looked at it while I waited which was super-convenient. He and another gentleman, who also works there, came up with a clever solution to my problem and they saved me a lot of money. I had comparison shopped and I know there were other places who would have tried to get the most of out of me. That can work as a way to do business, however what these guys bought with their actions with me is a lot of trust and if I ever have another problem I will go back there. You can tell the guys enjoy what they do and it really felt like a shop in a small town where the service was very caring and friendly rather than where it is which is big ol' Miami-Dade. Brought in my iPhone for a screen repair, all was needed was the glass replacement which I brought in. When I came back to pick up the phone they had told me I needed the whole LCD replaced which I know you can move the parts over to the glass screen. My phone was already taken apart so they told me they have to put a new LCD which costed me $120, before, my invoice was $45. They scammed me, never going back again. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! Went there for a cracked iPhone screen and two days later half of the light on my screen went out. Went back to get it fixed and then my speaker phone wasn't working. Gave them a second chance with my boyfriends iPhone and even worse, his phone a week later started turning red and eventually the phone just died completely. Went to another place and was told that the guy at PC Tech put in a wrong screw that fried the mother board and the screen he put on had water damage. They also do phone repairs in this location. My Dad had a battery replacement on his iPhone 5 and it stoped charging about 6 weeks after the repairs but he was in Jamaica. He came and I took the phone in and I was told the guarantee is only 30 days. I told them to to please show me something in the store and also something I signed showing 30 days. How long have they had these batteries in their inventory? He proceeded to say if I went to best buy would they fix something pass their guarantee. I reminded him that previously had spent $800.00 on a computer repair that he was not able to repair based on our signed agreement and I did not ask him back for any refund on that repair. He placed a call to the young lady who did the repairs and was speaking to her in Spanish unaware that we spoke Spanish to which she proceeded to ask him if "these people " expected a lifetime warranty. I don't know if she was implying Jamaican people but I guarantee you he was right about one thing....... it is better to go to a bigger company. read more
